Kia,…read moreKelly's associate, said, "Just make sure everything is out of the unit and you'll be all set." A month later, MorningStar deducted funds from my bank account for July. When I called to inquire why, Kelly said, " We thought you still wanted the storage unit, since the lock was still in place." The lock was supplied by MorningStar and I was never told to remove the lock and just to remove my items. As of 7/21/22, after multiple requests to cancel, the storage unit hasn't been canceled and I have not received any move-out paperwork. I have put a stop payment on Morningstar with my credit card company, so they do not charge me for August. This is supposed to be a month-to-month storage unit with requiring a 10-day notice to vacate. Avoid or prepare to be scammed.

I was not familiar with this Uhaul location but its literally less than 5 minutes from where I will be staying. When I walked in I was greeted by JULIE who was at the service desk. As well as returning the trailer I also needed storage. Uhaul offered 1 free month of storage with my oneway rental (straight forward no strings attached) which was awesome! JULIE first set me up with my storage space and showed me the unit. She got me all checked in quickly and courteously. I had a spill in the trailer and told her after I emptied it would leave, wash it out and come back. She told me I could use their cleaning supplies and water hose, which even though I was staying so close, would save me a lot of aggravation. Pulling this trailer around, backing it up, turning etc, you have to be careful. So that was so convenient after having to unload a full trailer, by myself, in that heat! When I started unloading my things I realized the space I chose would be too small. I went back to JULIE who stopped what she was doing and made the change for me, still smiling, still genuinely courteous! She made the whole thing such an easy and pleasant experience! She really exemplifies "customer service", is friendly and a person any company would want to have as the face of their business! I hope she is appreciated by the manager/company and is rewarded for her efforts!!!

I went to cancel one of the units since I consolidated the units only to be told that I need to move my 10 x 10 to another box, or if I want to keep the one box my belongings ar in, I need to go there the day of and wait all day in the facility for their system to update that they unmerged the box and I get to start as a new customer. Alternatively, I could choose to keep both units and avoid any inconvenience. Love being held hostage and hustled by a business. Closing both out and going elsewhere where a customer is valued.
