Despite my being the only room reserved, the heat was on- which is different from what the previous reviewer states from last October. Starling did meet me there to let me in and welcomed me. I was provided a yummy breakfast and encouraged to have my time there as needed. Each room is decorated with a theme, and the shared quarters of kitchen and living room are very nice- games, snacks, etc are all there. I plan on returning soon! Hopefully several times!

I went online and the rooms looked adequate and best of all - it was a short drive to the wedding site. The wedding was on Sat so we booked a room for Fri and Sat nights at $110 a night ($220 total). We knew that the temps in the TN mountains had turned very cold (late Sept) so we weren't surprised to find a temperature of 51and dropping rapidly at 9:30 PM upon our arrival. No one lives on the premises so we had to wait until someone came to let us in. We noticed immediately that it was very cold inside the house but another 5 min to get Starling to acknowledge that they 'would not' turn the heat on for only one room. They apparently also do not have central air as we only saw a window a/c unit. All the comforts of home - not! We are still dealing with a credit card dispute as they refuse to refund our $220 even though we left there 5 min after arriving and drove to Dayton TN where we stayed at a Best Western for the same price - and we had heat (a reverse cycle so a/c when needed in the summer). The owners of White Wagon focus more on money than customer relations.

Great level gravel sites with lawn picnic tables & charcoal stand grill at each site. The 2nd phase has in-ground fire rings. Nice quiet country side lush green views with beautiful sunsets. They have added a fenced dog park also. This is our place to stay when husband is working at Watts Bar nuclear power plant.

At night time they have bands playing on the dock bar with cheap beer. There is also a restaurant - make sure you get there early. It's quite popular and there can be long waits. My boyfriend and I were in a floating cabin and loved it. More than enough space, little kitchenette, and sofa. The restaurant went out of their way to help set up a surprise party for my boyfriend that involved 31 people coming from all over the country. They were so amazing, words cannot say! Christy, the manager of the campground helped out with the next days picnic and setting up the pavilion we rented. It is a beautiful area and I highly recommend it for small or large get togethers!

The initial booking interaction with the front office manager was excellent, and she went out of her way to make sure we were familiarized with the property, how to get in and out of the coded gate, and where to find our documents/keys, etc. as we were checking in late upon arrival. The cabin was beautiful, if not a tad outdated in the typical "Gatlinburg mountain-style" motif, and was settled nicely by itself without an immediate neighbor, so we felt very comfortable, secluded, and able to fully relax - the ideal weekend getaway environment! What was even better was the pricing. Our cabin was a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, fully stocked kitchen with all appliances, dishware, silverware, etc, and a living room area with 2 couches, a lounge chair, including a flat panel with tv access, and all across 2 stories. Everything was very well cleaned, the loft area was beautiful, and even had an in-room whirlpool-jetted tub. Everything they said they'd do, they did. Great service, nice location very close to the Fall Creek Falls State Park, and within 15 mins either way of the nearest town for additional options. Overall, we'd most certainly visit here again the next time we're looking for a hike along the beautiful falls nearby!

stayed at Ballyhoo for seven nights...probably the prettiest, quietist, cleanest RV campground I've…read moreever been to...this place open in the 60's and it's very well maintained by the owners...the little playground is older and the pool is no more to eventually be turned into a dog park...the bathhouse was immaculate with a fold down bench and plenty of hooks in each shower stall...the water was hot with great pressure...loved it. Laundry room was also immaculate. There is a 2-3 acre grass field to walk your dogs...but pro tip invest in 50 foot long leash and your dog is able to get incredible exercise...very easy to get in and out of all the sites are gravel with grass surrounding...there is a picnic table and fire pit at each site...this place is an incredible value...I moved to another park in Dandridge packed with long term RV's and it's garbage compared to Ballyhoo and more expensive...I had a number of conversations with the hard working owners, the Watkins, and they are lovely people...I'd like to address an issue I see with some reviews on Google...Ballyhoo has campground rules no different than any other campground...I see people complaining and leaving poor reviews mostly because they don't want follow the simple rules...such as keeping their dogs on leash...they get upset when they get called out and then blame the owners...that's bullshit. I followed the simple rules like most do and had a great time. Thank you Doris and Stanley for a great stay.

Place isn't maintained correctly. Owners not interested in making necessary repairs or they jerry…read morerig the repairs and never completely fix the issue. Website on Facebook says beautiful lake views, but all you see is docks and buildings from 95% of the sites, however they will charge you premium prices for the ugly views. They also say full hookups for electric water and sewer, but half the sites don't have sewer hookups. Owner offers to pump out the sewer maunally, but only when its convenient for him, not when you need it. Owners read the electric meters but do not offer a bill for your usage, and can't remember the reads when asked for verification. These owners don't xare about the enjoyment of the renters only the money put into their pockets. There are much better camping places on Watts Bar lake that offer lower prices and a real family experience.
