She was just a sweetheart and made our stay feel much more welcomed. The resort is basically brand new and still under construction. We had an RV site and it was leveled and hook ups were easily accessible. The amenities were great! We had access to the pool and hot tub so when the weather was nicer, we were there! The kids loved the jump pad. It was one of their highlights and a great work out for anyone who partakes. There's a small playground for the kiddos which I felt was a little small given that there is so much space available but there are so many other activities to choose from. There's a checker/chess table, which I LOVE! I think every park should have one. There's a group fire pit, a mini golf area, corn hole, etc. Just A LOT! There's a lovely boardwalk to walk to and fish from. When we come back through Houston again, we'll definitely be staying here. Thank you!

I didn't have a whistle which I was told was mandatory if I was going to kayak so Clay let me gave me one. It's less expensive than Ponderosa Marina. They have Kayak and Canoe rentals. They also have a small store and clean restrooms. I highly recommend this place for people to come enjoy any day of the week!!! Holliday Marine took the project at hand and got me back on the water with a new fuel pump, New stator, cleaned out fuel system, New spark plugs and I'm sure a couple other things. I'm happy and pleased with the work that's done, boat runs like very good now. Very good customer service. This guy really knows his Tohatsu motors!

After seeing the ins and outs of this company, and having first hand experience of how they treat customers, employees, people's property, etc. I cannot in good faith recommend this company to anyone. I was very hesitant in making this review, but after being appalled by further discoveries of the company's management this weekend... I can be silent no longer. I lived at the Preserve of Texas in a camper from 2021 to 2023. In 2024 the Preserve of Texas was…read moreflooded with 7 feet of water. To build a house there it has to be on stilts. I reported the management for several violations including not properly inspecting electrical boxes, improper boil water notices, and exposed underground cables. I was retaliated against by the management with eviction and went to court. I would like the public to be aware that the recent property management has been reported for violations. The attached photos are of old roofing materials discarded and left on the ground for weeks near a swimming pool and playground at the Preserve of Texas in August 2023 directly across from my camper's lot. I had my then 7 year old son with me every other week, and the refuse included roofing nails on the ground.
