On July 03, 2020 I brought my husband business shirts and clothes. Two week later I returned to pick up my husband clothes. I was told by Zip they gave my husband clothes to another customer. Zip the store clerk stated that he spoke with the customer and the customer will return my husband clothes by Tuesday. I waited until Friday, July 24. Only to get the same response. The customer never returned my husband clothes. I have been going there for several months. With no problem until now. The owner got mad at me and began using foul language.rude and very disrespectful calling me foul names. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. I finally found a dry cleaners that is not only reasonably priced but also does a good job. I believe it was .89 cents or something like that for a shirt and the pants was around $1.50 something. Prices here are definitely the cheapest I've found so far. I believe they also have same day pick up service. read more

I rarely post a review but I felt I had to. My husband and I have been using this cleaners for years with an average $400 a month bill. Three weeks ago my husband dropped items to be cleaned, including a caftan recently purchased. When he went to pickup the cleaning the caftan was not included. I made a copy of the purchase slip with a picture of the caftan and he gave it to the cashier to check for its whereabouts. Today my husband went to drop off and pickup some more cleaning, he inquired if they had found the caftan, the cashier said no, that someone else must have gotten it. A request was made for reimbursement and they said no, that they had not received it (which is NOT true). I have been doing business with the for at least five years. Warning! Do NOT use this dry cleaners.... they are completely incompetent and rude. I took in my queen size comforters to have dry cleaned as I was moving out of state and needed to have it cleaned before i shipped all my belongings. Sadly the comforter was completely destroyed at the cleaners :( It was all lumpy and disgusting and had rips all through out. There were even some parts sewn back up. When I called the dry cleaners they were so rude and aggressive. I'm so disgusted by this place, I have NEVER had this happen to me at any other dry cleaners. I love my cleaners. They are nowhere near my house in The Heights, but my partner offices on the same block which makes them very convenient to use. The pricing is extremely reasonable and the quality is really good, especially considering the cost. I even tested a couple of rather expensive "big name" cleaners to compare . I was even happier with Lah then. I paid more than double at the other cleaners to get the same quality. Add to that the fact, the owners are always there and they are really nice. So I've managed to get by my entire life without ever losing my temper in a store--until I went to Lah's Cleaners. After picking up and casually inspecting some suits they dry cleaned, I later noticed a stain on a pair of pants which wasn't there when I dropped them off. I came back the next day and asked them to reclean my pants, which the woman behind the counter agreed to do for free. After I got into my car and was about to drive off, though, the woman runs out into the parking lot, knocks on my car door, and tells me that the owner has decided I have to pay again. I go back in and point out that either 1, I dropped off unstained clothes to be cleaned and they were returned stained, or, 2, I somehow didn't notice that there was a stain when I dropped them off, and they failed to remove it. Either way, it seems pretty reasonable to me to ask that they re-clean the clothes without additional cost. The owner and the lady explained since I failed to spot the stain when I picked up my clothes, I was the one at fault--not them. The owner then suggested that, in the 24 hours between when I got my clothes from them and returned, I had worn the pants, stained them, and was now trying to scam them my way into a free cleaning. So anyways, I've learned my lesson. I was tempted by the low prices, and ended up with a damaged $900 suit--not the best way to save money. Do yourself a favor, take a pass on Lah's and take your business to a cleaners that won't shamelessly screw you over. read more

Having just moved to town, I needed to find a dry cleaners but wanted to stay away from the Galleria area (read: pricey!) I found Lah's which just happens to be about 1/2 mile from where I live. I had a pair of slacks and a blouse dry cleaned...$5.25 total! Love it :-) read more

They either lost or ruined the belt to my trench coat and could not care less. I had been going here for a few months with generally okay experiences. Once they gave me someone else's item with my clothes, which I promptly returned, and usually the dry cleaning was okay--not great, but okay. Then I brought in my trench coat and they returned it without the belt. When I tried calling, the woman who answered the phone told me she would have the owner call me back. I tried this three times with no response. I finally went in and spoke with the owner/manager. He knew exactly who I was and why I was there, and never denied that he didn't return the belt with my coat. My guess is that he somehow damaged it and knew he didn't return it with the coat. When I asked him to at least try calling other people whose items were cleaned the same day to see if he accidentally attached my belt to someone else's items, he said that he knew that was not the case. He refused to help in any way. He said it's just a belt and not a whole coat that he lost, so there is nothing he would do about it. Not sure how to wear a trench coat without a belt. Even though I have a lot of friends that own dry cleaning stores, sometimes it is a little inconvenient because of the distance. But thankfully I found Lah's on a whim. It's fairly close to the house, and there is a curb cut that allows you to turn in directly into the plaza without making a U-turn. And it's on the way home from work. The pricing at Lah's is very competitive with other cleaners around the area, but what makes Lah's different is the service and hospitality that they give each customer whether your new or a regular. What keeps me coming back regularly is every time I leave I always feel like I got a bargain. They give full cleaner work, service at discount pricing! Can't beat that! This was okay, they did a great job dry cleaning but ruined my review because of their awful customer service. After I picked up my stuff I hadn't noticed that one of the items had fallen off the hanger because everything was bundled together and I was in a rush. After I went back (after a day) instead of offering to help me to look they denied any wrongdoing and accused me of lying, only after I got upset did they take the 5 minutes to check in the back and lo behold, found the item they had neglected to make sure I was given in the first place. Be careful. They destroyed my dress. It was new dress and when I got it back I didnt see the damage till the dress get home. There were black lint all over my cream dress and shape was gone like someone with hips wore it. After the weekend when my husband took it back,the guy he didnt like his upset attitude and throwed my dress to the floor and dragged it on the floor.Didn't gave the money back or took any responsibility for it. There must be an authority to provoke those peoples licance. If they dont have customer service manners they should be out of service business. read more

This place is fabulous! I've taken clothes to be dry cleaned and they do a wonderful job! Also, I've taken clothes to be altered and they are reasonable and do a great job! Please Please do not give your cloths here, the first time i took the cloths from this dry cleaners there was a stain on one of the shirts and i showed it to them and they said it is not their fault it is blood stain and that they can not remove it, but from next time I kept checking the shirts before giving it to them and the same stain was on one of the shirts again when i told them they said it is your shirt which had this stain. A 3rd time it happened to two of my shirts and this time I told him I am not coming here any more and it didnt make a difference to him at all, the last two shirts were expensive ones and they didnt care about it. I can swear I checked them before giving it to them the stains were not there at all on any of the shirts and they dont want to accept that it is their fault and they even charged me for all those stained shirts which I can not use any more. read more
