I live a planes,trains and automobiles lifestyle and have used LL for the past 10-15 years. Today may have been the last trip with this company. The van used from O'Hare was like riding in a wagon on the Oregon Trail. It was physically impossible to use a laptop during the drive. The vehicle was able to maintain one temperature, sweltering. Apparently their vehicles are not capable of providing any form of air conditioning after the month of September due to the driver having no control over temperatures, only fan speed. The driver was nice and I place no fault in any of the drivers. They do a great job but, they are working for management that doesn't give them the proper tools to offer a quality product. In fact, outside of the driver that's a bit too worried about the departure and arrival schedule, I have never had a bad driver with LL. I used them so often between 2010-2015 that all the drivers recognized me and used to provide me with the cell phone number to call if I was running a little late. Today, LL is not providing the same product. Not sure when management changed but previous management did a much better job. I personally noticed the issues began to arise about 3-3.5 years ago. It's too bad because LL used to be my preferred method to move between Chicago and Indianapolis. It actually pains me to write this review. I don't want to bash a local company, especially one I have used for so many years. It has become more expensive, the service has suffered and the vehicles appear to not be on the same level of quality as in the past. Their 24 hour advanced reservation rule is a real pain. I work in the travel industry and completely understand the challenges they are facing because of Covid but, you either run a scheduled service or don't. Bottom line, I hope this company can recover to the service levels of the past. It would be nice to see the airline employee rate return and I would use their service again. Until then, I will find other ways to move between the Indy and O'Hare airports. read more

Lafayette Limo is a wonderful option to get to and from the Indianapolis airport. They were on time both picking me up to take me to the airport and picking me up at the airport to bring me home. The van is comfortable and has WiFi. The drivers are polite and careful drivers. They send an email that allows you to track them, so you know exactly where they are. I really like this. Terrible. The van that picked me up didn't announce it was headed to Indy. I was ticketed to ORD. On the return trip the van that was supposed to pick me up either didn't or didn't communicate that it was running late to Terminal 5. Either way the effect was the same. I used Reindeer all last year for my sons trips hope and had one bad experience that ended up costing me more to make changes than the original ticket. They were very unresponsive. I decided to use Lafayette Limo this year and couldn't be happier with the responsiveness, reminders and level of customer service that Reindeer didn't have. Was told if we had to adjust for weather that there was no additional fees . Will use Lafayette Limo from now on. read more

I booked my shuttle to O'Hare earlier this week. At that time I expected to be driven in a regular shuttle van, like I have been several times before. Instead I was crammed into the very back corner in the last row of seats in an overcrowded SUV. The driver spent ten minutes trying to fit the suitcases in the back. I couldn't move my arms without touching the next passenger and because there I had no knee room (my knees were crammed into the seat in front of me) I had to hold my bag on my lap. Note that the person in front of me wanted to adjust their seat but it isn't possible to do that in this vehicle. The SUV is not designed for 7 average sized adults. The driver explained that Lafayette Limo makes more money by using the smaller vehicle. He also said the his company, Airport Executive Cars, has asked you not to book seven passengers in the Escalade. This was the worst shuttle ride I have ever taken. I will NEVER book with Lafayette Limo again and I will tell everyone in my department about this experience. In retrospect I should have left an hour earlier with EAC. I won't make the same mistake again. read more

My 5:00 a.m. trip to the Indy airport from the Holiday Inn City Center couldn't have been better! The bus was pristine, the driver (John) took time to welcome us and explain emergency exit procedures (I've only seen that on planes before), the ride was smooth, speed limit perfect, and timing excellent (John also took care of loading and unloading our luggage). All that for less than it would have cost to drive our own vehicle, and I didn't have to worry about falling asleep on the way. I highly recommend utilizing this excellent service! read more

