First time trying Lami Nails for a last minute pedi before I left town. Called, luckily got an appointment for 20min later, 6pm right before they closed. Sweet!! Leon did my pedicure and didn't rush at all. He took his time, did a great paint job as I'm still old school and get regular smegular paint. I have issues with an ingrown and he got it out even though I messed it up. Another awesome thing, he didn't use a dremel on my nails, and just hand filed them. I LOVE that!! I have been going to Lami's Nails for 3-4 months. They are friendly and conversational. I enjoy that along with the fact that there are only three of them so it's never crowded. The salon is always very clean which in itself is an important part of the customer experience. I recently decided to leave the salon as for the second or third time the gel polish chipped in less than two weeks. The first time it happened, I mentioned it to them as I was selecting polish. Lami suggested their new Fall colors. I told I was leery of the brand as my nails had chipped all over the place in a week in a half. Instead of apologizing, I was told the polish was basically fine. I kept going to the salon against my instincts as I truly enjoyed the environment and the lower prices I had experienced at other salons. This past week my gel polish began chipping a week and 1/2 in, and I wasn't doing anything that would have contributed to it. I don't like having to go back and forth to the salon, as I am sure they would have fixed it. I don't have that kind of time nor do I want to feel like this is all high maintenance. So, I decided that the lower prices were not worth the headache. It is apparent to me that the low prices mean cutting costs by using sub par polishes. read more

I came in to get my nails done on Sunday and after 4 days of normal daily activities, my nail coating chipped. If I pay $40 for nails, I expect them to last more than 4 days. I would not come back because there are better places for the same price. I'm disappointed because I got my nails done for a festival and now I'm going to be bothered the entire trip with my chipped nail. read more

I had a great experience with all the staff at Lami's. Willie started on my nails and the shaping was great. Then Lami finished up my nails doing French tip and adding rhinestones. I also got the luxury pedicure, which was heaven. It smelled amazing and Leon does wonders with the feet/legs massage. I really liked that they tried to accommodate my sister and I on what design we want and were honest about what they were comfortable doing. This is a nail shop for basic designs, so don't expect fancy/complicated designs. I enjoyed the vibe and I like that they are willing to learn new things for customers in the future. 10/10 recommend I love my nails and feet! read more

I'd rather be told they are running a bit behind than have her sit there for an hour. They gave her a great pedicure. They didn't try to upsell. I usually do not make an appointment to get my nails done. I go to whatever nail salon is near me but as of recently, I have been going to Lami Nails. I make an appointment in the morning & they are always ready when I go in and the quality and the time they spend with me is much better than most salons. I do not feel rushed & the pedicures are always very nice and relaxing. The atmosphere is quiet. There's not 1 million people in there talking and they're very friendly. We've been going to Lami for years. Even before she had her own salon. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is also the cleanest nail salon that I have ever been in. I don't worry about getting any kind of germs from going there. I'm also impressed with how great they treat the older clientele. I usually bring my own polish, but they have a huge selection of colors. It's a great place to go. They take walk ins but I would strongly suggest an appointment, they are very popular. read more

This place is very nice. They are helpful and kind. They do a great job on my pedicure. I like the massage chairs and the warm foot bath prior to. Everything was sanitized or disposable and they even lined the bath area to prevent germs and infection. I feel very comfortable here and can usually get right in and get it done. It's nice, clean, new and a wonderful environment to relax for a bit. Well done! One time they cut my nails a little too short and it bled a bit, so I took off a star for that. I have supported this local business for years, but in the last few months there have been so many changes and the integrity of what the salon used to run by is gone. Two of the favorite nail techs have been asked to leave, the warmth in the salon has gone away, and the owner, who I've known for quite some time was not transparent about why my tech left, but instead lied to me and just tried to pawn me off on a new nail tech without explanation. I felt very uncomfortable and knew she was not being forthcoming. It is quite sad for a business not to have integrity especially with its long time supportive clients. It now seems like they only want to make more money while forgetting who makes their business run, the clients. Sad to not go back, but I refuse to after what happened. read more

I went in for a manicure that was the worst I've ever received. I told Leon NOT to clip my cuticles and he not only ignored that he nicked 2 of my fingers so that I know have to wear band aids with Polysporin until they heal! Also said to NOT file my mails down but to make them all a little more even. He began talking and filed the heck out of my 4th nail on the left hand (also where the nicked fingers is) and now it looks as if the nail was broken because it's so fricking short. Due to that experience I had to come home and take the polish off because the manicure looked was awful on shorter then usual nails!!!! WORST NAIL BUSINESS I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED........BUYER BEWARE. I wanted to like them because they are literally four minutes from my house. I called ahead and went in for a pedicure. They didn't even ask what kind I wanted before he started. I figured I'll let it go. But then he proceeded to grate the callous off my heel until I bled, which he tried to correct with nail glue. I've been getting pedicures for nearly 25 years and I have never had that happen. Maybe the skin around the cuticle but never grate my heel until it bled. I get pedicures regularly so it's not like it was unmanageable. I will not be coming back. The first time I've ever gotten a service on my feet and wanted to walk out. I've never not wanted to tip someone for a pedicure in my history of getting them. The ladies there seem to be more attentive if you decide to venture there. But I politely pass. Lami Nails Spa is an immaculate nail salon which is highly important to me. All the tools they use are sanitized after each use and they use plastic liners in the pedicure bowls. Lami does my powder nails and she is a complete perfectionist. My nails look very natural now. I had acrylic nails for years which ruined my nails, so Lami started doing my powder nails five months ago and they are now healthy and strong. She also gives a great pedicure! I brought my sister in to have Lami wax her brows and she said no one had ever waxed her brows so perfectly and pain free too! The massage chairs (combined with the soft background music) are relaxing and soothing. I have been to several salons in the Las Vegas/Henderson area since moving here four years ago, and I am thrilled to have finally found Lami. She came highly recommended to me by a friend. Also, the rates they charge are reasonable and fair. I do recommend making an appointment because Lami books up quickly. However, there are also other technicians who are very good and I wouldn't hesitate to have them do my nails if Lami was unavailable. I highly recommend Lami Nails Spa! read more

Lami told me she couldn't help me at 12:20PM, because she had a 1:15PM appointment. She called me at 12:08 and I told her I was already on my way to the salon. I drove all the way to her and made my way inside only to be told that she couldn't help me. What?? She could've told me this over the phone. Did I mention I paid over $110 during my last visit for dip powder mani, gel pedi, and an eyebrow wax..you'd think they le treat their customers a little better. Incredibly unprofessional and a waste of time. Would give 0 stars if possible. read more
