I live near this salon and I wanted this to be a good experience. I've gone two times now and both experiences were bad... The first time they were just TOO busy, I didn't feel relaxed the entire time I was there and I felt rushed. I went back a second time and tried someone different and this was really a bad experience. The salon had opened an hour early on a Sunday because they were "overbooked", it was nice to go in and not feel rushed and stressed by how busy they were. However, the gal that did my nails was very unfriendly. I don't think I'm difficult but I do think I should tell someone how I like something the first time they're doing my nails... She did not appreciate it and it was quite evident for almost an hour. Very sorry to say I will not be going back. read more

Went in for a mani with no appoinment and didn't have to wait that long. They have a lot of colors to choose from. Love the ambiance of the place, really clean and smells good, also, they play a very relaxing music. The only thing is that the lady who did my nails wasn't really talking to me the whole time and tried to start a conversation w/ her but she didn't seem to be interested so that was a little awkward Lol the owner was really nice and very welcoming. My boyfriend had an appointment at the barber shop next door for 11 am and i was pressed for time since I also had a hair appointment at 12:30 in Chinatown. While he was waiting, I decided to walk into the salon to see if I could get a quick cut and file. Fay sat me in at 11 and I explained to her I was in a rush since I wasn't sure what time my boyfriend was going to finish. They cut and filed my hands and feet and painted my toes and I was done by 11:10. Awesome service, flexible, accommodating. I will definitely come back when I have more time lol read more

My search is over. I have found the perfect nail salon. The salon is clean, the staff are friendly and the ambiance is very relaxing. I love that they use sanitary tools and they wrap the bowl in plastic before running the water. Sandy was my technician and she is very thorough. The way she applies gel is impeccable. Most technicians leave the nail bed wavy and uneven. Overall a great experience. The map has the salon closer to the street but it is actually located toward the back. Will definitely return with friends and family. read more

I called Lami Nails and made a same day appointment and they were able to take me at the time I wanted! I had been referred by a friend to go to Steven, and so I requested him! I have struggled finding a good quality nail salon that wasn't over priced for now 6 years that I have been living in henderson and I FINALLY FOUND ONE! LAMI NAILS!!! Steven was so nice and gentle with my nails. I love getting dip powder, but all the other salons I've been to have listen horrible and never last past 5 days...Steven did the SNS dip powder on me with gel color and they are more than perfect! And it came with a manicure, which most salons charge more for! I also got a gel pedicure by Steven and he was so gentle and took his time! This has been the BEST nail care I have received in my time here! I could not have left happier (especially since their prices are very reasonable)!!! Their salon was the most clean I have ever seen a nail salon and all the staff thanked me for coming in and were so sweet! I am going to Lami Nails from now on!!! (702)837-0202 Sandy is Mom's favorite, and when I called Jade Nails to book an appointment with Sandy, a gentleman answered the phone and informed that Sandy and Fay have sold the store and moved to Vietnam 2 months ago, and that was a lie because Sandy did Mom's nails just a month ago. I got online and found a post on Yelp by a loyal Client of the two ladies and I am glad I did my little research. I understand the politics of changing locations and I am lucky being a bit of an internet savvy but what about those who aren't. We like the new place and we will follow Sandy anywhere she goes. FYI : Lami Nails does not sell skin products. I happen to read a review just now, and clearly it is a negative post by the competition. If you are smart you ignore it. As I am writing this I questioned the staff at LAMI NAILS and they denied selling any skin products and there nothing on their shelves but Manicure bottles. Lami and her team are amazing! They do their best to accommodate you when you walk in without an appointment. I was very impressed. The salon is very clean and serene. They use new liners for their bowls and clean tools after each client. Very important for me as I had contracted toe fungus from another salon a few months back. You'll want to give them a try. I am fussy about nail salons since I have contracted an infection from a pedicure indecent before, so I was nervous to try a place outside of my normal spot. The yelp reviews convinced me to at least peak in and decide if I would stay after seeing the place. The salon was very, very clean. I was escorted to a chair and noticed immediately that they use the disposable tub liners (kinda like a big shower cap that covers the entire tub). Fantastic! I also saw her taking all of the tools out of the package. No used tools that you have to wonder are disinfected or not. Perfect! The lady who did my pedicure was one of the owners and very polite and efficient. The pedicure was only $25 and she even fixed a split toenail for me without an extra charge. There was a wide selection of polish colors, OPI, Essie and China Glaze were all there. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend giving them a try. read more

My girlfriend and I were looking for a new nail place so I checked Yelp first. Number one concern was cleanliness so I was pleased about reading previous reviews and hearing about lining of the foot baths and sealed nail kits as I got a toe infection from another highly rated salon. We made an appointment for a Sat at 1pm for us to be done together for a standard mani/pedi. We get there and one of the nail technicians was behind 35 minutes. Now I get you a have another paying customer but definitely not a good first impression. We pick out our nail color and they had a great selection of colors and different brands which is nice. The technician was super through and asked me lots of questions which I appreciated. They let me sit next to my friend during her service which was nice so we could chat. There were no high pressure sales of upgrades which I liked as well. I know we've found our new nail place, if they hadn't apologized like 4 times about the delay I would've rated them 4 stars because of the delay but they seemed sincere. read more

I've been to this place many times before. It's clean and all the women there are so nice. However, I made an appointment for yesterday. They guy that worked there was the only available tech and I was totally cool with that. But he was rude. He kept jerking my hands to the positions he wanted them and squeezed my fingers ridiculously hard. Then, when I wanted them shaped to coffin style, he used freaking scissors to cut them AND HE CUT MY FINGER so deep that it bled non stop for 10 mins!! . The owner of the place just kinda looked at it and shrugged her shoulders. The nails were crooked and uneven in thickness, despite the many times I told him how I wanted them. The owner kept looking in on the progress seeing that i was not happy, yet constantly reassuring me that "they look great". On top of all that mess it took him almost two hours to finish and I was charged $50! The most I've ever paid for nails at that place. Needless to say I did NOT tip and I had to go home and redo the shape and color myself! Never will I go back to this place! read more

I went to Lami nail spa for the first time . It was an amazing experience. I had the jelly pedi soak. It makes you feet incredibly soft,plus the aroma therapy from it was so relaxing. The salon is spotless and all instruments are in sealed sterilized packaging. My gel manicure was perfect. Technician put on several coats of color,plus did an ombre effect with glitter. Loved it!!