I caught the 6:30AM ride from the Indy airport to WLaf last minute. I appreciated being able to pay at the bus stop, since I wasn't sure I would get there in time. The driver was super friendly, and given the distance the rate seemed reasonable. The only downside was that once we got on the highway the bus jolted like crazy; every little bump made the seats crash up and down (it was LOUD). Definitely not a peaceful journey. Terrible customer service in the office and refused to refund duplicate charges for the same booking. I booked my ticket online and their website timed out after clicking submit stating to "try again". Same thing happened the 2nd time. The third time the reservation went all the way through. When I arrived at the shuttle to ride the next day, the driver told me I was on their list 3 times and to call the office and request a refund of the duplicated rides. When I reached out to the office their response was "all sales are final, no refunds". They absolutely dug their heels in even though they understood the website timed out and I was charged 3 times for the same ticket. read more

DO NOT use Lafayette limo. We were scheduled to be picked up at 1255p. Driver was 15m late; we got about 25m out of town before he made a u-turn, asked another passenger to count how many empty seats were left, and drove back into West lafayette to a hotel that had been missed on the route. Call to the main office routed me to "management" who informed me that "delays were expected because it was student rush week, and that the time would be made up on the interstate." Despite my attempts to ask how leaving west Lafayette an hour late because the driver missed a stop qualifier as a delay and how they would "make up" being an hour behind on a 1.5h drive), all the woman said was that this was a normal delay. We'll see if we make our flights! But in the meantime, just remember this is the bus company that thinks an hour is a normal delay, and didn't even offer a refund for the ticket. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Was cautioned against using this service and had a load of trouble from a single roundtrip. We had an uneventful trip to Indianapolis early morning but upon arriving for our 6pm return we were advised there was no room to accommodate our group as the driver had filled the shuttle with 4pm travelers who wanted to return to West Lafayette early. Lafayette limo was unhelpful via telephone and after several communications via email came to the conclusion we would not receive a refund given we should have taken the 8pm shuttle- per them. Our group had to take an uber to Lafayette instead of waiting 2 hours at the airport and Lafayette Limo was unhelpful and not understanding with the situation. I would caution anyone wanting to use their services. They clearly have a group of winners working here. read more

Today was my first time taking this shuttle service from Purdue Campus to Chicago O'Hare Airport. To begin my journey the bus driver showed up 15 minutes late to start. Then as we are getting on our way the bus main door would not stay closed and opened several times during the ride. The driver pulled over and tried to fix it, but it just kept opening. So we then sat on the side of the road for an hour waiting the replacement bus to arrive, keep in mind this trip is only like 2 hours long. So what should have been an easy trip up to ORD became a 5 hour shit show. I didn't have a flight to catch, but I know some passengers on the bus definitely did and missed their flight with no reimbursement or refund from this company. Due to luggage delay, my son had to miss his 6:30 scheduled ride back to campus from Indy airport. Even though it was 6:30pm on a Saturday, I called a number on the Lafayette Limo website and was answered by a LIVE HUMAN who assured me that they'd get my son back to campus on a later shuttle. I had reservations from Indy airport to West Lafayette. We were picked up in a stretch party limo. it was the most miserable ride from the airport. The neon lights were flashing and you had to crawl in and out of the limo. How many ways can I express that I did not sign up for this limo ride. I had a reservation with lafayette limo for their 3:30 shuttle to ORD. I was there at PMU at 3:30, but could not find them. I repeatedly tried to call their office, and it took me almost half hour to get through. When I finally got through, the receptionist communicated with the driver and I was told I did not have a reservation which is why the driver left. I provided the reservation details and insisted they check it, at which time they changed their story to "the shuttle was at PMU, at 3:30". I had to make other arrangements (book an Uber, costed 200 bucks) to get to ORD. When I contacted them, I was told that the driver waited from 3:24 to 3:31. I asked why I wasn't given a call to check where I was, to which they had no answer. They refuse to give me a refund, and have offered credit. This is a dishonest company. Do not use their services. EAC is a safer bet. read more

