Finally found First Physicians and loved the place during our first visit. Dr. Beaty is amazing. He takes time in knowing his patients, you are not rushed neither are you to leave the facility feeling diminished. There's no experimentation is any of his treatments, he is to the point and will call you on what you shouldn't be doing. He gives his best and expects his patients to follow through, otherwise, what's the point in seeking his medical advise and consult if neither patients/parents heeds to his advise. Pros: Dr. Muehe is great, he's knowledgeable and really cares about my children and gives good advice. Cons: Basically everything else. 1. Availability. Every single time my kids actually get sick and need to see a doctor urgently, there's never any appointments available. We've gone to the urgent care 15+ times the past few years because this location is always overbooked and never willing to see me on short notice. They should really save some spots for kids who get sick to come in and see a doctor. 2. Waiting. When you do make a scheduled appointment for your kids (for an annual checkup, which is scheduled months in advance) you get there on time. You check in, and give them your name. And then you wait. And wait. And wait. I'd estimate that I spend 45-60 minutes waiting around their office when I go. It's really ridiculous. 3. We've had issues with their MyChart system. It's mostly right, but not totally right, so it's hard to trust it.

My son, who has asthma, had a severe flare-up a few months ago, and when I called the office for an emergency appointment, I was told there were no openings. As someone who works in the medical field, I know how critical it is to see patients in need or at least guide them to immediate care. Thankfully, another location saw him, but this was after a lot of stress. More recently, I called to ensure my son was all set before school started, and I was told he only needed a follow-up for his asthma. After his visit, I realized he needed an asthma action plan form signed by the doctor. When I called to get this done, I was told he needed a physical, even though he had just been seen two months ago. To make matters worse, scheduling a physical was difficult due to the timing. The final straw was the poor customer service I experienced when I went in. The front office staff was rude and unhelpful, even prioritizing a delivery person over me, a waiting patient. This lack of care and respect is unacceptable, and I'll be finding another provider for my son's care. It's disappointing that this office has lost the focus on patient care and service.

With all the money they make off people for unhelpful medical opinions by the doctors they should remodel and stay clean and uncluttered! Its gross! Im in there countless of times a year because my child does not feel good! All the doctors make me feel like crazy liar! They never want to prescibe anything. Some nurses will talk to you as a parent and let you call in the refill and others like to make it difficult and abruptly say "we can't refill ! You will have to have your child call in" There really is no rhyme or reason to their protocol. Because this continues to happen, we are moving to a new doctor. Life is too short to deal with unpleasant nurses, that don't seem to enjoy their job. :)
