Definitely a pricey indulgence, but it's worth every bite for the experience! We got the vodka cherry cordials, a champagne truffle, their seasonal marzipan, and some assorted slabs of chocolate bark - and they were all pretty sweet, but not overly heavy! I was pleasantly surprised with their alcohol-infused bites as I was hardly able to taste the alcohol, but I was able to feel its presence with each bite. The staff were also pretty friendly in this rather laidback environment, assisting me and my fiancé with whatever questions or curiosities we might have had. Would come back again if I'm in the area!

A remodel the place, way more space, but you don't get to look at the staff making chocolate anymore. Wonderful chocolate bars, come to get the second which are much cheaper. Ice cream is also very underrated, potentially better than Ben and Jerry's

The shop is clean and beautiful. The people working here were so-so but I didn't really need "service" except to pick out my truffles so it was ok. I sometimes like when people are not personable so I don't have to be personable back. The items in here are quite pricey. Tourist trap vibes for sure but we got some items that were pretty tasty and my mom loved the chocolate covered cherries we got her. I wouldn't say to not come in because sometimes you just have to pay a pretty penny for things like this. They wouldn't charge this much if they couldn't. The "seconds" area is great! Discounted items because they aren't "pretty" but they still taste good and that's all that matters.

If you like chocolates this is the spot. The have a large selections of caramels, truffles, and chocolate covered fruits, pretzels and marshmallows. This location has a seconds section for the slightly imperfect chocolates. They also sell ice cream, shakes and coffees. They are a bit pricey, but the chocolate is very good.

I love Lake Champlain Chocolates! They have an on-site store at this location which also serves as their chocolate making facility. Patrons can get a glimpse of the master chocolate artists " in action!" I also love their dedication to the ever changing unique artwork which changes each season. This year I purchased their small valentines chocolate box! In addition, if you cannot visit this site; some of their chocolates are available at Whole Foods Markets-usually near the "checkout counter." The chocolates are also available on their website.

Had a great time on the factory tour! I went back in early March before the world changed and had a nice tour where they taught me all about how chocolate is made, gave samples, and showed me the production area. I bought a bunch of chocolates and loved them all, especially the apple cider filled chocolate (it was a while ago, I don't remember exactly what it was but that was my favorite). I definitely recommend this as a spot for any tourist or visitor to Burlington!

A must stop if in the area, the "seconds" discounted section is where it's at, delicious chocolates with imperfections the lay person cannot even see, at a nice discount! Beautiful chocolates in the glass counter enclosures, truffles of all kinds, and a nice coffee bar in back, nice little story board outside for people with youngsters.

Quaint little shop. They no longer do the tours but that's okay. You can do a self video tour and get your pieces of chocolate.

This is why I highly suggest the factory seconds Truffle Boxes (yes, boxeS) and factory seconds bags of simple Chocolate Squares.

Went into Champlain chocolates and even though it was busy, they got us our orders quickly and…read moreefficiently. Is the place pricey for wha it is, yes, but is it quality chocolate, also yes. I got the small signature hot chocolate which was delightfully rich and delicious. It was so rich, I don't think I could have had a bigger size if I wanted to. I also got a plethora of chocolates to go, I haven't tried them yet, but they look good.

Well, I ordered some chocolate bars with hazelnut praline filling for a Victorian Christmas tea…read morethat I was giving. I was surprised to see that the ingredients included a great deal more than chocolate and hazelnut praline. Actually, I was disappointed because we all know it's difficult to get exquisite chocolate here in the United States, I thought Lake Champlain chocolates were a cut above. I looked at the ingredients after I took a bite of the chocolate with hazelnut praline filling because it did not taste right; it tasted like it had other stuff in it besides high quality chocolate and hazelnut praline filling. I looked at the label and sure enough it has a LOT of other stuff in it that should not be in it. I took a photograph of the front and back of the labels but I don't know if I'll be able to upload it. Before you buy, if you are a purist like me, I recommend you read the labels. At least I can tell you that the ingredients included wheat, soy beans, peanuts, and other things that really shouldn't have been included. I am soooooooooo disappointed. Unfortunately, I shall not be buying any Lake Champlain chocolates anymore because I want to buy the real thing. I don't want to buy American corporate reductionist products that just don't measure up. I am actually very sad ...

The Grey Jay - Grilled Chicken Shawarma wrap - delicious!

The reviews for this establishment were high and who doesn't love fusion middle eastern/ Mediterranean food?! We ordered: -chicken shawarma wrap -greek yogurt with maple rose granola and house made jam (5 stars!!) -single halloumi biscuit with harissa butter Everything tasted good but perhaps the greek yogurt was only worth mentioning. The chicken shawarma was good but I have had way better elsewhere since this is a favorite dish of mine. The halloumi biscuit was underwhelming on its own and overwhelming with the harissa butter adding way too much flavor as well as salt. But, the geeek yogurt parfait was sublime. The greek yogurt was whipped to perfection! The granola was not too sweet and added the perfect compliment to the thick fatty airy yogurt. And the house jam - oh my goodness, how sexy! The jam had chunks of berries and candied ginger. The bill was reasonable and staff during pick up was very pleasant.

Our group of 4 got chicken shawarmas ($16) and one shakshuka ($16). Food wasn't bad - chicken shawarma had good amount of chicken wrapped in a thin and crispy flatbread; and shakshuka was flavorful but eggs were definitely overcooked with hard yolks. Main grip was the portion sizes were very small. They had a variety of baked goods and a large selection of drinks (more than the food options.) Not sure if it was the limited selection ordered, but we weren't impressed by the portion sizes. Attentive staff (our waters were always filled) in a low-key but trendy spot. Overall, not bad for a Mediterranean-inspired place, but I prefer other spots in town for a better value.
