He was super patient and showed us multiple ones and explained the difference and talked to us about quality and such. Very knowledgeable and helped us make a good decision. We also wanted to purchase some other accessories and he hooked us up with some free throw ins like a fruit bowl and some other stuff. The store has literally everything you need when it comes to your hookah needs and we were impressed with Ray. Came here a couple of days ago to get a new hookah. This place had great reviews on Yelp, so I thought I'd try. Hookah selection it's self is pretty limited. They have a lot of shisha and coals which is cool. I picked up an Amira hookah which has been working out pretty well so far minus the fact that after the 1st use the rubber grommet that holds the hose into the stem won't stick anymore. Not sure why. My guess is the stem had an adhesive to make the grommet stick. I got the hose to jam in pretty tightly by using two grommets. It works, but I find that completely unnecessary. The hookah game has changed so much. I started smoking hookah about 7 years ago and have owned several hookahs. From my perspective, hookah died out to vaping so the industry started making all of these over the top, extravagant looking hookahs that have a price tag of $200 - $600 which is fucking ridiculous. The traditional looking base, like the pic you see, can still run you a pretty penny. This one went for about $75 which back in the day would have gotten you a bad ass hookah. I'm well aware my $75 bought me a mid level hookah. I'm not gonna be dropping that much money on an unhealthy habit to be honest. All in all, solid place. I really appreciate that there are still pure hookah shops around SD. Most Smoke shops switched all the inventory to vape bullshit. I definitely want to come try one of The Hookah Shoppe's famous fruit bowls. They looks great and everyone seemingly loves them. Good service, fair prices (per the industry) and good products. If you're a hookah connoisseur like myself you'll trust me when I say The Hookah Shoppe has the best orange heads in town. Let me start by saying I usually like to hit up the local hookah lounges for a chill night out with some friends. But when I'm looking to stay in, I make the 8 minute drive to Hookah Shoppe to specifically get an orange head from them because who packs their own bowls anymore? Their concept is different. They have a counter with tubs of all different flavors of hookah so it looks like you're at a buffet ordering bits and pieces of each flavor. Actually, I wouldn't recommend ordering one of each but 2-3 is sufficient. Lastly, Marcus, the owner, is the nicest guy ever. Very welcoming and great customer service skills. They're selling fake elf bars. Ran the verification code and it came up fake. qr code wouldn scan eother.​the unit also had flat print instead of the usual raised print. One of the old employees started yelling telling me to fuck off and saying I didn't know what I was talking about. They were telling me that fake units aren't their problem and blames the business they bought them from. When I started comparing a real unit and their fake and entering the verification codes they finally caved and refunded my money. The fake packaging doesn't have a black box around the warning label. The verification on the side is also sloppy and cut different then the real ones. There's clearly little/ no nicotine in the fake and the logo on the unit is flat. Dont ​get hustled by these guys. Like so many other Chaldean businesses they're moving unsafe fake products that they get on a discount from one of their cousins instead of doing good business and when you catch them trying to fuck you over they'll try to gaslight you if you don't stand your ground. read more
