Then when I got to see Dr. Walter Humann, who only took about 3 minutes time with me and when he asked me a question, I was cut off before finishing my sentence. He was late getting in to see me because I heard him with the patience next door talking for 15 minutes about the FIFA soccer games, I get it, I enjoyed the conversation too even though I was just eavesdropping through the paper thin walls and I figured he would be in a better mood than his front desk staff person was since the convo with his patient was going so well. He was quick, seemed like he didn't care, and I felt just like a number and from the looks of my bill, I just paid his car payment (or maybe half a car payment, depending on his car). The audiologist Dr. Kelly Briley doesn't smile like she does in her pics, I felt like she was also wishing I wasn't there. She was cold, distant, even though I really liked her office, it was warm and inviting and I told her this, no response. After I paid my bill, made a follow up appointment and I had to deal with the same front desk person that checked me in and as she was checking me out, I asked her if she had the correct pharmacy on file for the script that Dr. Humann ordered and she said she did, but how could she since I didn't put it on my paperwork so I asked her to read it out to me to confirm and of course, it was wrong, so I gave her the right address and she got mad, and said "that is what I said" and her voice sounded so angry and evil that I just grabbed my bag and got out of there. Then, I get a call from my pharmacy, the script was called in incorrectly and they were letting me know they contacted the Dr. Humann's office to get it fixed. That was good and I waited, and waited, two days later, my pharmacy told me to call them since they are not getting a response, so I called, left a voice mail and it has been 3 weeks, no response to the pharmacy or myself. I decided to just ask my PCP to fill the script since I would not ever be going back to this office again. Please find a better ENT office, if you can, because this office, does not care about the patient, only the very expensive fees they charge for less than 15 minutes of service.

He SUPER down to earth and does a thorough physical exam. I have been suffering from thyroid symptoms for about 4 years. Been to several doctors and none of them could help me. My symptoms got to a point where I thought I was dying. Was having heart palpitations, EXTREME hair loss, excessive fatigue, random sore spots and bruises on my body, vision issues, rapid weight gain, anxiety off the charts (couldn't get more than 4 hours of sleep to save my life)- you name it. None of the prior doctors could tell me what was happening. And after a while, I believe that they started to disregard my complaints- EVEN after I did my research and TOLD them what I thought was going on. Dr. Launius LISTENED to me- and for the first time in years I didn't feel like the doctor thought I was crazy. After he completed the physical exam- he pretty much assured me the help that I needed. He also said that he would get my hair to stop falling out (as it was falling out by the handfuls- and was so bad, that for a moment, I actually thought that I might have had cancer). I know- an ignorant thought, but paired with the way that I was feeling in addition to the hair loss- that is the mindset that I was in. THE NEXT DAY... his team called me with the results. Sure enough, my levels were low. I got the prescription and was felling better by the end of the first month. Dropped 10 pounds almost immediately. I'm currently in month two- and guess what? For the first time in 4 years, I was able to comb out and wash my hair without any of it coming out. I'm ecstatic! I know hair seems like a small vain thing to most people, but when you start to lose it, it really messes with your confidence. My hair is pretty thin now, and is way shorter than it was 4 years ago- but at least I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I'm excited for progress and my new hair journey. To top it all off, I feel great. I've never appreciated my health more than I do now. I'm so thankful to have run across Dr. Lanius- a REAL health professional. Just referred my mom and best friend who are having many of the same symptoms. If you are possibly experiencing issues with your thyroid, PLEASE.. go see Dr. Lanius. I have now driven from Irving to this clinic twice in the past two weeks, only to be told both times that my appointment had been canceled -- with no explanation given and no prior notification. Each visit cost me a day of work, plus hours spent calling my employer's HR department and my insurance company to confirm my coverage. Both confirmed everything was accurate and active. The problem was never on my end. What makes this worse is that the clinic seemed to place the blame on me for their own cancellations, rather than taking any accountability or offering a solution. I understand that schedules change and issues come up, but canceling appointments last minute without notice and then pointing the finger at the patient is not acceptable -- especially for someone trying to establish a new patient relationship. I've lost time, wages, and patience over this. If you're new to the area and looking for a reliable primary care provider, I'd strongly recommend looking elsewhere. My experience with Dr. Pandit and his staff was extremely disappointing. During my first visit, I…read morecame prepared with my blood results from my PCP, which I had already emailed to his office prior to the appointment. When Dr. Pandit came in, he asked where my thyroid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results were - which made it clear that neither he nor his staff had thoroughly reviewed my labs. My thyroid results were clearly included in what I sent. Despite that, I proceeded with the visit. Later that same week, I called his staff to follow up and asked them to review my blood work again. They told me they would submit a request to my PCP to get all my results, even though I had already provided them. When I checked in the following week, they said they still hadn't heard back from my PCP. By that point, I had already received my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results and wanted to send those over as well. I repeatedly asked the staff to review my original blood work because my thyroid results were already there, but they kept brushing me off. After several calls, they finally reviewed it and admitted that my thyroid results were indeed included. I then asked them to confirm whether the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results I was about to submit were the correct ones Dr. Pandit needed to review before my next visit -- because he had specifically mentioned that he needed to see those results before proceeding. Instead of helping, two different nursing members raised their voices at me, saying they didn't know because the doctor wasn't in. I politely asked if they could confirm with him later and get back to me, but they both said the doctor "didn't have time for that" and that I would just have to wait until my next visit. I explained that I wanted to be proactive and make sure I had all the necessary labs ready ahead of time, but they dismissed me again, saying the doctor would "probably be fine with it." When I asked if they could review the doctor's notes, they said they didn't have access to them but somehow insisted the doctor already had everything he requested - which felt dismissive, confusing, and inconsistent. The staff's tone and attitude made it clear that my health concerns were not a priority to them. If this is how the staff behaves toward patients, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes with the Doctor. After reading other reviews, it now makes sense why many people have shared similar frustrations - and it's hard not to believe that this office may be buying positive reviews for marketing purposes. My health is my top priority, but it was evident that it isn't theirs. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor or staff who truly care, communicate clearly, or take the time to review patient information properly.

I never feel rushed, and all of my questions are answered. I love that I can also walk in with out an appointment. When I have an appointment of course that is better because I don't have to wait long. As a walk in my wait time depends on how busy they are and I am assuming the patients who have appointments. I have been seen immediately at times as a walk in, and other times it did take a long time. I was ok with that because at least I didn't have to go to the hospital or wait until I could get an appointment. On Fridays they use to have the staff wearing blue jeans. I loved that. It was part of there casual down to earth atmosphere. However I did not think that this implied that they were not serious about medical culture. I am so sorry that they are no longer having there staff wearing jeans on Fridays. I love this practice. I know that alot of people want everything to be cosmopolitan and chic.
