Crab Mac and Cheese

Nice atmosphere, probably would be a great view of the lake during the day with big windows. Unfortunately we were there after dark. Food came out quick and server was nice. Not terrible price for a nice dinner for two

Awesome food with an amazing view. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. The burger I had was top tier.

10oz. Filet Mignon Oscar Style

I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent at Lakeside Grille. I ordered an old fashioned & it was really good. For my meal I had the 10oz. Filet Mignon Oscar Style (rare) & it was very good but, it wasn't rare. I would say it was more medium if not more than medium. My husband had the Wagyu burger (ordered medium rare)with truffle fries, but the burger was fully cooked & while still very flavorful, not what was ordered. Still would return & hope for more accurate temperature on what's ordered.

Pork Belly Steak

Once a year my husband and I splurge on an expensive dining experience. It was our 34th wedding anniversary and we decided to take a 2-day trip a few hours from home. In appearances, this place looked great, and depending on the reviews you find it also had great food. Trust me when I tell you to research the numerous sites where you can find ALL the reviews. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming as was our waitress. We asked the waitress what the Roast Pork Belly was all about. She informed us it was a large chunk of fat that was seared and covered in a glaze. It sounded delicious until it got to the table. It was nothing more than a short rib with a small section of fat in the middle. It was good but it definitely was not $15 good. My husband decided on the queen-size (12oz) prime rib for $45, it looked pathetically sad and little sitting by itself on a big plate, but he did say it was good. I ordered the $57 (14oz) boneless ribeye and a side of truffle fries for $6. It looked WONDERFUL and I teased my husband that he had just chosen poorly. It wasn't long before I had to eat my words because, by the time we left there, that was all that I had consumed. It was large, tough, dry, and flavorless and came out to me sad and alone on a plate just like hubby's. You might be wondering why there was no salad or side on those plates, it's because it didn't come with ANYTHING. That exuberant amount only covers the cost of the main course and anything else you have to pay extra for. That is where the truffle fries come in, I mean who eats JUST a steak as an entire meal?? Anyways back to those truffle fries which were more like wedges. It was obvious that they had been frozen before they received their fancy coating of truffle oil. They were cold and hollow in the center that no amount of extra doctoring could cover up. When we finally paid the $140 bill (including tip) we left, and stopped at a vending machine in the motel so I could eat. Is it really too much to ask for a dollar's worth of lettuce or potato to be included when ordering a $50 steak?? Unless you have money to blow or you are 5 sheets to the wind I don't recommend this place!

Spinach and feta cheese omelette

We only ate breakfast here because supper was a 2 hour wait and extremely expensive. We had reservations for 9 am but noticed the restaurant was empty so I asked the young girl at the counter if it would be possible to be seated a little early. She then began to lecture me that reservations are important and she could seat us because it wasn't a weekend. She lectured us like we were 5. That being said, the food itself was decent and the views were beautiful.

After having brunch there this morning (and meals at two of the other casino restaurants yesterday), I can safely say that this is by far the best food at the resort, reminiscent of the breakfasts at the nicer Embassy Suites. There's a made-to-order omelette bar, a Bloody Mary Bar, a delectable variety of fresh fruits, blintzes, waffles, and biscuits, as well as sausages and chicken fried steak. As nice as breakfast can possibly be in a hotel/resort.

Overpriced and not very good. Loaded Fries were ok at best. Needs a larger selection of Bar food.

Server attentive. Food on buffet for Valentine's Day not worth the $39.95 cost. Not quality one would expect for cost.

Hours : daily 11AM - 9.30PM, Fri & Sat 11AM - 10.00PM Restrooms : inside the restaurant, strollers and wheelchairs accessible in tighter space Accessibility : dining area are strollers and wheelchairs accessible, in tighter space Parking : parking lot free in front of the building Phone : (301) 644-3388 The restaurant interior looks in older style, even always clean and sparkling. They have some small decorations here and there throughout the changing season but not much that take spaces. The temperature inside dining area always warm and warmer, which is comfortable, except if you need a restroom check, it's always cold there. The restrooms also clean most of the time. The buffet food area are the amazing part! They, the restaurant, always check on each food containers and refill anything that's looking less full than the container. All food are served hot, warm cool or cold as they supposedly serve and most importantly all are fresh food from the kitchen. The hibachi part also an amazing addition for the buffet, they can cook mostly anything and taste delicious. The sushi part also has a lot of options and all plates always filled with ready to eat sushi. Lunch and dinner menus are different, more premium food are available during dinner time, like coconut shrimps, seafoods from crawfish - crabs - muscles - oysters also steaks and prime ribs. Never had those last western food, as always looked overcooked at some point. But the most popular is the ice creams selection, mostly are Hersheys in single serving. All ice cream must be consumed dine-in. Overall this is a recommended buffet place, with wide selection of salads - western foods - asian foods - fries - fruits and desserts! #flaminggrillandbuffet #frederickmd #preservefootprints

