I needed to have a from filled out that states my condition, I called the waipahu location and…read morespoke to whoever was in charge and I was told I needed to make an appointment because they not going do it for free. When I questioned why, I was told to be in compliance I need to come in every 3 months to make sure my condition is still there same . I have this condition for life and mention to her sound like your just money hungry. She she starts yelling f words.. I'm a newly established patient and they didn't pull any of my records from my old pcp. Very unprofessional, I think I need to find another PCP if this is how they treat their patients..

After Bristol had changed over to Ramo I thought things would improve. They did for a time. I have worked in the medical industry before in an office for medical supplies; and it seems Hawaii's handling of documents is less than satisfactory. I waited a whole week to have paperwork transferred from this PCP when I had changed. Their only excuse was they never got it. I had to play phone tag just to get them to communicate with my new PCP and then asked for a follow up call. I waited for a day off from a whole work week to get an infected ear looked at. Update: they stated at 1:43pm they had sent the paperwork; went to my new PCP nothing was sent. I had to get my paperwork in person and bring it back to my new PCP. Ridiculous that they don't have a backup system that if fax doesn't work e-mail would be a nice thing to consider

Can I just say that after going through several doctors trying to find one that I felt comfortable…read morewith both personally and professionally, I am so glad to have found Dr. Asari! A friend of mine recommended her - a friend who knows I am somewhat of a hypochondriac and always think the worst when it comes to my health. Dr. Asari is great at putting my mind at ease. She is calm and professional and extremely detailed oriented and thorough in her examinations. She will ask me what I am worried the issue is; I will tell her; and she will do what ever it takes to rule it out. She doesn't hesitate to run tests to see what's going on. Some may not like that, but I for one am thankful and appreciative instead of her just blowing things off and saying it's "nothing". She also does a great job of explaining to me why it's probably not what I think it is and helps me think things through logically. I also love how at the beginning of the visit she herself writes down a list of details and gets a good background history from me, instead of the nurse doing that. She is a great problem solver and talks everything out with me. That makes me feel better, to know what she's thinking. She will always tell me the worst scenario, but is very realistic and open about what is really going on, which validates my thoughts, but brings me back to reality; and again, she never makes me feel like a hypochondriac, even though I know I probably am. lol.

She may be right on some of these things but there is a way to deliver this information to a patient especially one undergoing significant health issues and mental instability. Avoid this retched doctor.
