The first visit we stayed during covid in December so it was just our group of 4 and one other couple staying in the resort. It was nice because it felt so private. We stayed in the resort rooms and we were surprised with how nice they are. Everything was clean. It was a bit small but we made it work. The second visit we stayed in their cabins and preferred it more. we got 2 bedrooms and each one had 2 beds so all of us slept comfortably. I loved that the cabin comes with a full kitchen and table so we spent our night playing board games. The park itself has so much to do. There are tons of hiking trails, horseback riding and even boat tours that take you up close to the waterfall. You have to go to the Moon bow at least once in your lifetime. It's when the moon hits the water at the right angle and you see a rainbow at night. It is a cool experience but it does get really crowded so you may want to come early. Cumberland Falls gave me unrealistic expectations for state parks because this what I feel like most state parks should be like.

Paulina, Maria, and Tamarah have been no help when we have spoken to them- only excuses and empty promises that lead to no resolution. Buyers beware: They are quick to lie to you to take your money, but they will ignore you and hold you to a contract even when the property itself is defunct.

My biggest recommendation to anyone considering this venue is to have a legal representative carefully review the contract before signing anything. In our experience, there were too many loopholes and unclear provisions that created unnecessary stress and confusion. Wedding planning is already overwhelming enough, and couples should be focused on enjoying their engagement and preparing for their special day--not worrying about unexpected issues or hidden complications that continue to surface. Brides and grooms deserve transparency, professionalism, and peace of mind when choosing a venue. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. This place is going to take off once everyone wakes up and decides Florida ain't it and the baby boomer find that Tennessee is a great place to go with great weather etc. Reasonably close to Nashville and lots of outdoor activities nearby on the cleanest lake in Tennessee. The development is well run, always being improved and a real gem of a location high up on the ridge. Don't miss it! Good land that has great developers and quality management is hard to find and this place has it all. What I can't believe is that the people with dough in Nashville haven't discovered that they have this place for a summer home or retirement in their "backyard.".
