The craftsmanship was not up to par and cost $10,000 more than proposed. We had many "add on fees" for items such as - "installation and delivery" (what contractor quotes prices without installation and delivery). Often they had us agree to things verbally without conveying it would change the price (there are laws against this) and then send us a price change agreement weeks later. They seemed very upfront and trustworthy at the onset but quickly turned once the contract was executed and our walls were open (we couldn't back out then). We up against a tight deadline for the birth of our daughter and they did not seem to care. We currently have a hole in our kitchen ceiling from a leaking tub they installed. This is now the 3rd plumbing issue we have during the process with them. Luckily, when the ceiling was cut open, we realized why our in-floor heat wasn't working. They had severed the electrical wires and then electrical taped them back to together and shoved them in the floor (Hint: this isn't code compliant). Our house was always a mess and they used our front porch like a storage locker for their tools and supplies. As my wife and I often joke, they only way they are "Property Brothers of Milwaukee" is if you want Holmes on Homes upset by your choice in contractor. We cannot recommend their services.

Now the story - We were juggling buying & selling and had everything lined up, until the buyer of our home nuked the deal two weeks before closing was scheduled. I emailed Cream City Mortgage on the Saturday I found out the sale fell through, and Gustavo called me within 30 minutes to discuss our situation & outlook. He was upfront & blunt (in a good way) about our prospects and immediately set the process of recalibrating our options into motion. Fast forward to closing day on the new home, and Gustavo was able to facilitate securing a HELOC loan for the down payment and a mortgage through an alternate financial institution - our original lender backed out upon finding out we wouldn't have the proceeds from our existing home available to close on the new one, further complicating matters. After our listing expired with Remax we looked to friends to suggest a Realtor - John Gscheidmeier was the man. John came in as a Real Estate PROFESSIONAL. He takes his work seriously, and he worked fast to get both an accurate listing and awesome professional photos out. John had our home sold in one week for damn near asking price. We made tens of thousands over what we would have with Remax and FELT GOOD about what we paid for in commission. John did significantly more than our 6% guy who claimed to be the best of the best. Redefined is the wave of the future, you get more with these guys as a seller than you will with anyone - guaranteed. We hired Stalle to sell our house...we had already moved out of town but they assured us they would treat our home "as if it were our own." Consequently, they damaged new floors, lied about their staging experience (they had none), put our expensive furniture in a storage warehouse without informing us, ruined fine artwork, simply lost our drapes (who does that?) & were unprofessionial & dismissive. What a train wreck! We ended our contract, but not soon enough. Obviously, should have shared this experience before you encountered them. Sorry friend.
