Well yes, it's a private golf club but this feels more like spending time with the part of the…read morefamily you like. The course is a fun a playable course. Well setup for all levels of play. And it is rare that pace of play is ever an issue (unless you are behind me). Good sized greens with the right amount elevation change to add challenge but not make you feel like you are putting through a windmill. Most of fairways are wide and open and bunkers are placed so you have a choice to take a chance and go for it or play it safe. Two pools with service. One is adults only but bathing suites required. Water fall from the top, adult pool, down into the family pool. Club house is not stuffy but the right amount of elegance that fits for both enjoying a night with the family, having a party or entertaining for business. Well, I guess we can't forget the food. I'm not big on all the strange l, trendy concoctions. But the head chef knows how to create a memorable meal that I wonder if I'll like it and am never disappointed. Now I know to trust him. Recently, and the menu changes, they added a cola chicken nachos that I will stop off on the way home after a long day just for that. And if the Clam Chowder is the soup of the day then it's a combo meal for me with a bowl of chowder to go. If all you are looking is for some drinks then you won't be disappointed. Great bar with the best staff. And when I say you feel like family I mean it. If you are a member of Club Corp then you be sure and stop by to play a round, relax in the pool or enjoy a meal. Or do all.

Paid around $70 each to have what was supposed to be a fun birthday round completely ruined by some…read moreof the rudest and most annoying golf course staff I've ever dealt with. I have genuinely NEVER experienced anything like this at a golf course. We had six people and specifically booked two tee times with three people each. We called ahead, explained everything, and they knew our plan. Yet from the second we got to the first tee, one of the male employees stood there staring at us, questioning everything we were doing, and treating us like we were already a problem. He complained about our coolers, so we complied. Meanwhile, the group directly behind us had a cooler sitting completely out in the open and he said nothing to them. Then when I went to get drinks, this guy accused us of "plotting and scheming" and even started trying to tell me how to back up and turn a golf cart like I'm not a grown man who knows how to drive. Just unbelievably rude, annoying, and clearly looking for something to complain about. We then let two faster groups play through and had nobody waiting behind us. We weren't holding anyone up. Still, they messaged our carts telling us to split up. I took a photo of it because I thought it was so ridiculous and funny. These losers have nothing better to do but sit in the clubhouse and track our every move. Then another male employee drove out onto the course and immediately came at us with a terrible attitude before we had even said anything to him. We tried to be nice but he quickly made it a hostile argument. He threatened to LOCK OUR CARTS if we continued playing together and literally told us that a different course was where we "needed to be." This is what sent me over the edge. Then, instead of leaving, he stood there watching us tee off on the next hole. At that point it was honestly ridiculous. We paid $70 each to play golf, not to be followed around and treated like a group of criminals. I understand golf courses have rules. What I don't understand is the hostility, selective enforcement, smart comments, threats, staring us down, and treating paying customers like they're a problem from the second they arrive. And the course itself? Extremely mediocre for $70. Take away the mountain views and there is absolutely nothing special enough to justify that price. The woman up front and cart return guy were nice, but the two male employees completely ruined the experience. Awful customer service, overpriced mediocre golf, and easily the worst experience I've ever had at a golf course. Should've spent our $70 somewhere else. According to their own employee, that's where we "needed to be" anyway.

Staff was amazing. Aside from a few sandy, bare spots on the greens, it was a very pretty course…read more Lost of elevated greens which was fun. However, if your a long hitter, this course will disappoint. Tee boxes are tucked away and you're required to hit snap hooks or forced slices to get over 200 yards. Forced to hit accurate approach shots.

I will start by saying that this place is great! My wife and I visited recently for a weekend…read moregetaway in the off-peak winter month of February and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The initial booking interaction with the front office manager was excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were familiarized with the property, how to get in and out of the coded gate, and where to find our documents/keys, etc. as we were checking in late upon arrival. The cabin was beautiful, if not a tad outdated in the typical "Gatlinburg mountain-style" motif, and was settled nicely by itself without an immediate neighbor, so we felt very comfortable, secluded, and able to fully relax - the ideal weekend getaway environment! What was even better was the pricing. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishware, silverware, etc, and a living room area with 2 couches, a lounge chair, including a flat panel with tv access, and all across 2 stories. Everything was very well cleaned, the loft area was beautiful, and even had an in-room whirlpool-jetted tub. Everything they said they'd do, they did. Great service, nice location very close to the Fall Creek Falls State Park, and within 15 mins either way of the nearest town for additional options. Overall, we'd most certainly visit here again the next time we're looking for a hike along the beautiful falls nearby!

Designed with 5 different tee sets, sculpted greens and fairways, and challenging bunkers, the course offers golfers of all skill levels an outstanding golf experience." That sums it up! So fortunate to participate in a 'shamble' scramble here yesterday. The weather was absolutely dialed in, and everything was seamless from registration (great swag thanks to Blue Creek) to the post scramble meal, to the pro shop where you redeem your prizes (yeah, I um, scored the "ladies longest drive" prize - shameless plug). Turns out the pro shop has everything you'd want clothing wise, from onesies for babies to children's golf clothes to cigars and a good array of selections for men, but, nothing cute and frilly for me. As I was feeling deflated, the pro offered up a catalog to me, and I scored two adorable pink golf shirts that he will have custom embroidered with their logo for me! Nice touch! I had never played golf using carts that stop automatically, meaning you do not have to squash in the brake to lock the cart in place, until yesterday at the Ledges. This is an excellent feature for this course because it is literally like a roller coaster in twists and turns! At any angle, when you put your foot on the brake, the cart stops and stays put. Each hole is named (e.g., Old Stoney, The Pedestal, False Hope (featuring an unseen water hazard), Hawks Haven (yes, there are hawks up there!), Temptation). The greens are crazy fun because you get so many crazy "toilet bowl" rolls, and some putts actually appear to roll uphill! Only regret was not enjoying the driving range prior to the scramble. They take a supersized golf cart way down in the valley to an absolutely lovely driving range. Our group was too happy socializing to take advantage of a proper warm up in the awesome driving range Had we done this, maybe my twosome would have scored better than next to last, ha ha! Thank you Ledges, and thank you Blue Creek.