Scam alert! I called to get schedules from agent who told me to book online. Went there under Book Shuttle and booked. One hour later found out I was going to get picked up and went back to cancel following directions. Got email saying I had agreed to their no refund policy when booking online. So the agent on the phone sent me to book online, and link tells you NOTHING about cancellation under booking. Called them, and got song and dance about another website link that has no refund policy, but that is not on the booking link. Got that? This is a scam operation. I rode the Lafayette Limo from West Lafayette to IND and it was a very good experience. John was the driver. He was friendly and drove responsibly. There were a few issues with some of the bus seats. The seat backs would not lock in place for a few of them, and a few of the seat belts were twisted and would not extend enough to go around my waist. I moved twice to find a good seat. But this was no big deal and I didn't feel rushed to get settled. It seems better to sit more towards the back in order to get a good functioning seat. There are phone charging outlets in each row, too, which is nice, and free wifi. I was happy to be able to relax on the trip to the airport and glad that I didn't have to ask my daughter to drive me there. The price is very affordable. Thanks! read more

I used the service last week to get from O'hare to West Lafayette. Booking online was simple & easy, but you must print a receipt. It would be cool if they enhanced this to e-ticket since they check your ID anyways. When I got to O'hare, someone called me to let me know they were on the way. Got on the shuttle, but was a little concerned that a service sign stayed on & there was a note saying that piece was broken so that's why the light was on. The driver was really friendly and got us to Purdue. On the way back, I got dropped off to the office and jumped on shuttle. I felt the driver was driving a bit speedy considering he had a bigger shuttle. But again, got me to O'hare. read more

Scheduled an early morning pickup and rescheduled it twice to different mornings - the office was extremely helpful and professional. The driver was on time at 5:20am at the Courtyard Marriott Lafayette and warned me that he wasn't sure I would make my 7:45am flight given possible traffic d/t construction. I had scheduled a Limo pickup at the Indianapolis Airport for 4:30 pm that day. Due to several flight delays, my arrival in Indianapolis was way overdue. My flight finally landed at 10:28 pm, two minutes before the last pick-up time for Lafayette Limo. I had been in contact with LAFAYETTE LIMO throughout the day, keeping them updated on my expected ETA, as it changed by the hour. I was finally speaking directly with Richard, who assured me that if I kept him updated on my ETA, he would see that I got home safely to Lafayette that night. So, when I landed in Indy, I called him and he said he was waiting for me at the Ground Transportation exit. I arrived there at 10:45 p.m. and he was there waiting for me as he had promised. He loaded my suitcase and we headed for Lafayette at 10:50, which was of course later than the usual departure time. However, both Richard and the driver, Candace, were kind and patient and assured me that it was not a problem. They were both very professional and I felt quite relieved to be in such good hands. read more

I was trying to get a ride from O'Hare International Airport back to West Lafayette, but I missed my bus due to my flight's many delays. I contacted customer service as soon as I could to see what I could do, and the lady who answered the phone was just laughing with her co-worker during the conversation. I was very upset because this was a stressful situation for me and the customer service could do nothing but laugh. She finally told me that I could catch the bus the next morning, but when I got to that bus, it was all full, so that wasn't very helpful. Instead I had to pay for a new ticket with a different bus service. Lafayette Limo couldn't even give me my money back or any form of compensation even though I missed my bus due to events out of my control. I am very disappointed with this bus service, especially with the customer service who was too busy laughing to help me. read more

If your itinerary changes-- good luck!! Lafayette Limo offers no accommodation whatsoever. No refund or credit offered back to me despite my flight having a significant last minute delay. Due to the fact that I had to "cancel" my reservation on the same day as my shuttle, LL would not give me any credit whatsoever. My flight was delayed! I had no control over that fact and as a result lost $110 and faced terrible customer service when simply asking for credit as a result of my unfortunate circumstance. I was even emailed the exact same response word for word when confronting them about this. Reindeer Shuttle is far superior and far better when it comes to accommodating their customers that experience delays or difficulties with their airlines. read more

