Dirt daubers are a big problem here. They make their nests inside the roofs above the boats which creates a big mess on the boats. We had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning our boat before taking it out on Watts Bar Lake to have fun. The owners know there is a problem with them but do not do any attempts to get rid of these pests. Thus, the rent $100 a month.

What a great restaurant location and amenities the marina provides. The service at the restaurant was amazing as were the dining areas food and beer selections. Called the golf Capital of Tennessee, we see many retirees coming into this area! It did drizzle on us but shucks we were all in swim wear . Boats were well maintained and not difficult to handle. I recently wanted to do a repower on a boat I…read morehave been working on for quite a while but I got some bad information that this place didn't do repowers only rigged new boats. I took a chance and called them and yes they do repowers so I ended up talking with Dave Carnes the salesman and he verified they could do the work. So I towed my boat to him so he could evaluate the hull and discuss what wants I needed on the boat. We came up with a plan of engine replacement and some additions I asked for. He said it might take a while which there were customers ahead of me in which I understand I was in line for my turn. I expected 3-5 weeks out on it but was calling me the first week with updates where we were at. By the second week they were installing the engine and ready for lake testing to get the prop pitch right and were ready for me to pick it up. This place is top notch and the customer service is incredible. Their mechanics went above and beyond with fabrication and replacing possible issues that could trouble me. I also want to give a shout out to Jonathan the parts manager for setting me up with everything I need to service this engine as it breaks in. Thanks to all these people that were involved in bringing my boat back to life. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for the best service anywhere. They are a Yamaha dealer and stand behind their work and products and are professional. Thanks again John Mattos.

No wonder so many people call these boats their permanent full-time homes! And what a "neighborhood". Everyone talks to one another - about their boats, about the weather, about what they're eating, or who's coming to visit. There's also a restaurant/bar near the large boat dock, which is convenient upon exiting from the boat parties! I've been here a few times, and love it more each visit. I hope to see it stay quaint and pleasant and quiet, and I hope to be able to return for many years to come.

This particular marina is horrible! It's run by a guy named Corey that manages the dry docks and…read moreslips. My boat has been at this Marina for a year in dry docks. They damaged my new wake boat several different times, each time I brought it to their attention. Corey threatened to kick me out of the marina stating my boat was too big. Yet he has other wake boats on there as well. They actually ripped a large hole in my $1,900 boat cover and refused to pay for a new one and again threatened to kick me out. As we know spaces are limited on Tellico lake. Well today I got a random call from Corey stating I need to pick up my boat immediately that it's just too big after a year. No notice, no 30 days, he gave me until the weekend to pick it up. Stated the boat will be in the water Saturday and they are done servicing me. It's important to note I paid to get my boat repainted and all the damage they caused at no charge to them! Apparently this marina has like 11 owners and no way to reach someone above him to complain to. Now I'm left scrambling to find a place to even store my boat in the middle of the summer. User be ware!

Going white water rafting with my family for my birthday was everything I could have hoped for…read more.. and more! Our guide, Spencer, was incredibly skilled as he could have navigated blindfolded... yes, he's that good! Spencer was also an absolute blast to surf the river with... very friendly, knowledgable and well-traveled... he had plenty of amusing stories to share and kept us all very engaged. I should also mention that Spencer was also seriously great at gaging our comfort level vs. our spirit of adventure... therefore, he was able to navigate us down various paths of the river making it challenging and thrilling for us! While there are plenty of white water outfitters to pick from, we intentionally picked a smaller outfitter and we were so glad we did... we felt our experience was more personal, less generic, and seriously less crowded! I only wished I had sat in the front of the boat where the photographer was situated... that would have made a fantastic birthday photo. The only other "disappointment" was that Cascade Outdoors advertised about their HOT SHOWERS which was super important to us and was one of the main reasons we chose Cascade Outdoors... but there was NO hot water available and the lack of being able to take a good shower after the rafting trip did impede on our other plans. Other than that, Cascade Outdoors and our guide, Spencer, offered us a fabulously fun white water experience on the Ocoee River! We can't wait to return!!! :)

Website on Facebook says beautiful lake views, but all you see is docks and buildings from 95% of the sites, however they will charge you premium prices for the ugly views. They also say full hookups for electric water and sewer, but half the sites don't have sewer hookups. Owner offers to pump out the sewer maunally, but only when its convenient for him, not when you need it. Owners read the electric meters but do not offer a bill for your usage, and can't remember the reads when asked for verification. These owners don't xare about the enjoyment of the renters only the money put into their pockets. There are much better camping places on Watts Bar lake that offer lower prices and a real family experience.
