Had been going to Ft. O instead since about equal distance to this one... but now Playland will be an option again. The floor warp that has nearly killed me in past... seems to be fixed... at least I have not hit it and had "come to Jesus" moment yet. I would encourage them to get a water fountain, real DJ options, and planning games (tag, backward skating songs, etc). It's a Saturday night and it's full of little ones with skate mates running in the wrong direction and left to right. I went and talked to them at the front seat their reaction was sorry. Come on that's a horrible response. Not let me get on the mic and try and fix the craziness that's going on. People get hurt because of this. It's been this way the whole night too. This place opens at 2:00 PM on Sundays so I decided to drop by at 2:00 PM to beat the crowd. Y'all...there were quite a few folks there. I was surprised to see so many people. Parking was easy. My admission was a bit lower because I had my own skates. It was $10 per person for my husband and kids. There were 3 birthday parties so that might be why there were that many people there on a Sunday. The inside looks like the skating rinks I went to as a kid, which was fine with me. My main goal was to skate so I could break in my new roller skates. I was pleasantly surprised by the music selection. It was a good mix of old and new school music. It was very family friendly. I didn't try any of their food or visit the restrooms so I can't speak on how those things. There were a lot of kids here. I'm going to have to check to see if they have an adult skate night because I did have to watch out for the little ones, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, I had a good time and I'll probably be back soon.

They play good music and have just recently updated the entire rink and more importantly their skate rentals. Their prices are very fair and the floor itself is in great shape. They just got a whole bunch of new video games as well. My daughter just had a birthday party there and their staff were so helpful and attentive! It was the easiest party I've ever done, and didn't have to bring anything but a cake, they provided all the food, drinks and paperware, and of course the entertainment!

Roller Coaster is stuck in the 1970's, is dirty, has never been renovated, and is very run down. It's sister rink in Cleveland is just as bad (It's the same family running both rinks into the ground). Even the floor needs resurfacing badly (Despite some other reviewer's comments). There is a difference between being an "older" rink and being a trashy, dirty, unmaintained rink. Sorry, but a rink ran so poorly deserves to go out of business and let someone else do the job right.
