Very classy restaurant everything was top notch. We went Thursday night for the pasta and salad…read morespecial and it was out of this world. The salad was arugula, endive, radlcchio, red wine vinaigrette and parmigiano reggiano. Nice light salad. The pasta was tagliatelle with pork sausage, San marzano tomato, cream and parmigiano reggiano. The pasta was so light and the bowl was the perfect size. If it could not get any better we had the Zeppole Di San Giuseppe for dessert so fresh and delicious! Our server was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. This place is worth trying.

We both had a green salad "Bill's Lettuces" to start, it was only OK. Lettuce and a few cukes with some "herb" dressing. I had the "Syrian Spiced Cauliflower" -- unimpressive. The muhumara it was resting on was good (and I usually don't like red peppers), the rest was not. My wife had the dry "Square Roots Farm Chicken" -- not much more to say. She liked the braised arrowhead cabbage. The presentation of all the dishes was nothing special. My desert, the Chocolate Pistachio Budino, was somewhere between a pot de creme and a flour-less torte. meh. My wife's "Sour Cream Cake" wouldn't win the Bake Off. We dined the night before at The Four Chimneys in Bennington. The bill was almost identical, but the food at The Four Chimneys was much much better.

After a hard-core day of riding dirt, mud, trails and backroads our group of hard-core bikers…read morescurried into this establishment for a few scoops of frozen heaven. The first thing that caught our dirt Filled eyes was the unique candy selection on the wall. Stuff I have not seen since I was a child.: (Not that I am old). Next my eyes focused on the digital menu board that displayed the plethora of scrumptious choices of their homemade ice cream. Halfway through the menu a little bit of drool was dripping on the floor from my Saliva glands making my mouth water profusely. So many delicious choices, I had to find out what was the biggest and baddest of their selections. It turns out to be the banana split served in a tub. This 55 gallon drum look alike was filled with bananas, three different kinds of ice cream, chocolate syrup, other toppings, whip cream and cherry! Oh my goodness..... I think my head is going to explode.... ....good thing I am wearing a motorcycle helmet. That mess would not be pretty in such a beautiful store. After Ripping my wallet from my pants, I cheerfully paid then rushed to Carry the payload of ice cream out to the picnic tables across the street by the stream. After enjoying the beautiful view of the stream and the babbling brook, I Wielded a plastic spoon like a samurai wields his sword, slicing into the frozen cream with expert precision. The whip cream, chocolate and flavored ice cream I had ordered all culminated in an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I think I let out a little scream of ecstasy as it slid down my throat. There is nothing like homemade ice cream to get you excited for the next bite. I probably gained 2 pounds from eating this enormous treat that was Prepared with love. But it's worth every pound I might gain. Shortly thereafter it was time to get back on the motorcycle and ride a few more mountain tops. The sun was warm and starting to get an orange tint as it was contemplating setting in a couple hours. The warm wind was blowing the leaves ever so slightly, the Mountain tops were screaming my name like a lost child screams for their parents at the mall. What a great day, what a great ice cream store, what a place to Stop!

I've supported Cravings for a long time, but after my recent experiences, I feel incredibly…read moredisappointed and disrespected as a customer. I tried one of the new $14 salads--no protein, just lettuce, a few veggies, and a so-called "homemade" Italian dressing. I genuinely enjoyed the dressing and asked for the recipe three times out of curiosity. On the third time, I was told she wouldn't share it--but would be willing to sell it to me. That response rubbed me the wrong way. In today's economy, that kind of cold and transactional reply from a small business I've supported feels off-putting and greedy. On top of that, I tried a "tiramisu cookie" that had no coffee flavor, no mascarpone, nothing that even remotely resembled tiramisu. It tasted like a plain sugar cookie, and honestly, it felt like false advertising. If you're going to market something as tiramisu, it should at least reflect the flavors of what you're promising. Between that and the secretive dressing situation, I can't help but question whether the dressing is even homemade--or if it's just bottled and marked up. These experiences have made me lose trust in the brand and what it claims to represent. I won't be returning.

I needed some cannolis and looked up online local bakeries…read more lake George was closed so while I was in Saratoga I searched and found Ms Londons Took the chance, in winter sometimes I worry bc it's sort of off-season but I stopped by and luckily they did have them! It was for a birthday I made cannoli cake but didn't want to make the actual cannolis to save time but wanted a higher quality version than price chopper I also got a latte and it was very good- nice and hot (some places they're kinda cooler) The service was great a woman with short brown hair helped me & made the latte. It was a very cute cafe /bakery and idk if they make their desserts but if they do- great job! Im happy either way and the birthday boy said the cannolis were perfect.

Both the pecan pastry and the raspberry cheese danish were great! No complaints! Where this place falls right off the cliff is service. It's cold and rude. No if's ands or but's about it. And after my experience, I went and read all the reviews. This is a thing apparently. And to make it worse, the owner, instead of apologizing with humility and concern to the guests that keep him in business instead writes entitled zero accountability messages back to patrons after leaving bad reviews. Honestly that's immature and short sighted. The good will of the public doesn't last forever. But on the other hand, if you desperately miss the rudeness of Europe then this is truly the place for you!
