You know how you suddenly think of a new crafting hobby then maybe or maybe not do it after getting all the supplies. Today I was in the mood for cross stitching, something I was really good at in childhood and never attempted recently. It seems like fun fall pastime. And so, I found myself at a local Michael's in Beachwood. STORE: The store is very clean and well stocked. Everything is meticulously organized. It's really impressive. I also found it to be very well lit so you can inspect all your craft finds. I was looking for a cross stitch kit but also found a lot of embroidery kits. No designs really worked for what I wanted - something nature-y. But there were some fun ones - cafes, pasta, and more. Cross stitch kits seem to be phasing out, but here they are between $11-20, not a bad value. The store is full of seasonal stuff - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You can get everything from seasonal plates to nut crackers. I was most into Christmas merry go round. SERVICE: The service is very friendly. I was able to ask an associate on her way to clock in some questions about what I was looking for. She suggested where to find my products, and some alternative finds. So, really really good service. I would come to this store again for my obscure hobbies. Next time I'm planning for more time to look for cross stitch kits and other hobbies I've abandoned years ago.

They selection of items to paint go beyond bears. I was able to choose a bear a bunny and a keychain. The total was very reasonable and gratefully they will be shipping them home to me since I was only there for the weekend. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a new and fun experience while in the Cleveland area.

Attending a Fluid Bear Art class with my wife for a birthday celebration. The owner was on time for…read moreour session and greeted us upon arrival. She had our station set up and advised of additional upgrade canvas options. She gave a thorough review of how the class would run which would be diy and open to all creative aspects. She also had lots of examples around the studio as a guide. All of the supplies were included and there were additional paint and tools available for her to refill during the paining process. Her music selection was amazing. Her prices were very reasonable. It took about two days for our canvas to fully dry. It was packaged up when we went to pick up. Overall we had a wonderful experience and I would absolutely recommend this business and do this experience again! The icing on the cake is that this is a Black Owned Business!!!

I think it's got the right idea, but it doesn't have the right execution. There wasn't enough…read morevintage to call it a vintage shop, and there was enough knickknacks upfront so much so that you could call the place in gift shop to four you could call the place a vintage shop. If I were in the area again, I don't think that I would visit the second time. And I wouldn't recommend visiting our first if you are interested in a Vintage shop, chock-full of vintage and stocked with a lot of styles and options.

The selection of yarn and material is great but the last few times I've come here the service has…read morebeen pretty poor. I feel like the employees aren't very invested in helping you and if you ask a a question it feels like a burden on them. I had called to inquire about store hours and let them know that I had come by during their listed hours but the closed sign was up and they told me there's no way that had happened. Additionally, I purchase some interchangeable needles and the price that rung up was higher than the sticker price. I hadn't noticed until I got home, so then I went back to the store a couple days later with the stickers still on there. They told me it was because of the tariffs, which I completely understand, but better customer service would honor the price that was listed on the item. They also made it feel as though it was my fault for not knowing the prices had increased (I don't live in Cleveland, so I only come to shop when I'm in town to see family). Overall, I've had multiple recent experiences with the shop that were unpleasant. I'm disappointed since the selection is nice, but given the service I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
