I had been chronically ill with bacterial sinusitis for most of my adult life, but Dr. Baxter was the FIRST physician to address my immune-deficient disorder (which I did not know I had) & then start treatment. Needless to say I have been symptom free of bacterial sinusitis for the last several years, which has greatly changed the quality of my life. The quality of care I receive from Dr. Baxter is among the best. She does NOT rush when she comes into the exam room and she takes an extensive history. AND the treatment plan she develops with my input, is quiet comprehensive & involves taking care of my home environment. I also want to commend Dr. Baxter's staff who are professional and treat you like family. The front desk have ALWAYS greeted me with a big smile & hello. The back office staff demonstrate professionalism and show genuine concern for my well - being. Being a patient of Dr. Baxter means the staff calls me when it's time for an appointment so I don't have to remember. I have referred several friends and family to Dr. Baxter. read more

Dr Baxter is a top-notch Doctor and expert on treating Primary Immunodeficiencies. She is recommended on the IDF website and I'm so glad I made the switch to her. My previous Immunologist was unsure of how to diagnose my unusual case, but she spent lots of time with me, diagnosed me that day, and I was on IVIG treatments within weeks. Some of the nurses were really kind and helpful, but the front desk was very difficult to work for with billing. Whoever called to confirm my appointment told me the correct information about my copay, but when I showed up for the appointment, the front desk had my insurance information wrong and claimed they had no idea who called and told me the copay amount I was originally told. I knew the payment information they now had didn't look right, but when I asked them to call my provider and double check the info, they didn't call and insisted they were right. I called my provider on my own, and sure enough, the original copay info I was provided over the phone was right. It was frustrating that such a simple fix could've resolved the issue much quicker if they'd simply made a quick phone call. Also, during my appointment, Dr. Baxter be appeared to be using some sort of AI program that was recording or possibly just transcribing everything said during my appointment. I've never been to a doctor that's done that before, and I strongly believe a doctor should ask first before recording an appointment, which Dr. Baxter did not. I didn't have a horrible experience with this provider, but I'm honestly not sure why this office has such a high rating online. read more

I am glad I chose to make an appointment with her office because I've visited with 2 allergy specialists in the past and this was by far the most informative appointment I've had. After attending here for just about 2 years, I'm tired of all the waiting I have to do to get my shots and see the doctor. I go every 2-3 weeks for allergy shots and they made me go to an appointment to see the doctor to get simple allergy pills. I understand there are laws about this, but in order to get my allergy pills, I had to wait 55 minutes to see the doctor and there was no apology about being late. She simply wanted to prescribe me more medicine after I told her that my goal was to get off all medicine. The staff doesn't care, is negligent with their serum and allergy shots, and if I hadn't just been forced to pay $865 for ANOTHER serum (which I was NOT told would be $865), then I'd be running to another doctor quickly. read more

This was my first appointment with Dr. Baxter and it was well worth it. I've been going through allergy symptoms for a while now and finally decided to get an allergy test. I found her on my insurance portal and saw the great reviews on her, which led to my decision of choosing this office. That choice was a great one because she is super nice and informative. Setting up the first appointment was such a headache. First time I called they asked for my insurance info to first confirm applicability and pricing. After not hearing back from them I called back and asked them to verify if the Doctor could prescribe a certain medication in order to confirm it would be the right place to go. She was open to my concerns and suggestions as well. She made several suggestions and recommendations and we have a plan in place. I have never had any issues here. I came from an allergist in Northwest Arkansas and they seemed to have a much more streamlined shot process using ids and scanners. This office is just a sign in. No real complaints though. Once the doctor mentioned she offered pensions to her nurses, I knew Dr. Baxter was a great person. Great doctor, but just an old office. read more

Dr. Baxter is fine this is more about her staff and office operations. Was disappointed the actual doctor didn't evaluate my allergy scratch and shot tests. It was done by Mary, an older nurse. The doctor, when looking at the photo results of the tests that are printed out on regalia paper and not very clear, seemed to find more reactions than nurse Mary, but was never confirmed. I still don't feel very clear on what I'm actually allergic to. Mary ruptured my vein when taking my blood, forgot to take my vitals before my allergy testing and, anytime I get a shot from her, it bruises and is sore. Doesn't hurt with any other nurses. They weren't clear on how much shots would cost. When I called to ask how much shots were, with my insurance they said it would be $11 per shot. When I showed up for my first shot, they said I had a $498 balance which is what it costs for the actual serum that goes into the shots. This is separate from the cost per shot. It should be a best practice to review this with patients when pitching the idea of shots so they are not caught off guard. There's another allergy office in Dallas I heard of afterwards who offers shots on Saturdays. If you work full time and this is important to you, you may want to check out Dallas Allergy and Asthma Center. Have a coworker who sees them and has had a good experience. read more

Best allergist in Dallas! My family and I absolutely love Dr.Baxter and her staff. Everyone is always so kind and Dr.Baxter goes above and beyond with her patients. When I wasn't feeling good for awhile, and many doctors told me I was fine, she worked with me and didn't give up until we found the answer to why I had been feeling so crumby. I always feel so welcomed by the staff and notice how they make it a point to remember all the patients names and little things about them. It definitely makes going to the doctors office much more enjoyable. I would recommend Dr.Baxters office to anyone looking for an allergist. read more

I chose Dr. Baxter after asking my PCP for a list of allergists in the area. She was one of three and easily stood out. Her website answered all my major questions before I even made an appointment. They provide all their patient forms electronically so I could complete and submit prior to arrival, saving me time. In-take was a smooth process and they were extremely thorough. Poor customer service. I had an allergy test appointment that I had to cancel since I found out I was on a medication that had anti-histamine in it. I spoke with someone at the office several days before to cancel; however, they never cancelled the appointment and refused to consider that I might be telling the truth about the cancellation even though they had notes in the computer that suggested otherwise. They refused to see me without first paying a $150 cancellation fee. read more
