My first thought was to keep my services at the Frisco location, but my husband and I decided to try Rockwall EYECARE. That was a big mistake. These folks are terrible. They overcharge you and try to make u pay for the extras ur insurance company covers. They tried to charge me $240 for two boxes of contacts and $368 for four boxes... when I have a $350 allowance towards contacts. I have all extra tests covered and my eye exam at 100%. I returned the unopened boxes of contacts. I took my prescription and went back to my old EYECARE location in Frisco. I paid $110 for four boxes of contacts and also received a contact lens vendor rebate. When you try to tell them you have had the same benefits for years and never paid that much, they get rude and show lack of customer service. They even tried to overcharge my husband for his contacts and also told him that the extra services were not covered... and we have the exact same insurance. The doctor was amazing. However, the front desk was not knowledgeable and rude. The management was even worse. I totally recommend shopping around... they are definitely overcharging customers. If I could give the 0 Stars, I would!

I called back and asked a few more questions later, and the woman who answered got snippy again, and repeatedly told me that my mother should just call. I am 23 years old. I scheduled the appointment. If they have no problem with me asking questions about a wellness visit, sharing shot record information, telling me her patient status (which was wrong in their system, which if I hadn't corrected, would have cost almost an additional $30 for her visit), etc, then why not answer why she has to have a well check? The office manager, Amie Ramirez, is no better. I was told that never, under any circumstances whatsoever, will a doctor talk to a patient or patient guardian outside of an office visit. Why have a doctor that, if there's an emergency and I call, won't speak to me or anyone else? When I said that the nurse, Melissa, hadn't called me back in WEEKS, she started defending her, and said I had to send call logs before even starting to file the complaint because, and I quote, "She's been Dr. Pasceo's nurse for over 20 years and there's never been a problem". I got a phone call from the office as I was on the phone with the office manager, but haven't until today when I've been leaving voicemails since the 6th? It's the 29th. When I originally called to schedule the appointment, the lady who answered the phone told me that they had several open appointments since they haven't been seeing as many patients because parents are worried about bringing their kids in due to COVID, but I now I wonder if it's because of COVID, or because of how poorly they treat their patients. All of this is a shame, because Dr. Pasceo was very nice when we went in before, but the rest of the staff ruins the office, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
