The barbecue nachos are flour, tortilla chips and not corn. They were over fried and the chunks of barbecue were too big to fit on the chip. This was some of the worst barbecue I've had in a long time and maybe ever. There was zero Char on the ribs. They tasted almost like they had been steamed or something. They were wet but not sauce, just with what seems like steam. The dry rub seasoning was basically just wet goo. Regardless, the fact that half of them were probably around 48° makes it impossible to enjoy them. I still don't understand how this is possible. The atmosphere is fine, though it's a tiny restaurant. The service is uneventful. There were only two tables, including ours that had customer at it. Our server was sitting in the corner with her boyfriend the whole time hanging out with him and she would just get up occasionally and check on us. She had no personality. There's a 0% chance I would ever give this restaurant another chance. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. It's completely obvious that there is zero supervision or management this restaurant.

But, in contrast to his review, I think the beans are unique. Sure, they may be canned beans, but the hearty addition of pulled pork makes them pretty fine. And the simplicity of the food's delivery (packaging) makes Manning's BBQ authentic. A slab of ribs foiled wrapped and placed in a plastic bag with the addition of a styrofoam cup of beans? Nice!
