Ummmm, most customers seemed to be ordering chicken or beef options and there was a steady stream of customers for dine in and take out. For us, we don't eat meat so the cod (with an almost $5 upcharge) was unexpected and disappointing. One positive double corn tortillas served with the cod tacos unless you prefer flour. Fish tacos are great but QUESADILLAS were the best, guac on the side so it doesn't get warm is my preference. These guys are making fresh guacamole and it's undeniable because it tastes so good. I really love Lake Burrito. During the pandemic, I was introduced to them during a Yelp Elite Meal and fell in love with their street tacos. I finally got to sit inside, and the vibe was a more fun Chiptole. Their prices are a little high, and their product almost does not reflect the price. I would recommend they offer other sides besides cheese and chips, yet their queso is delicious. Customer service is excellent, and there is always the option to buy the merch. Mucho Good Vibes are all over this place. Do not miss it just passed Kroger on exit 17 off 400 up the hill in an empty parking lot. Sometimes their catering trailer is outside to help. read more

I am o-fish-ally hooked! Lake Burrito has THE best fish tacos I've ever had! What's even better is that they use wild caught cod instead of tilapia like most places. Because of Covid-19, their dining room is closed and the entrance is blocked off. However, they have a nice little self-serve setup outside that enforces social distancing. You place your order and pay using their device. They call out your name and hand you your order through the door when it's ready. Limited but friendly human interaction. Easy peasy! I ordered the following: Fish tacos (2) $10.15 Chicken burrito $7.50 Swag (t-shirt) $22 My order was ready in under ten minutes, if not under five! I rushed home and immediately stuffed my face. Both entrees came with chips and a side of salsa. The tacos and burrito were both stuffed. Plenty of protein and loaded with toppings. They don't skimp here. My son loved his burrito. He can eat a lot, but couldn't finish it in one sitting. He enjoyed his leftovers the next day. LB also sells these really cool shirts that say, "mucho good vibes y'all" and I couldn't resist. Visited on a Sunday afternoon after trying to make it here for a while! They close at 3 pm on Sundays. I tried the veggie burrito which was 9.25 + tax. They do not have tofu/ beyond meat as a vegetarian protein option- this would be a nice menu item add! Overall, it was a good burrito and the free chips and salsa were good! First I must say that the staff was very pleasant and that is a welcome change from the norm. I ordered a pork burrito to go, they include free chips and salsa with this, which is a bonus in my book. The staff station to make your burrito is very similar to Chipotle. They have pretty much the same fixings as well but they do have some different meat options. I got the pork with pineapple and it was pretty tasty. This was pork chunks, not shredded, with tidbits of pineapple in a marinade of some sort. A nice place to sit down (inside or out) and have some great food, the staff is welcoming. You walk up to the counter to place your order and drinks are self-service unless getting a bottled drinks. I think one area of improvement would be in the salsa department. I'm one of those odd folks who can't stand the taste of cilantro and for many places that's a staple item in the salsa. Found this location that's about 10 mins from my home and the reviews were great. I went in still biased as sometimes yelp reviews be full of folk with no palette! Place is in a small strip plaza...unassuming cute spot. Walked in and was immediately greeted very warmly. I chose to get the Taco Salad with seasoned ground beef. I initially asked for double meat and the nice lady who was taking care of my order spooned up a TON of meat and said "this is one order of the meat". Chile I laughed in delight and opted for just the regular helping. Today I was being FAT...but not FAT FAT if ya know what I mean. Needless to say...everything was fresh and hot and when I got home I did a whole cha cha slide while eating my "salad"!! It was absolutely delicious!!! Love the burritos here! Great vibe and food quality with healthy options. Chipotle style but so so much better! We have eaten here only once. We would love to give you more business and another star, but the past 4 times(not exaggerating) we have come you are closed. Closed at 3 on Saturdays then closed on Sunday and Mondays and closed between 3-5 other days does not seem like a big deal to most but it apparently does to us. Too hard to remember!
