The ONLY bump in the road for the entire weekend occurred Saturday night. We were in cottage #13 enjoying the lovely private fire pit area when the sprinklers in the golf course came on. Well, we weren't expecting the sprinklers to be set at 360 degree coverage so we got wet and our fire pit turned into a downer. But, we will be back! Awesome weekend!

The stall in the ladies bathroom smelled of strong, aged urine ; probably due to the mat on the floor in front of the toilet that has accumulated urine. My home course is nothing special and costs less than $60 to play, with that in mind I cannot warn people away from this place enough. The grass in my front yard is cut shorter than the green (with it being aerated). The fairways feel like you're hitting off of the cart path, loosened the head of a 3 wood that was barely chunked, literal asphalt fairways. The tee box is your only chance to survive here with it being as short of a course as it is. The price on the weekend is $40 and I can't comprehend how the course is in this bad of a shape with it being as busy and over crowded as it was. I genuinely think the staff doesn't care about the condition because they stay busy from my understanding. If you care about your golf game at all and want to improve, stay away from this goat farm.

Well yes, it's a private golf club but this feels more like spending time with the part of the…read morefamily you like. The course is a fun a playable course. Well setup for all levels of play. And it is rare that pace of play is ever an issue (unless you are behind me). Good sized greens with the right amount elevation change to add challenge but not make you feel like you are putting through a windmill. Most of fairways are wide and open and bunkers are placed so you have a choice to take a chance and go for it or play it safe. Two pools with service. One is adults only but bathing suites required. Water fall from the top, adult pool, down into the family pool. Club house is not stuffy but the right amount of elegance that fits for both enjoying a night with the family, having a party or entertaining for business. Well, I guess we can't forget the food. I'm not big on all the strange l, trendy concoctions. But the head chef knows how to create a memorable meal that I wonder if I'll like it and am never disappointed. Now I know to trust him. Recently, and the menu changes, they added a cola chicken nachos that I will stop off on the way home after a long day just for that. And if the Clam Chowder is the soup of the day then it's a combo meal for me with a bowl of chowder to go. If all you are looking is for some drinks then you won't be disappointed. Great bar with the best staff. And when I say you feel like family I mean it. If you are a member of Club Corp then you be sure and stop by to play a round, relax in the pool or enjoy a meal.