Five of my friends and myself booked Lafayette limo for transportation to and from Indianapolis. The trip down was great, the driver was very kind and accommodating. We were scheduled to be picked up at 6 PM from the Indianapolis airport, and when we arrived at 6 PM and were denied a ride because customers from the 4 PM and the 8 PM slots had taken, not one, not to, but all six of our seats. May I remind you, these were scheduled shuttles, so our pick up time was specifically for 6 PM. We spoke to the driver who did not care to listen or about the situation, and we ended up having to get an Uber all the way back to Lafayette. When we contacted Lafayette limo to explain the situation and two get a refund for the portion of the ride that we were denied service even though it was the time that we had paid for, Lafayette limo refused to refund our money, even a portion of it, because they said that there was an 8 o'clock shuttle that we could have taken despite the fact that again OUR shuttle was scheduled for 6 PM and people who had missed their 4 PM bus and who wanted to leave earlier than 8 PM took our seats. This is not the first time that Lafayette limo has screwed myself, or a friend over. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. They left me and two other riders stranded at the Indianapolis airport tonight. When I finally found an emergency number (no one answered the regular line) and called, the rude lady said that the driver had picked up all reserved persons and left early. Problem was, I and another person both had reservations, and I was sitting at a picnic table right at Zone 5 for an hour prior to the assigned time of 8:30. At first, I was very impressed with the service - the driver was on-time down to the minute to pick me up, and the shuttle was well-kept and seemed fairly new. At our third stop, however, two passengers missed the shuttle. They did not answer when the driver called them, so understandably she moved on to the next stop. The passengers called back soon after and she (rudely) told them that they could get on at our next stop. They were unable to make it there in time, so after another rude conversation on the phone, she agreed to backtrack and pick them up at a random point on the side of the road (they had been attempting to walk to the next stop). She admitted that this delayed our trip by 15-20 minutes without consulting anyone on the shuttle if this would jeopardize their travel plans. To be fair, she was able to make up travel time and we only arrived at the airport 5-10 minutes behind schedule. I do respect that she made sure that these passengers made it to the airport, but I found the way that she spoke to them and her decision to delay the trip for everyone else very unprofessional. Steer clear! I have been booking Lafayette Limo regularly for my college student since the fall of 2017. During that year our credit card was breached after being used with LL but I still continued to book with them because they were always on time and picked up close to my student's dorm. I trusted them for the last time this week. My student flew in from California and after a long day of travel Lafayette Limo left him stranded. He was supposed to be on the 8:30pm shuttle to WL. He arrived at the pickup point which is zone 5 at 8:10 and didn't see anyone inside at the counter. Nobody showed up by 8:30 and he ran inside to make sure nobody was at the desk and they weren't. Came back outside and continued to wait. Started calling both LL phone numbers which go straight to a full voicemail. There is somebody that answers if you call enough times. After several calls I finally got somebody who was no help at all. She had kids screaming in the background and rushed me off the phone. She said she would call the driver and I asked if she would call back or call my son and she said I could call back if I wanted. I waited a bit and called her back which once again took several calls to get her to pick up and she told me the shuttle had already left and that my daughter had missed it. Hmmmm my kid has long hair but that makes me think possibly somebody saw him but chose not to go speak with him. I called the next morning to let them know what happened and to ask for a refund. I spoke with Staci who told me that they had to use an affiliate because something happened with their driver. She said they called my son at 7:40 but he didn't answer. She provided proof of a call but no voicemail was left and no further attempts were made to contact a passenger with a paid reservation which also included tip for the driver. This was 50 minutes prior to the scheduled departure and for all they know he may have been on a plane without phone service. There were no other attempts to reach my son and nobody stopped at zone 5 to pick up yet they refuse to give me a refund or a credit. Either Lafayette Limo is lying to me or the re-seller at the airport is lying because there was nobody there at the scheduled time to take him. If nothing else you should have a reliable source that will answer calls and problem solve during hours that you are not in the office. That being said maybe it's easier so you can blame the customer instead of your own terribly run business. If you can book Reindeer Shuttle instead of Lafayette Limo I highly recommend it. This company does not care about their repeat customers or potential customers. read more

Saw the limo parked in South Bend in front of the new Harpers Bar & Grill at Erskine Plaza about 8:30 pm. It was parked across 2-3 handicapped spots in front of the business. And was still parked there an hour later like that. Why did it park across the handicap spots when ample parking was available in the near empty parking lot? Is this illegal parking? I just took Lafayette Limo from West Lafayette to the Indy Airport. The driver was great, on time, and the trip was smooth and easy. I have taken Lafayette Limo in the past and I think they have worked to create a better experience, hire good drivers and keep their fleet repaired. I'll take this shuttle again. read more
