This place is located about two minutes from the Embassy Suites. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Our orders were simple (e.g. Pina Colada and Peach) and the snow cones were flavorful. Definitely recommend.
Went with Tiger's Blood and added Li Hing powder and housemade mochi and it was amazing. No notes!! I'd 100% come back here again. There were no long lines, special flavors, quick service, and great price.

Love Lahaina Shave Ice, they abide by their motto that not all shave ice is created equal. The quality of the ice and variety of the syrups and toppings is to die for. However, I wish there was more seating at this location!! The line situation is also a tad confusing since there are two doors- we saw an older man cut through the entire line and order first since he went through the other one and no one objected to him. We ordered the blue Hawaiian with sugar free pineapple syrup and two toppings: mochi and snow top. This was so delicious and refreshingly light!! The mochi was pillowy soft, even though we ordered at nighttime around 8 PM. I don't think anything could beat the weather in Hawaii better than this. I don't think you could mess up an order at Lahaina even if you tried. This spot has well deserved hype, and I hope they continue to maintain their popularity and quality.
Conviennent and tasty shave ice near Waikiki hotels. Went in the afternoon - no line and was able to order on the spot. The small is pretty big already - but it does melt pretty quick! It does take a bit for the shave ice as they look to make them one at a time. Flavors meshed together with the texture of the ice. Would def come back!
There was a slight line but staff were sufficient the wait was not long I recommended adding condensed milk to rainbow (strawberry vanilla & banana)
I saw this cute little dessert store next to the steak house next door. The girls were the sweetest helping me out with the ones to pick and what they recommend. It's shaved ice and it's so good. I got the black milk tea with ice cream and the smallest one, as I was by myself. It's really delicious and a nice treat, almost like the best black milk tea I've ever had. I couldn't finish it, so it's definitely made for two people. I was able to catch the sunset and enjoy my food and treat. I definitely recommend this place, it's so good never had anything like it. The girls were awesome and the vibes are pretty chill. I'm in HNL once a month and will be back.
We got the House of the Sun with red bean, ice cream, and mochi toppings. This was such a tasty treat. My favorite was the blue shaved ice (blue hawaii) - it reminds me of cotton candy but less artificial/sweet tasting. The other two flavors, lime and guava, were tasty too. Loved the combination of flavors and toppings we got. Generous portion too.
Came here for some shaved ice as it was just steps from our hotel, is said to be one of the best shaved ice spots on the island, and my brother comes here whenever he visits Waikiki and swears by it. So, since it was a hot day, what better way to cool down than enjoy a nice shaved ice dessert you can actually enjoy any time of the day or night. This place is not exactly easy to find as it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, but once you do find it, you'd probably never expect it to look like a small parking garage's ticketing office...well, it probably was. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered one shaved ice with matcha flavor, with mochi balls, and extra scoops of azuki (red beans)....just because we really love our red beans! And, we also ordered a more colorful shaved ice with matcha, mango, and strawberry flavors and topped with azuki red beans too. Yup, there's a good reason why they say that this is one of the best spots for shaved ice.....the shaved ice is nice and fine and stacked tall in the small bowl, with your choice of flavors poured down the side till soaked into the ice. Wow.....a small spoon of flavored shaved ice, witha small scoop of red beans really hit the spot! Too bad this place is literally a hole-in-the-wall take away place only, so you either stand around and eat it (away from the main driveway) at the side, or wherever else you can find to sit and enjoy it as there are no chairs or tables here. I must admit that I am not a sweet tooth, and trying to cut down on sweet syrupy stuff, but this shaved ice was really good, and it reminded me of my childhood days....when my waistline and sugar intake wasn't a big concern :S
Lahaina Shave Ice is an unsuspecting location for some great shave ice. We walked to it and it wasn't too far from the restaurant we were at. It's located in this parking lot, so it was easy to miss. They offered different flavors, flavor combinations, and sizes. We got the Tiger's blood and Lava Flow both in keiki size. This didn't look like a keiki size because it was huge! Our family couldn't even finish it! We loved the condensed milk and soft ice. It definitely filled out shave ice craving. There is no seating outside so you have to find somewhere to sit. It sucked having to walk with our shave ice slowly melting. Thankfully we weren't far from a Starbucks and sat over there.