We didn't know what to expect, especially seeing a few right-leaning shirts at the tables around us. Noticing this place while on a road trip we wanted to try it out. Breakfast was priced at $10.99 on the website. We got two plus one coffee and with tip the bill was about $35. Didn't add up, but ok. I noticed a few comments here about the staff being rude. We didn't experience that. From the cashier to the people serving drinks and picking up plates, they were nice and helpful. The food was ok, not great, but good for the price paid. I mean, from the mountains of food people were putting on their plates I'm a little confused how they make a profit. As a vegetarian and diabetic I had limited choice. If you are a meat eater, about every breakfast meat you can imagine they had, even something called scrapple, which is a regional thing I guess. There was an omelette station too. There was a dessert bar also. My husband -who has a sweet tooth- got a blueberry pie type dessert and could barely eat it because it was too sweet. As a diabetic it was good to see they had sugar free syrup and one sugar free dessert. On the buffet I could only have the eggs, mushrooms and a few house breakfast potatoes- which were quite good. We got there a little after 8:30 a.m. and it wasn't super busy. There was no waiting in line. When we left 45 minutes later, there was a huge line. Overall happy we tried it out. If we lived here we may go back to try out lunch or dinner. This isn't gourmet food, and for the price paid you wouldn't expect it. If you go, enjoy it for what it is.

Did I like everything on the buffet, no, but I did find plenty that I did like. They have a hot bar, a salad bar, a specialty bar, and a bakery bar. Nothing there was terrible, nothing was inedible, as some reviews have hinted. Some I liked better than others and In fact I'd go as far to say it's probably one of the better buffets in the area. For all you can eat, the price was very reasonable. If you can't find enough good food that you like to eat here, you are way too uppity to be eating at a buffet. I'd definitely go back, and soon.

Resort is very nice. I would love to see it during the summer. In saying and in my opinion,…read more this casino resort needs to update things in comparison with its competitors. It is very outdated and does not create a relaxing environment for all of its patrons. It seems that it's geared toward elderly non smoking people. Machines are ancient and there's no suitable clean area for people that actually smoke. The high limit room is disgraceful for a high limit room not a single updated machine. Perhaps this casino should View some of its competitors to see what actually makes a high limit room work. Rooms were comfortable but bed awful pillows. Bathroom- no shelving in shower to put soap etc, looks like it was ripped off. Strange. Restaurant is completely over priced for quality and our server the morning of 3/24/26 left us waiting and asking for everything and they were extremely slow. She seemed annoyed to be waiting on us. Casino- nothing going on as far as entertainment because it was beginning of week. Just gonna tell you that our party at four watched for three days we never saw an attendant making a hand pay. We never heard a single bell at all. We never saw a single person when anything of significance. I have never been to a casino where there was no walking around Cleaning machines, taking orders. The bartender told me that she takes it upon herself to walk around and wait on people so that she can make enough money to survive. Every conversation with the employee led to them complaining. . I never saw anyone in three days achieve a hand pay ...never heard any bells. If there are slot attendance, which I never saw those I don't understand how they make any money because I promise you it never happened so they didn't make a dollar in tips. The are high roller they'd like to smoke cigars and you can't do that here. The only thing that I saw was an overabundance of security guys that really did nothing. High limit room is a joke. Compared to my Pittsburgh area casinos, I can understand why no one ever played in that room. It's usually a room where guys that are betting like to enjoy a cigar and a nice drink while they relax in this casino you can't do that. have to go outside on the dirty porch with old machines that have lines running through the screen. Put more updated machines in and give people a smoking section the same as you do non smokers. I know people say this all the time, but this place is tight! As a gambler, I get more excited seeing other people win and I'm willing to spend more of my own money that was never the case here unfortunately you just anybody win anything. 2,000 later and we never won anything to keep us playing, as well as the couple we went with. 100 largest win. thr Resort seems like it would be lovely in the summer but the casino does not appeal to the gambler. We want a clean environment, great service to be able ti have the choice of a nonsmoking or smoking section, and also to receive a little bit of playback to keep you going. Unfortunately, this casino did not hit any of those marks. It does not appeal to a typical gambler. The average wealthy that would be willing to throw down some money might want to have a cigar and a nice bourbon. He will be in for a wake up. Call when he's thrown outside into the screened in porch filthy outdated machines wit zero cocktail waitresses. The smoking section is actually outdoors and it was freezing with a screen separating the outside. Get newer machines, wait on your customers and provide an indoor clean smoking area equivalent to non smoking!! People won't want to leave their seat! You have to leave your seat for everything! Makes it really easy to quit spending money. This review is very frustrating because I think the resort is beautiful and I want to like it but all of those things mentioned above make it difficult. It does not appeal to all people that like to gambler. It appeals to elderly non-smoking individuals and even they can't get a cocktail waitress.
