Well I have been in this shop for years never encountered a problem until today! First I was sold a semi bad vapor starter kit Bad enough I Said can I return this if it doesn't work. The man said yes fine. So I go back two hours later I tell him it is not working properly and then I showed him that the whole inside of the vaping pen came out when I pulled it from the charger it was definitely broken so he walked to the other side of the store and he comes back and he's going through my bag and he asked me if I have my cartridge ? Thought he was going to try and get it working I mean right? I said politely can I please just have my money back? That was the wrong thing to say he starts cussing me out telling me I was about to give you your money back you could just wait a minute you don't have to be a bitch I can't even remember what all was said I was shocked so then I said some words and then he said some words back and then I said I will never come back in the store etc. And my husband and myself and my nephew and everybody I know shops here and I will tell them all what took place . told him that I was going to yelp it Screaming at me over $25! Unbelievable. I went in my first time, Mind you i've lived in Lakeside for 34 years. I bought a torch lighter for 15 dollars. got it home and it worked once. brought it back and they were compete jerks about filling it up. ive never purchased a lighter that was empty in my life. so because he was being so snide and hassling me about refilling it I ask for my money back. He says theres a sign that says no returns or exchanges. He gives me another lighter and fills it a little. I get it home and fill it all the way up and it doesn't want t work. Horrible service.. first of all your friends dont come before paying customers.. second stop selling cracked pieces.. been through 3 different waterpipe bowls.. and guess what all 3 are broken .. so i find this badass piece only to get it home and it sucks.. so i take it back only to have him tell me its used cant return it. Ok i get that. But what errrks me is i just bought the piece yesterday only to try to hit out of it and it wouldnt do it's job.. so i clean it very well .. no marks just like new.. and dude wants to try to sell me a half off bowl piece. After his friends went in and took over the place after my 10 minutes trip turned in 45 minutes later.. i was not satisfied with any thing. I Was looking to buy a hookah, and out of about 5-6 nearby smokeshops this one had the biggest selection! The man working was very kind, and was very informative on the different types of tobacco, coals, accessories, brands, etc. When it was time to check out, he even went above and beyond and threw in some freebies with our purchase! The price was great for what we bought, and I will definitely be back here to buy more accessories in the future as the selection was wonderful. 5+ stars :) read more

Lakeside Smoke Shop used to be a place that my husband and I would come and buy our juice for our vapes. First couple of times going there the service was good nice and friendly and even went down on the price of the stuff we were buying there. The last visit before the visit on March 9th 2018. They were rude and were to busy chatting with their friends then to help me out. I was trying to get a new vape coils and juice that day about a $100 + sale but the guy working there didnt seem interested on helping me that i walked out of there angry not buying a single thing. When we went there on March 9th i was planning on buying some coils juice and a new vape for my husband. We were trying to find a vape that wasnt to expensive but was going to be able to handle my husbands nicotine intake. The guy working there pointed out a vape that was used wasnt in bad condition he threw the part that you put your mouth on and juice in for free. He was selling the used vape to my husband for $50.00. He told us that the original price of the vape is $80.00. We bought it for $50.00. We googled the model later the next day and we found out that a brand new vape of the same model my husband bought was inbetween $40.00 and $60.00 brand new the whole kit. He was so upset . That store needs new management and employees. I will never set foot into that store again i dont like being ripped off by people. I really couldve used whatever money i couldve saved on that vape. Please be careful shopping there and google prices if you have to. read more
