Definitely a pricey indulgence, but it's worth every bite for the experience! We got the vodka cherry cordials, a champagne truffle, their seasonal marzipan, and some assorted slabs of chocolate bark - and they were all pretty sweet, but not overly heavy! I was pleasantly surprised with their alcohol-infused bites as I was hardly able to taste the alcohol, but I was able to feel its presence with each bite. The staff were also pretty friendly in this rather laidback environment, assisting me and my fiancé with whatever questions or curiosities we might have had. Would come back again if I'm in the area!

A remodel the place, way more space, but you don't get to look at the staff making chocolate anymore. Wonderful chocolate bars, come to get the second which are much cheaper. Ice cream is also very underrated, potentially better than Ben and Jerry's

The shop is clean and beautiful. The people working here were so-so but I didn't really need "service" except to pick out my truffles so it was ok. I sometimes like when people are not personable so I don't have to be personable back. The items in here are quite pricey. Tourist trap vibes for sure but we got some items that were pretty tasty and my mom loved the chocolate covered cherries we got her. I wouldn't say to not come in because sometimes you just have to pay a pretty penny for things like this. They wouldn't charge this much if they couldn't. The "seconds" area is great! Discounted items because they aren't "pretty" but they still taste good and that's all that matters.

If you like chocolates this is the spot. The have a large selections of caramels, truffles, and chocolate covered fruits, pretzels and marshmallows. This location has a seconds section for the slightly imperfect chocolates. They also sell ice cream, shakes and coffees. They are a bit pricey, but the chocolate is very good.

I love Lake Champlain Chocolates! They have an on-site store at this location which also serves as their chocolate making facility. Patrons can get a glimpse of the master chocolate artists " in action!" I also love their dedication to the ever changing unique artwork which changes each season. This year I purchased their small valentines chocolate box! In addition, if you cannot visit this site; some of their chocolates are available at Whole Foods Markets-usually near the "checkout counter." The chocolates are also available on their website.

Had a great time on the factory tour! I went back in early March before the world changed and had a nice tour where they taught me all about how chocolate is made, gave samples, and showed me the production area. I bought a bunch of chocolates and loved them all, especially the apple cider filled chocolate (it was a while ago, I don't remember exactly what it was but that was my favorite). I definitely recommend this as a spot for any tourist or visitor to Burlington!

A must stop if in the area, the "seconds" discounted section is where it's at, delicious chocolates with imperfections the lay person cannot even see, at a nice discount! Beautiful chocolates in the glass counter enclosures, truffles of all kinds, and a nice coffee bar in back, nice little story board outside for people with youngsters.

Quaint little shop. They no longer do the tours but that's okay. You can do a self video tour and get your pieces of chocolate.

This is why I highly suggest the factory seconds Truffle Boxes (yes, boxeS) and factory seconds bags of simple Chocolate Squares.

A no laptop policy keeps things flowing and encourages folks to talk vs work. Breakfast menu is available all day while lunch starts at 11 and goes until close at 3p. We tried a few things: * croissant - super flaky and perfectly made. * breakfast sandwich - with sausage. Buttery and crispy edges toast with fried egg and melted cheese with sausage. One of my favorite breakfast sandwiches ever. * banner eighteen - a play on cheesesteak with broccoli mushrooms and shaved steak in a sesame hogie. This one had slight spice and a slight taste reminiscent of a combination pizza. It's a big sandwich and quite tasty. * oatmeal raisin cookie - not too sweet which I loved. Chewy. * fresh baquette. Bread . . . . . * maple lemonade - slightly sweet with a good bit of tartness. It was good! I'd definitely comeback here if I'm craving some sandwiches

We tried the eat the east breakfast sandwich ($11) and the vermonter sandwich ($16). I especially liked the vermonter sandwich and the bread it came on. The cafe also sells various bread items and baked goods. One thing to note is that since the cafe is counter-serve, seating is also first come first serve. We were able to snag a seat right as someone left, but for that reason I would recommend coming at a less peak time if able. August First is deservedly a busy spot in Burlington and I would be there often if I were a local.
