Because Dr. Leonard is probably the most generous doctor with her time that I've ever…read moreexperienced. --- --- --- We have been bringing our son here for over a year and the only negative for us has been the commute. There aren't really any pediatricians within 20 minutes of us, so we chose Wright when we first moved here because it was the closest of the bunch. Every time we've been, we've seen Dr. Leonard and she always comes across as more of a therapist for us as parents, than a doctor. Don't get me wrong, she does everything on the doctor-front too. But our son has had a lot of behavioral and developmental issues, and Dr. Leonard patiently sits and listens to us vent. She never seems like she's in any hurry to move on to her next appointment, which usually leads to more venting from us. I usually walk out of there feeling bad for hogging all of her time, but it kind of flies when you're a frustrated parent and someone with some expertise is willing to listen and give advice. At any rate, we will continue coming here until we either move away or our son hits an age where it's embarrassing for him to continue to go to a pediatrician.

How we I was told so many good things about Dr. Suhendra and i had to choose her. When we had our first appointment, she was so calming and reassuring and it was everything that we needed at that point as new parents. I just recently went to my 4mos appt with my baby, and as always her staff is very professional and courteous. She is always able to answer all of my questions with complete answers and with clarity. Finally found First Physicians and loved the place during our first visit. Dr. Beaty is amazing. He takes time in knowing his patients, you are not rushed neither are you to leave the facility feeling diminished. There's no experimentation is any of his treatments, he is to the point and will call you on what you shouldn't be doing. He gives his best and expects his patients to follow through, otherwise, what's the point in seeking his medical advise and consult if neither patients/parents heeds to his advise. He has an excellent sense of humour! We love visiting this place I recommend to this facility and the treating physicians in this practice. I will recommend

Dr Kelly Sullivan is HORRIBLE. If this review was based on her services this would be a zero star review. She never pays attention to what you have to say, she will breeze in and out on newborns too. She will assume you know a lot about raising kids and when to get them to the doctor. She has horrible patient care. Refused to give my child a flu test upon request and a week later we all got the flu and tested positive at the urgent care. Unfortunately our child was too late for the window of medication and simply had to suck it up. The reason for 4 stars: Dr Schams- he is the absolute best. He answers all your questions, concerns and will make sure your child is well cared for. Dr. Parr: we often see him on weekend hours and he is also pretty good! Nurse practitioner Jane Riley is fantastic! Lactation consultant is on site (Pam) who is simply amazing. Dr Goen: she is very vested in patient care, explains everything in depth and provides you all options upon talking to her. So yes, anyone stuck with Dr Sullivan really doesn't know how the pediatrician world works when you have great doctors. You MUST have the ability to be nice to parents and learn to be patient with them. Kids don't go home and take their medicines, parents have to learn the pros and cons of a child's sickness. So being nice just to your baby and breezing past the "stupid parents" won't get you a score Kelly!
