Lake Cliff Park is a great place if you are trying to find yourself at peace or be surrounded by nature. Great views of the Dallas skyline and also plenty of room to roam around and for dogs to run around with a Lake in the middle. Also in proximity to Downtown. Great for photo shoots and hanging out with family and friends.

My wife and I came here to play tennis (she was teaching me tennis) and we had a blast! There was no one on the court at the time and we had the place to ourselves while I was clumsily learning the sport. The park itself seems very cleaned and used by people enjoying all sorts of activities. Great spot!

Lake Cliff Park is a gorgeous park. They are exaggerating a little with the name Lake but there is a pond and a fabulous view of the beautiful Dallas skyline. This park has 3 pavilions, and it's surrounded by an older neighborhood filled with well kept older homes. This park is great for couples, families, picnics, parties under the pavilion and barbecues. If you haven't been here yet it's definitely worth checking out.

The pineapple fountain is working.

The city of Dallas has plenty of little neighborhood parks. Lake Cliff has been transformed over the past hundred years since residents first moved into the area. With walking paths and a lake with a fountain give enough nature and tranquility to be still appreciated as well as enjoyed. I heard that was a volunteer group that helped with the greenery, but I am not sure if they still offer help. Seeing the pineapple fountain adjacent to Zang Road, up and running is a treat. I have been coming here for the past two years and love this block sized simplistic park all the same, all year through.

Beautiful park with lots of animals. There are many different places to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful view. It is very quiet, even though it is right off the main road. You can sit and enjoy or take a stroll with many turns and fun paths. The only thing that was a little crazy was that the ducks followed us. It looks like people typically feed the ducks and so they follow people expecting food - please don't feed the ducks!

I love this park. I started to come here for walks in the evening recently and loved it I just love the atmosphere, the water the area and the nice view of downtown.

Though very small and delicate, this would the perfect place for photography, read a book, even perhaps some meditation. There is unique stones statues placed here from, Dragons, to gargoyles, angels. The trees are delicately placed, some I have never seen before with many beautiful colors and foliage. I loved it when I came to check it out, many much parking so you may get luck if there is not many people there, which usually there are for taking pictures. It is not a big place, it is very small, but enough to take a nice little stroll and enjoy for whomever made this place available to the public. Note - When we arrived there are sign's at the entrances that say, in order to enter this property you had to call a number that was on the sign and ask for permission first before entering. I did not call, and just walked around admiring the garden as many others did. Though, if you do plan on going, enter at your own risk ( You prob should call and ask for permission first). Sadly I did not take a picture of the sign. I was probably only there 15 minutes at the most to enjoy the whole garden. I'd love to go back with my camera to take some nice pictures sometime. Totally a nice little place to check out if you happen to be in this area.

Couple of figure statues. Big whoop. Not much else going on here. Not really scenic or anythingread more

My last three trips were for this year's Memorial Day activities in support of Carry the Load. This park comes to a new life when there is a large event such as the very noble Carry the Load. Reverchon's beautiful greenery, powerful oaks and gentle rolling meadows are accented with the dark reddish sandstone walls and structures that soothes the soul. It is almost like a slice of Eden.To see this impressive park comfort those grieving as they remember the fallen military, police, fire and other first responders validates its role as a magnanimous friend. It fosters the catharsis and healing needed by many. The trip up and down from the Katy trail (which is high above) can be as challenging as you want to achieve and as beautiful as you want to view. I like the winding stone steps. There are observation terraces, conversation pits, and nature everywhere. It is shielded by quiet Dallas high rises just far enough away. The quiet serenity at night is in contrast to its vibrant life during the day. It retains the natural attraction whether it is a hand full of park goers to over ten thousand. It's great for the dogs, kids and oldtimers like me. There are some sport facilities for the team sport athletes. And of course there are the trails. There is a lack of immediate parking which I think helps retain its natural beauty . There are lots and streets to park if you decide not to go on foot. The adjoining recreation center has all you could want or need. The food and drink options are not too far away and some are world renown. If you need mental cleansing or some quiet reflection, Reverchon Park is the place to stroll.

The views of downtown and all the bridges is something else. You can feel like you're all alone out there, but so close to the action too. As a woman, we always have to be viligant about our surroundings, and I would not come here at night. I've been early in the mornings, when it's still a little dark out, so I usually walk up on the levees. You can see people coming from far away. I ran into an after-hours party one early Saturday, but since a flock camera was installed, I have not seen the kids out there - just people getting their fitness on, or the occasional hobo. I believe the entire trail goes about 4+ miles. When the weather cools off a little, I'll tackle the entire thing. Right now, I am enjoying the solitude and pumping up my music and dancing a little down the trail. If you hear cats screaming - it's just me singing along to Chappel Roan, so don't fear.
