It's a magical store that I wish I had to play at growing up. I can only describe it as an immersion into the pages of a fairytale, it's that cute of an aesthetic. You'll see when you visit! Store: The store has two whimsical levels. The first level often has handmade decorations or twinkly lights. The second level has a gorgeous city mural. There is plenty of natural light. There is sufficient room for the kids to play on the second level and also shop. You can also linger outdoors at dainty tables. Merchandise: The store sells toys for boys and girls of various ages. From dinosaur games to doll houses, you'll find so many things here. Toys are very high quality and very unique. A lot of toys are European made. There is predominance of wood toys and educational games. You won't find the basic boring and overplayed toys. You simply won't find toys like these anywhere else in the city. I don't have kids but stop by to shop for Christmas kid drive donations. It's always so pleasant to shop here and tap into my inner child. I feel that the prices are very fair considering the quality of the merchandise. They also sometimes have great sales. Service: The owner Mariah and the team at S'il Vous Play are such lovely people. Kind, attentive, and always welcoming. Events: The toy shop offers birthday parties. I can't think of a more magical location to host one to be honest. And the location is so photogenic! Many moms I have met in the community had a lovely experience with birthdays here. The toy shop is very involved with the community and you'll find them at various events. Bring the kids to the Heights Music Hop in the fall for music and fun. Look at the store's social media for more happenings. For moms and non-moms, there are monthly women's circles hosted by the Little Scraps of Magic. The circles include tea, conversation, sound bath, and a space for womanhood. I mostly visit the store for these circles and they are soul medicine. They allow you to check out the store, tap into your inner child, and connect with local women. Parking: Parking is available onsite, it's free. Overflow parking is right next door. I can't recommend this store enough. It's just so beautiful, well designed, and filled with treasure. I highly recommend shopping here for your kids, your loved ones' kids, and checking out events. It's a true gem!

I have tried several times to like this shop, but after today, I'm giving up. I stopped here…read morebecause I have a passport for the 2025 Yarn Discovery Tour, and for reasons unknown to me, they are one of the shops on the tour. When I got there, the woman who I believe is the owner was sitting on a bench outside the shop, dragging on a cigarette. She scowled at me as I walked past her through the door. Upon entering, I tried to make eye contact with another employee who was sitting in the back of the store. She did return my glance, but then frowned and looked away. She continued her phone conversation, which was apparently more important than greeting a customer or offering customer service. I walked around the store for a few minutes, but then the lady outside finished her cigarette and scowled at me again as she walked back into the store. That was the last straw, and that shop's last chance to have me as a customer. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last yarn shop on earth.

The business is locally owned and has an appealing inventory. Customer service was cheerful, and the owner patiently explained reasons for the check out issues I faced. Someone is using their shop name for fraud. 5 STARS for the real business. FAKE -- The jkgiftshop.com online site is reported to be fake. It seems scammers post items for sale which don't really exist in an attempt to lure in unsuspecting customers to shop the fake site vs. the real store. The checkout process fails, but your credit card information has already been exposed and potentially hijacked. I learned about this when I contacted the brick and mortar stores to report I'd been unable to complete my online purchase. Turns out, I'd landed on the fake website which the shop owner saaid they'd been trying to have taken down without success for quite some time. 1 STAR due to the scam site. END RESULT -- Soon after being lured to the fake site, I began seeing fraudulent charges on my credit card. I've had to get a new card and update wallet info "everywhere". Huge waste of my time, and upsetting, too. Scammers didn't get my money, but did steal my time, peace of mind, and overall sense of security. I can only imagine how the business owners feel as they're being scammed daily. So wrong!

I always assumed it was more of a bird and nature specialty store. Don't get me wrong, they have a plethora of birding and gardening supplies if that's a passion for you, but, ahh, it is so much more than that! Wildlife Garden makes me want to buy a house with a huge yard, just so I can start a garden and decorate it. Some things I loved: + Beautiful little gifts. Of all types. I purchased the most adorable little pieces of art that had a small bird holding a sign that reads, "A little bird told me today will be beautiful." + Pet stuff that isn't tacky, especially the ceramic statues as well as the pet memorial items (which are very hard to find). + Unique garden decor. I adored the awesome solar-powered glass-blown(?) flowers that collect light during the day and light up at night. + Fun cards and they do beautiful, free gift-wrapping. You can do everything all at one time! + Gorgeous windchimes and another artisan decor. Just stop by with nothing in mind, and explore! If you're even remotely into buying people gifts (like me, I love buying my friends and family little presents for no reason), have a garden, or a patio, stop in and look around. My biggest complaint about the store is the 'stuffy' atmosphere when you first walk in. There were two women working and I felt like they were staring everyone down in the store the whole time and not in an eager to help way. Aside from that, I got some really great fabric remnants and a couple other nice items and the prices were totally reasonable. I think this store is geared more toward and older crowd, but has a good variety of items.

Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

Friendly service and something for EVERYONE! Men and Women can both find fun stuff here!! Had something for every popular tv show, sports team and occasion. I don't think you understand how much I LOVE finding new-to-me bookstores…read more I was in the area for a market and I wondered around the area. My subconscious knew and it led me to this place. It's not a terribly large bookstore but it has all of the basic categories you'd expect and I'd say they're pretty well-stocked in those categories. From what I saw there weren't really secondhand books but so it goes. Did I come out with books? Of course I did.

Or vice versa, take your coffee you just bought and browse books lol. It's inside on old house that's nice and cozy. It can be a bit crowded in holiday seasons due to lack of space. I do want to mention that this book shop and the whole downtown reminds me of Gilmore Girls in the winter time!