It is located at the entrance of a parking garage so everyone was like watch out guys, be careful, move!, etc. We stopped in after having dinner at Ginza which was like two doors down. They have an extensive menu of flavors and the portions are huge. The young ladies working that evening were nice. Took a little while to get them and there's no seating area. You just have to stand on the side of the street and hope to not get run over. The texture of the ice was not as fine as other places. Reminded me more of a snow cone. The flavors were just ok although, the mochi was good. My brother loves it, but it just wasn't my favorite place for shave ice. I would most likely skip it next time even though I will be back for Ginza!

Saw this place on TikTok and knew I had to try it. It was pretty easy to locate, but can also be easily missed if you're not looking. Nestled at the entrance of a parking lot, Lahaina Shave Ice sits proudly and boasts a humble existence. Staff were super friendly and helping me pick out my flavors and even made some choices for me. I ended up getting the kids sized (keiki) shaved ice with lychee and passion fruit with ice cream and snow cap (pick the condensed coconut cream vs condensed milk). It was pretty good and hit the spot with the evening being so humid and warm. Would definitely return
I mean, when it's hot outside in Hawaii, there is not many options better than getting some shaved ice! My wife did some searching here on Yelp for a place and saw that this place had some great reviews so we came to check it out. Ducked off in what I would describe as a parking garage, they have a walk up window that you can come to an order. Watch out for the moving cars! They had tons of options and many combinations for you to choose from. I was feeling pretty basic on this day, so I just got a shaved ice with half cherry and half grape. So good! They put a ton of flavor in the ice. There wasn't a bite that didn't taste just like plain ice. I got the keiki size, and as you can see from the picture I have it's a pretty big portion. Honestly, big enough for two people to share. I would highly recommend this place! read more

Popular shaved ice spot located near a parking garage that's just take out, shorter hours and accepts cards too. My friends got tutti frutti with mochi and one in a melon with jelly. Nice to share, good quality shaved ice and condensed milk, mochi was goo and they give you a straw to also drink but I felt like the end of our shaved ice was very syrup-y. I think I remember some ice cream at the bottom but I felt like this shaved ice was more of your snow cone type with syrup on the bottom. Lots of different flavors and options to choose from. Sometimes there are lines and no where to really eat sit and eat, we had to walk the strip while eating and sharing. Parking is probably hard too unless you're staying at a hotel nearby, if not there's probably hotel parking. read more
ORDER thai tea, green tea/matcha, ube (4/5) very very big portions!! my biggest complaint is the tiny bowl for such a big portion. the bowl ended up getting soggy and the shave ice tipped over :') aside from that... very yummy!! SERVICE very quick and accommodating. AMBIANCE id definitely recommend walking here... street parking is really limited. no seats. read more
This place is a walk up on the corner of a parking garage. It might be hard to find as it's kind of out of sign from the main tourist street, but once you're on the street, pretty hard to miss. You should note: NO SEATING OR EATING AREA. You would have to stand on the side of the street. I would say the service is ok. The three women working there don't seem super friendly, but I've seen worse service. They seemed to just want you to take your shaved ice and go. They are daily fast at getting you your order, but they don't make eye contact or say much to anyone. The price point and serving size are pretty standard. The shaved ice was pretty good tho. I got my shaved ice with ice cream and mochi. They use flat disc type mochi and it's pretty good- standard mochi, nothing game changing. It was cooked perfectly and paired well with everything else. The syrups are not fresh fruit, so it's exactly what you expect from typical fruit syrups. Would I come back? Meh. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I were around I would come back. read more
Strange location where the ordering window is in an active driveway. Staff seemed to be burnt out from telling patrons they shouldn't stand in front of the window to look at the menu and were not so friendly. Their keiki size was quite large. Unique hupia snow cap but they seems to be a bit stingy on that topping. No tables or seats to eat at. read more
This tiny kiosk is underground in a parking lot. The service was quick and the shaved ice was really delicious. It was hard to order, there were multiple menus and add ons I missed until after I had ordered. Note it is a pick-up only location. It is two blocks away from the beach so that was nice! read more
Just as yummy as it is in Maui! Their syrups are one of the most flavorful and I like them more than Island Vintage because they have mochi and mac ice cream add-ons. Note: This location is small and it's sort of in a parking lot(?), so there is no place to sit and enjoy your shaved ice. There's a small standing area but it gets crowded with more than 3.5 people. Also hard to find the trash can which is down an alley and behind something (we never found it). Still, good shaved ice is good shaved ice and Lahaina Shaved Ice is one of my favs. read more

