This place was so good, I ended up coming about once a week. As odd as this may sound, this was probably my favorite Paris restaurant of all the cafes and places we ate during our 3-week stay in the Bastille area. I was drawn by the name of the restaurant, as anytime I see this name, I know the restaurant serves hand-pulled noodles, made from scratch. You can see the guy pulling the noodles from the sidewalk. I was so excited I was nearly run over by a car as I crossed the street LOL!
The egg rolls were crispy and were a decent taste. I also ordered the beef noodle soup, and it was sooooo good! I have never had beef so tender in my life! The noodles were hearty, and you can definitely tell a difference between store-bought and handmade. The broth was spot on as well. Service was on point, whether to-go or dine-in. Food was ready on time as promised when picking up, or food did not take a long time to arrive after ordering (maybe ten minutes). I loved having the ability to see into the kitchen!
There was enough English spoken so that we could communicate. The restaurant also has menus in English. Free wifi is also available, which is good for travelers.
If I am ever in Paris again (yeah, right), I would definitely return. I would put this restaurant at the top of my list. I recommended this place to others in the group, who also visited and raved about the food. You must come here! read more
