Beautiful, inviting, well organized, realizing, restorative. I cannot say enough good things about this space and Jenn as a teacher. 10/10

After my second c-section, I was hesitant to enter a yoga studio. But I've heard it said that…read moresometimes we need yoga the most when we want it the least. I am glad, that with some encouragement from my husband to do something I once enjoyed, I found my way back on the mat. When I landed there at Sanctuary Power Yoga, I found a piece of the peace I'd been seeking. Heather and her amazing team have been incredibly supportive. Always welcoming, they have encouraged me during my personal health journey and celebrated wins along the way--yes, even when I joyfully exclaimed "I did a push-up!" at the end of class. I appreciate the gentle reminders that are provided throughout any class to listen to your body, let go of comparison, and approach each practice with grace. "In your own time, in your own way." The spacious yoga studio full of mats is quite a sight! A truly awesome place that brings together a booming supportive community that expands beyond those walls. I loved the outdoor classes at the park and lake this summer with birds swooping in to join. Yoga has somehow become a part of my regular routine, not just for my body, but for my mind and spirit. Some days getting on the mat are easier than others but consistently leaving feeling better is great motivation to keep coming back. With gratitude I encourage anyone and everyone interested to give Sanctuary Power Yoga a try- whatever class you decide, settle in on the mat and find yourself. Once there you'll see it is more than a studio--it's a way to a space that provides the time to lighten up, breathe, and just be, present. A space you can return to again, on and off the mat. Start as you are, approach the practice and yourself with nonjudgement. You might find exactly what you need.

Each class is just a bit different allowing for a self paced, continuous workout for mind and body. Definitely my go to in the NW corner.

Each of her classes begins with an offer of hot herbal blended tea wrapped in a hand knit Ball jar and ends with essential oil reiki touch. The painted birch trees on the front wall are spellbinding. The space is magical with a lovely area with Deb's teas and oils and a gorgeous studio. Deb leads the class with clear direction and beautiful meditations, and Anna's Reiki and oil combinations stir energy in an amazing way. Over the summer I took a Yoga by the River with live music class--it was a perfect way to spend a beautiful evening outside! Deb is also my nutritionist. She made me feel so comfortable and heard during the intake meeting, and offered so much support as I incorporated her suggestions. The changes we made had the desired effect: I reduced the medication I take for my allergies, feel less anxiety, and shed a few pounds. I highly recommend Roots Yoga and Nutrition for beautiful yoga practices and excellent nutrition guidance and support.

I really liked this class. I do barre3 in New York so I'm no stranger to the workout but I found…read morethat the instructor I tried on Saturday morning was so nice and led a really great workout that balanced cardio, weights, and strength training perfectly. She also had a really fun playlist - better than other barre3 classes I've done before for sure. The studio itself is really pretty and bright with a good amount of merchandise for sale. It's a nice open room with lots of mirror real estate. The class itself was more crowded than what I'm accustomed to in New York and I found myself bumping into my neighbor a couple times which was uncomfortable. Imo they would really benefit from reducing the class sizes by 5-10%. I was also a little frustrated by the conflicting info on their website which said in two different places that all equipment was provided, and then separately that you were responsible for bringing your own mats and props. As it turns out, equipment IS provided, but that should really be updated for clarity's sake. All in all, a good and fun workout and I'll be back, but some frustrations with the studio as a whole.

The studio is so beautiful and bright, each staff member is incredibly friendly, and the place has such a great energy overall. I have tried other studios, but nothing even comes close to this. I drive an hour and a half round trip just to take classes here. The intensity of classes and supportive community is worth it. I have suffered from intense chronic pain for the past 13 years and going to class here on a regular basis has given me more relief than anything else I've tried. You have to give barre3 a try!!