Love this shave ice spot! The quality and flavors are definitely there and the workers are always really nice even when I bring my entire family. The consistency is good and the presentation is amazing. Also the line is never really long given that this place is located on a side street not on the main Waikiki strip. I always tell people to either go here or ululanis if they don't want to wait in the ridiculous line that always forms at Island Vintage. read more

A little while in the wall place where you can get some shaved ice and good mochi. Service was great, the woman to helped us was very nice and helped us pick the best options for us. Overall it was okay, I'm not a sweet person and got tigers blood which was too much for me. We also got the smalls which is like a large anywhere else you would go so neither of us could finish. My husband hit the Vader and I thought that was really good! read more
Love the Starburst flavor off their signature menu. Added ice cream. It's not like Uncle Clay's all natural flavors but unfortunately Uncle Clay's isn't around anymore. Service is what you would expect from a walk up window. No seats but decent prices - $10 for a keiki size which was enough for two. read more
This is a solid shave ice spot. It was very refreshing. There were lots of options. We chose the Seas the Day (Blue Hawaii + Vanilla + Blue Raspberry + Condensed Milk) and the Tutti Frutti (Lilikoi + Mango + POG + Condensed Milk). I wish the flavors were a little more strong, I only really could taste the Vanilla in the Seas the Day combo and the Lilikoi in the Tutti Frutti combo. The location is in a bit of an awkward spot in a parking area. But overall, the customer service was good and the shave ice was refreshing on the hot day we went. read more

We had a very lucky find during our recent staycation, our hotel was right across the street from this hidden spot in Waikiki! After a few hours at the pool under the glaring sun, we decided to walk around for a drink and stumbled upon Lahaina Shave Ice. It's a cute little storefront near the entrance of a parking garage, so we had no idea it was there until we saw a crowd of people in front. The signs are so cute and the descriptions of the different flavors made our mouths water. The customer service was awesome, friendly and youthful, making us feel extremely welcomed and able to ask questio. What makes this place truly unique are the flavors. We tried the mango sticky rice, which is a flavor I've never seen in shave ice before, even though I know it's a popular dessert. The shave ice was huge and really hit the spot on a hot afternoon in Waikiki. As a mochi lover, I was so excited to find out that they make their mochi fresh daily! We loved this place so much that we had to go back twice during our short stay. If you're ever in the area, you have to check it out, you won't be disappointed! read more
I found this location on a whim. It is located near my hotel room and we decided to check this location out. Glad we did! My wife got the KEIKI AUDREE which has Gummy Bear, Bubblegum. And I got the KA'ANAPALI Pina Colada, Lychee, Lililkoi with some boba Both were amazing and fresh. Staff were friendly. I would love to be back soon especially in this warm weather. read more
The serving is HUGE! Good price for the amount. We ordered ice cream on top and it looked very small and melted not sure if that's the usual consistency. Although it was a huge portion it was a bit too syrupy for me. You order at the window and a lot of people sit on the sidewalk or along the street to eat since there are not tables. Located in front of a parking structure. read more
