Love everything about this place! My son is in daycare and is always sick. They are ALWAYS able to…read moresee him the day of and treat him which is a blessing! The staff from the receptionist (very sweet and concerned every time I call) the nurses are amazing with him, and the Dr. I have seen 2 different ones and they were both great. I cannot recommend this place enough, I trust them and never have had any issues. I drive an hour just to go here, if that tells you anything.

I didn't say anything in the past because I felt that I should give it a chance. First of all let's start with the reception area. Their is a older woman that works there and seems like she is frustrated working there. You will not get one smile from her. What I see is "I work here because I have too". That to me is a big turn off. If shes not willing to do her part what a receptionist should be in the front desk than it's time for her to retire. Today I had an appt at 3:00pm and arrived early. The nurse that checked in my grandson did a excellent job. Her services was impeccable. We were left in the waiting room for more than 20 minutes. For a child 20 minutes or more is a life time just for a simple wellness. We decided to leave. Children do not like to see Dr's to begin with. I would think that Lake Area Pediatric should have consideration on children. All kids just want to get it over with and not be waiting in the waiting room for 20 minutes or more. It saddens me to write a review like this. It's time for Lake Area Pediatrics to make major changes in their lobby as well as their staff.

Dr Kelly Sullivan is HORRIBLE. If this review was based on her services this would be a zero star review. She never pays attention to what you have to say, she will breeze in and out on newborns too. She will assume you know a lot about raising kids and when to get them to the doctor. She has horrible patient care. Refused to give my child a flu test upon request and a week later we all got the flu and tested positive at the urgent care. Unfortunately our child was too late for the window of medication and simply had to suck it up. The reason for 4 stars: Dr Schams- he is the absolute best. He answers all your questions, concerns and will make sure your child is well cared for. Dr. Parr: we often see him on weekend hours and he is also pretty good! Nurse practitioner Jane Riley is fantastic! Lactation consultant is on site (Pam) who is simply amazing. Dr Goen: she is very vested in patient care, explains everything in depth and provides you all options upon talking to her. So yes, anyone stuck with Dr Sullivan really doesn't know how the pediatrician world works when you have great doctors. You MUST have the ability to be nice to parents and learn to be patient with them. Kids don't go home and take their medicines, parents have to learn the pros and cons of a child's sickness. So being nice just to your baby and breezing past the "stupid parents" won't get you a score Kelly!
