    I wish I had read these reviews prior to going to this Lowes, Heart Lake Brampton store. The worst…read morecustomer service ever!!!! They treat you as if they are giving you a favor. When I went to make this large purchase 3 weeks ago in their pluming dept., we were greeted by this nice woman and she helped us thoroughly. I was impressed with her customer service and gave her an excellent review when she sent me the survey. Two weeks later, when some of the materials we bought were broken and had to return, we were given a little attitude. Unfortunately, you do not realize that things are not working properly until you install them and have the water run. The following week, one product had a leak so I contacted this woman in plumbing to let her know that we will be coming by to return it, no response from her. I tried messaging her again, no response. We ended up going to the store only to be treated with disrespect by this expressionless, rude, uncourteous woman (apparently a Manager) who didn't even bother to say 'hi' and gave us this weird look as if asking 'what do you want'? I could sense this was not going to be a pleasant experience. She refused to return the item as it is not hygienic and it is not their policy to return an installed item. I said how would you know if a product is working until you install and run the water? And if it's not working why does your policy say that we can return within 30 days. She was speechless and didn't like me questioning her. She told us to go back the next day and someone will replace the time as she was understaffed at that time. We went back the next morning and asked for this particular woman as we did not want to start with the whole story with a new person. They had to page her 3 times and finally arrived with a long face. I almost felt like saying 'I am sorry you have to work'. Again, no hello, didn't even speak to us and gave us a stare. She told another woman at customer service to get us the item. When this other woman requested someone from plumbing to get us the item, a mature man came and didn't even listen to what we had to say. He had met us when we bought the stuff originally. He finished his job in one sentence by saying it's not Lowes problem. You go to the manufacturer. I simply told him I am not satisfied with the answer he is giving me. He walked away while I was still talking to him. At this point my husband got mad and said 'we are still talking to you buddy' and he mumbled something and kept walking. I didn't want to create a scene, and asked for the store manager. Guess what? No store manager made an appearance. But they had the item in stock and could replace it. When I went to check where he got the item from, it was from a previously opened box which was probably returned by someone and still could be faulty. By now, we had wasted two days and I was almost in tears and exhausted, needless to say stressed out. After all this, I still don't know if the replacement part they gave me is working or not. I have to wait for the plumber to reinstall. I am writing to Lowes corporate office and the store manager after posting it here. They are supposed to be a customer service store and should not have customers facing staff who have no manners or training in customer dealings. I could not believe the expressionless woman was a manager. If these are the types of people working as managers, one can only imagine the staff...... We will never forget how rudely we were treated by Lowe's staff. We will not be going back again!!! We will escalate this complain to corporate office.

Part of the order was to be shipped and the other 2 items were in store pick-up only (could not be shipped). So I waited expecting the order to arrive, just like with any other store. But no emails arrived. No messages. No calls. Then one week later, part of the order was simply just cancelled. No reason given. No way to get in touch with customer service and no way to ascertain any order updates. Got their online so called Toll Free Number in the order cancellation email they sent me, turns out that number is NOT IN SERVICE. An official toll-free customer service number, attached to all their emails for everyone to call... was not in service. Great! Not to be deterred, I initiated an online chat with their customer service reps, waited for 45 minutes to speak to someone. The agent "Jennifer S" was somewhat helpful but could neither provide me with any order updates, nor could she directly cancel my order from her end. Had to call the store. The store would not pick-up. waited for another 45 minutes. Still no mojo. By now, I have expended 1.5 hours simply trying to get someone (either at the official customer service center or one of their stores) to simply CANCEL my entire order because I am tired of waiting and talking. But guess what, they can't even do that... The agent takes their time to reply back and angrily harps at me, each time I ask for an update. So for my 2 cents... Do yourself a favour and stay away from this company! You'll thank me later...
