My kids always get ice cream when we are here, and they have to go visit the cows. There's a playground, a giant jumping pillow, and a track for tricycles. We've never eaten here, but we've taken meals to go plenty of times. We are never disappointed. The restaurant is always busy, and the atmosphere is always full of energy.

This establishment has processed cheese, Cheese curds, jams/jellies, crackers, etc. The thing here that is awesome is their aged cheddar cheeses and from 10 to, I think, I saw a 20-year-old shard cheddar. All of these cheeses are very reasonably priced. Either way, I need about a couple of pounds of 12-year and some aged brick cheese. They were the best thing ever. I have this on my radar now. Whenever I go to Wausau or Stevens Point, I am hitting this place and stocking up on my cheese.

We stopped in this cute shop at the recommendation of a friend. It has only been open for a few…read moremonths. Most of the dozens of cheeses were made locally, including the expected cheese curds. The shop has a fantastic selection of flavored gouda cheeses, locally made by a Dutch lady. We'll definitely stock up before making the trek back South. I'll get more pictures then too. The samples were wonderful. Stop in to try the cheeses or to buy some unique (and beautiful) cutting boards made by a local family. Common theme? Local and tasty!!

They have lots of different Ellsworth cheese products, along with a bunch of other Wisconsin made items. We were on our way home from Thanksgiving in Minneapolis. The snow was coming down, and we decided to take a break and grab some lunch. Perfect timing to stop in at the creamery and try one of their famous grilled cheese curd sandwiches. It was noon and a few other people had the same idea. The several staff members we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. I got the sandwich and my wife got the Hot Chicken Tortilla soup. Both were very good. The bread was a thicker Texas toast and nicely grilled. The cheese curds had been melted, but you could still make out the curd shapes. There was a small amount of BBQ sauce that gave it a bit of a tangy flavor. I would have liked a bit more of that. Next time, I would like to get there earlier to check out the actual curd and cheese making process.
