It's funny that your prices are the same as the neighboring skating rink in Chattanooga; which is clean, modern, has brand new rental skates, has real skate music, has a mostly smooth floors, and is a good family rink. Roller Coaster is stuck in the 1970's, is dirty, has never been renovated, and is very run down. It's sister rink in Cleveland is just as bad (It's the same family running both rinks into the ground). Even the floor needs resurfacing badly (Despite some other reviewer's comments). There is a difference between being an "older" rink and being a trashy, dirty, unmaintained rink. Sorry, but a rink ran so poorly deserves to go out of business and let someone else do the job right. read more

This skating rink is older, but honestly it's fine as far as rinks go. The parking is a bit steep driving in, however it's otherwise not bad. The reasons I went with three stars is because we had a lot of problems with their rental skate. 3 out of 4 of us had to change skate, myself once, my husband and youngest kiddo three times.. okay, but when we got the skates out of the way, it was a lot of fun, however .. Be aware that the music selection is (in my opinion) greatly lacking in upbeat fun family friendly tunes. We went from 12-4pm with our kids and the DJ played slow country music, a few inappropriate songs, only touching here and there on the songs that help create that fun atmosphere that rinks are usually known for, boo! We went for our kiddos and they had fun. Alas, the hunt continues for a good feeling classic skating rink. This location is meh, just bring your own skates and your AirPods. read more

The rink is huge and usually not too crowded which is nice. This place is still playing a Michael Jackson songs though... yikes. Just in general the music is not great for jamming. On the plus side, I haven't seen those death trap skate helpers that cause so many accidents. The place could definitely use a makeover, but the rink size makes it almost worth it. Slow country is not skate music.... seriously like every other song. read more

we had a great time. my 21 year old daughter her friends and my 18 year old daughter and her friends skate every weekend for the past 3 weeks. it fun and growing in popularity again. I bought he skates for her birthday Monday shhh its a surprise lol read more

This is a very old skating rink and that is obvious. The bathrooms are pretty horrible, but the rink floor itself is in good shape and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. read more

The skating rink itself was okay. Part of the floor is a little bit bumpy, but this place has been around forever, and people who can skate better than me wouldn't really care, so I can forgive that. There are only quad skates of course, which was hard for me to get used to. But I had fun relearning everything. I have three major complaints: 1) It was very hot. I don't know why there isn't more AC. 2) The parking is pretty bad. Very steep driveways. Wheelchair accessibility is poor. 3) But the most important is that there is an apparently teenage girl who works there that was rude as all get-out. Three chaperones in our party that I know of complained about her behavior and tone. She even mocked one member of our party right before we left. That's really not a good look. When she wasn't insulting us, she was making out with someone in the corner of the room. Children attending a birthday party (that was booked!) shouldn't be seeing that. If she's working, she should be doing her job (or skating, that's a perk of the job, I guess). If she's not working, she can go do what she wants somewhere else. Extremely unprofessional. If she weren't there, I'd have given 4 stars. As long as she works there, I can't recommend this rink to anyone. read more

This skating rink is an older skating rink but, the rink floor is in excellent condition. We have seen worst. For a "mom and pop" skating rink I am sure it is a struggle to maintain... especially during Covid-19 and now the aftermath. Somehow they've managed to stay open and provide a good skating experience....YESSSS. However, they do need to buy better rental skates, the one's they have are too heavy and too old. The wheels are wharped and the skates are dingy. Umh....I wonder if skates can be washed? HINT: wear 2 pairs of socks. The place could definitely use a make-over. I know for a fact it is at least over 30 years old. I was there when I was 12 yrs old. I am 46 and I take all my grandchildren there now to skate we have even had a birthday party there. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly and the price is right compared to how old fashion it is...Did I mention make-over? The music, I want even talk about the music....Only God can help them when it comes to the music....and that's all I have to say about that. The majority of their customers are white I did see a few black people. Most places tend to cater to the majority probably why the music is more country but we don't just like country music. We like Rock & Roll, rap, R&B, alternative and Reggae...just like they do...Please play a more wider range of music. What is very good about this place is the FOG and the strobe lights....love that. Overall...it is still a blast of good fun. I will continue to go to this skating rink with my grandchildren probably because it is only one mile from the....CRIB......lol. Thank heavens for GPS, even with it I got lost twice finding the place (I'm not a local). The Chattanooga Roller Girls Freshmeat Bootcamp meets here so you know there is plenty of floor space, on and off the track. There is a good range of ages and skating abilities everytime I've been. Plus, the prices are great- on Monday and Wednesday nights it's only $2.50! read more
