Both the Tow Driver and the Repair Professionals were outstandand ing. Read On: We were departing Bandon Dunes to Roseville CA when our Lexus started blinking its engine light. I called our Lexus Dealer, consistent with the owner's manual they said do not drive it but have it towed for repair. Well we had AAA coverage for towing and Morin's dispatched their truck - he picked up our Lexus and us and towed us to Morin's in Coos Bay. Friendly guy and good at what he does, Thank You! It was a Friday, other facilities had already told us they could not get to us until Monday. Morin's said, "They would if they could" The diagnosed the problem to an Ignition Coil and Spark Plug. We easily could have been waiting the entire weekend and our bill could have 10x that as - how we we know (the closest Lexus dealer was almost 100 miles away). These guys are ethical! Unfortunately they no longer have the ability to work on Sprinter vehicles, but they still service the more common Ford, Chevy & Dodge trucks. I've always recommended people have their vehicles serviced here & the people are always happy they did.

Rune Borgir Local Guide·24 reviews·45 photos…read moreEdited 4 hours ago We are a 5 year customer of Tom's at North Bend Auto, and have spent well over $10k on our various vehicles since then, always happy with his services, repairs and explanations until now. Yesterday Tom refused to take back and refund us for a failed brake caliper assembly his shop installed that was 12 days beyond it's one year warranty period. His rationale was that we should have known to call a Napa certified warranty center as printed on our invoice from 9/23/2025. We were in Portland on Saturday morning when the brake fluid leaked out from an unknown source. We did not suspect it to be a faulty caliper that had just been replaced last fall. It wasn't until we found a weekend friendly, responsive repair shop (most of them had bots answering the phones) with a 4.8 rating and lots of very complimentary client reviews on his fairness of price, and had it towed to him, that we found out it was a failed caliper. It's kind of too late at that point to go find of certified NAPA Service center no? I immediately called Tom's North Bend Auto Care and left them a message, even though I knew they weren't open, just to report on the situation and tell him it was the driver side rear caliper. When I returned to North Bend and brought the failed caliper in he refused to take it back. He then sent me to Napa auto parts, who also refused to refund me, citing it was twelve days past this warranty period... I'm only writing this because if it were me in his position, I would have surely reimbursed him for the failed caliper, I'd taken it back to napa myself.... I'm very disappointed that tom did not honor this premature part failure it costs me $585 to replace. After just over a year....
