Came here with Troop 513 and our Boy Scouts and adults really enjoyed a truly wonderful and satisfying experience. The cave exploration is definitely an adventure and challenging and pushes you to the limit while being guided by experienced guides. Our cave guides were Tristan and Emily and both were very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the cave and their experience definitely made what would have otherwise been a very frustrating and difficult task a fun and truly memorable experience. Tip: you can bring your phone if you aren't afraid to possibly damage or lose it as you will be crawling and squeezing through many parts of the adventure. 5 stars for the cave adventure and 5 stars for the campgrounds. The Manager confronted us at our campsite after we complained about a parking issue. She brought 3 staff members to our camper. Individually, the sites were nice but not the best the state has to offer, but when one considers the sum total of various environs and the fact that Tennessee state parks do not charge admission, I struggle to criticize. I noted that a park ranger gently pushed someone to leash their dog on the trail without getting into a confrontation.

Most are visible from overlooks with short hikes, and for the more adventurous, there are treks to the bottom of the namesake falls, a cable trail (bring leather gloves, carabiner, possibly climbing gear) to Rockhouse Falls, or longer trails like the Paw Paw loop, Overlook trail, or even the Prater Place for a hidden Hemlock Falls. I also stayed in the lodge, which was fantastic! The rooms were well equipped, comfortable, and had great features like balconies. The view at the restaurant over the lake was beautiful, especially at sunset. The fisherman style cabins have decks literally on the water, so that looked like a must see at some point, too!! Couple of other hits: pet friendly rooms, pet friendly trails, golf course, cabins, fire pit and pool at lodge, Nature Center, and Visitor Center!

Many sites in campground C have a minimum to major slope to the concrete sites as they fall to a valley. All utilities are in the back corners of sites that include water spigot, a power pedestal with 20AMP, 30AMP, 50AMP electricity, and sewer connection. The campground did have decent guest WiFi, but we utilized our own StarLink satellite for internet. The park is amazing with golf, lodge, trails, and falls.

It was created when the Chickamauga Dam, as part of the Tennessee Valley Authority, was completed in 1940. The lake meanders from Watts Bar Dam to Chickamauga Dam. The lake is 58.9 miles long. It borders Rhea County, Meigs County, and Hamilton County with 810 miles of shoreline. Two bridges cross the lake. One is at State Highway 60 and the other is at Highway 30. It was named after the Chickamauga Cherokee who used to live in the area. I don't fish; I just observe fishermen who are on the docks. Sometimes they like to chat about what they've caught, especially when it's striped bass.

No apology, no accountability, and absolutely no refunds. It feels deceptive, plain and simple. Save your money and go somewhere that actually delivers what it promises.
