I was a patient for over 12 years, but I am probably not going to be anymore. Let me disclose somethings that they do NOT disclose until you are already done: 1. If you bring in an outside pair of glasses, because you don't like what they have in stock - they will charge you at least $20 - even if they are filling the script and you are their patient. You brought in a pair of glasses that was not purchased through their store. 2. If you get cataract surgery, and you later need a pair of readers, they sold my father an (81 year old man) readers that cost over $700 which could have been purchased OTC for less than $50. 3. Also, if you wear contacts - they will charge you $85 - not covered by most insurance. Doesn't matter that your prescription hasn't changed, they just want the additional $85 - as "there are materials involved," so I was told. I don't recall anything different from any other eye exam. It ended with, "we have to renew your prescription." So there it is - $85 to renew prescriptions.

Turns out they were well worth it, because I have distance and near vision and everything in-between. I can see the dash controls on truck now, can see the little, funky, red (unfortunately) numbers on stock trading app that have lousy contrast with black background, and can see road signs in the distance. Because of other eye conditions, vision was not instantly improved, and these providers let me know what to expect and that it could be improved by an additional procedure when Medicare would cover. That was this week, and I can see again. Everyone in this facility was polite, professional, appointments were scheduled conveniently, the ophthalmologist has a sense of humor, and both he and optometrist are highly skilled. I definitely recommend this facility for eye care including surgery.

Also, a contact fitting was performed (an extra $50) and I'm not eligible to order contacts until January through my insurance. Wanted me to come back in January to make sure everything is all good. Probably to perform another contact fitting and charge that extra $50. Cancelled appointment. Will go elsewhere.
