We took our recently purchased late model RV to Shoreline to get everything checked out, see what…read moreneeded repair or replacement, and fix the generator. We told them we needed it in 20 days or so for a trip. They apparently replaced a lot of parts on the generator but couldn't get it to work before we had to leave for our trip. So who knows whether those parts were necessary. They didn't even start working on the inspection or replacing missing bulbs until the last possible day. They said it was ready to pick up but when we got there, it wasn't. They had just done the inspection and were replacing lights. They identified several things that would have been good to fix, but they didn't have the ability to fix them. It would have been nice if they told us these issues with enough time to take the RV elsewhere to get fixed. They had us waiting at their shop for 2 hours, even until after close, while they finished working on lights. As we sat there patiently but getting increasingly perturbed, they eventually gave us a Bass Pro Shop giftcard and said they hoped we'd leave them a good review. The next morning when we set off for our trip, we no longer had interior battery power at all, and would continue to have no battery power until we finally got it fixed at a competitor. That meant no interior lights at all while we drove. We paid Shoreline over $2000 and basically all we had to show for it was a few fixed exterior lights, and few new generator parts for a generator that still didn't run, and a broken electrical system for our cross-country trip. Epic waste of money. Instead of bribing customers with a $25 Bass Pro Shop card, they should try improving their service, hiring mechanics who can fix generators (or declining to work on them), and not waiting until the very last hours to do a job. We will not be going back and have luckily found another place to take our RV for service.

He repeated back everything that I had requested and even made some suggestions that were very helpful. To my surprise he started on the project pretty quickly and kept me updated ( with pictures ) as to the progress of it. That's excellent customer service. Now as to the quality of the project. One word. Excellent. The welds were perfect. I'm big on detail and I looked these tables over from top to bottom. Quality material, measurements were precise, and well balanced. I'm more than pleased with everything. It was a great experience all around. I'm definitely going to go directly here for all my future metal fabrication needs. I saved the question/answer about price for last, because quality of work comes first. The price was very reasonable and the quality of work will show for a lifetime. That's a "win" all the way around.

We were first time boaters and everything was completely new to us. Sebastian took us out on the water twice and gave the most professional instruction ever. He really prepared us. There website did not suggest you had to have an appointment so I loaded up the mower and drove a half hour, arriving around 4:30 PM on a Thursday. There were three or four cars in the parking lot and no noticeable service bay entrance. I called to make sure I was in the right place for Cub Cadet riding mower service and that they were actually open for business. A guy answered and explained they would open the back receiving door after I came in to their service/sales counter. Great, open and in the right place! As soon as I walked in, with no other customers in the large showroom, a gentleman behind the counter asked how he could help. I caught the eye of other guy I must have spoken with a few minutes before and I said something to the effect "I just called and need to drop off my riding mower for service." The older guy immediately said they could not take my mower in today. I asked him if they serviced Cub Cadet riding mowers and he said they did but they could not take it. I was puzzled by his response yet he did not give me any additional information. I hesitated for a minute, then turned to walk out. As I pushed the door open, he finally added that if someone picked up their mower, they could take another one in. WTF? Sounds like they need to update their website to recommend calling first, or submitting a service ticket on line. This was a terrible example of customer service. Is their service attitude an indicator of why their showroom was void of customers? Do they rely heavily on fleet sales and service? Commercial accounts? I don't know. What I do know is I was sincerely disappointed with the first impression from the guy at the counter. I have owned four riding mowers so far (yes, I'm old) and I guarantee this will be the last Cub Cadet. I'm sure they don't care.
