This place opens at 2:00 PM on Sundays so I decided to drop by at 2:00 PM to beat the crowd. Y'all...there were quite a few folks there. I was surprised to see so many people. Parking was easy. My admission was a bit lower because I had my own skates. It was $10 per person for my husband and kids. There were 3 birthday parties so that might be why there were that many people there on a Sunday. The inside looks like the skating rinks I went to as a kid, which was fine with me. My main goal was to skate so I could break in my new roller skates. I was pleasantly surprised by the music selection. It was a good mix of old and new school music. It was very family friendly. I didn't try any of their food or visit the restrooms so I can't speak on how those things. There were a lot of kids here. I'm going to have to check to see if they have an adult skate night because I did have to watch out for the little ones, but it wasn't too bad. Roller Coaster is stuck in the 1970's, is dirty, has never been renovated, and is very run down. It's sister rink in Cleveland is just as bad (It's the same family running both rinks into the ground). Even the floor needs resurfacing badly (Despite some other reviewer's comments). There is a difference between being an "older" rink and being a trashy, dirty, unmaintained rink. Sorry, but a rink ran so poorly deserves to go out of business and let someone else do the job right.
