Worst business practices ever, would NOT recommend unless you enjoy wasting your time and money. I received a gift card for LaCura salt spa back in January 2025 for a massage. Since then I have tried to contact them multiple times for an appointment, with no success. I have called probably 10x and nobody ever answers the phone. I have left voicemails which nobody returns. I have emailed at least 5 times with no response. I have gone by in person 3 times and they are always closed. I have gone to their website which is broken and doesn't take appointments. Apparently from reading other reviews this is a theme and they like to scam people. Do not waste your time and money. Instead maybe check out St. Augustine Salt Spa in the downtown area where they are actually professional. read more

I was surprised with a massage for my Birthday, a few days ago. Annette was my massage therapist, I must say that massage was Fantastic! I dozed off for a bit because I was just so relaxed. She had the perfect amount of pressure, and made me feel very very comfortable. Visiting from Vegas this was definitely needed. Thank you Annette for such an amazing Massage. read more

They did not want to honor our Gift Certificate that we got for a Christmas gift. They said that it was under new management and didn't want to honor it. Also they were so rough and didn't listen to directions on the type of massage we asked for. If I could give them a zero star rating I would. read more

I visited LaCura Salt Spa while in town for a wedding. I had a nice massage (with therapist Leila) and my fiancé had a sauna session while waiting for me. Things were running behind schedule that day, but Melissa both called and texted to let me know. I really appreciate this level of professionalism. My favorite thing, though, was the space. I had several amazing services at this spa. I travel from Jacksonville to LACURA for the experience. I especially love the massages and facials. I called LaCura Salt Spa 3 times and twice it went to voice mail that I was not calling during the hours of operation. It is a Thursday at 12:10 pm! Really!!!? The 1 time someone answered she kept moving away from the phone and I could not hear her. When I told her this she rudely said she was close too the phone. The 2nd time I told her I could not hear, she abruptly hang up. She did not call back and did not answer when I called back. As a visitor to St. Augustine, she just lost 2 clients... just like that! I took my husband to LaCura for his birthday. Everyone was so nice! They truly made him feel special from the moment we walked in until we left. We did a couple's massage followed by the ionic foot detox. Andy was my massage therapist. He did a fantastic job. I walked away feeling much lighter. Annette was my husband's massage therapist. He also enjoyed his massage especially since he has a lot of tightness in his back. She used hot towels as part of her therapy. The foot detox was quite an experience. I never had one before so I didn't know what to expect. Overall it felt relaxing placing our feet into the water to get rid of the toxins. Katie did an excellent job explaining the process and making us feel comfortable. We can't wait to go back! read more

I was in town and decided to get a facial here. Jillian gave a wonderful facial. I had the chocolate facial which smelled amazing. It was so relaxing and my skin felt so nourished and it was glowing. Every time I am town now I will make an appointment with Jillian for a facial. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! It's amazing! Seriously AH-MAZING. I noticed a flyer on the bulletin board of my local Java shop (great way to advertise) and was curious. I called, spoke to Jamie who was AH-MAZING too. Signed up for a first time guest special $20 for the session (another fabulous way to advertise) The spa itself is clean, pretty and has that ZEN feel, you know that good juju jive we are all craving. We were given some basic info to fill out and off we went. The salt room was breathtaking. So cool. Smells great, looks great and has the "whoa" factor for sure! We were able to chose the lights, we picked blue, given a set of earbuds with an iPod full of.. yup! Zen music and started our "salt" experience. They have cool chairs and blankets as it feels a tad chilly but refreshing in there. Coming here from CO, I certainly miss the snow but sitting in this salt room gave me a small glimpse of back home with the salt dust floating around. My throat became a bit tickled, which is normal, and I instantly became relaxed. Deep breathing, clearing the mind, setting my intentions and turning off all the chaotic clutter of the busy busy outside world. It went by fast that 45 minutes but it was just that right amount. They have packages which can include a sauna gig too! My ears which love to operate all plugged seemed to be more open! Only after 1 session. As soon as I'm back from my holiday travel, I'm getting the month package to try. Unlimited salt and sauna! I'm too excited about this place. Afterwards, I definitely had the "salt life" look going on!!! It was totally AH-MAZING!! read more

Love, love, love it here. First off, Melissa is very welcoming, attentive, and instantly made me feel comfortable. The spa is so serene. With wonderful music and relaxed atmosphere, you instantly forget the outside world. It's the small things she does, from having a wet wash cloth with essential oil on it for you when you get out of the sauna, to sometimes having snacks and always water available. The salt room is unbelievably relaxing. A blanket, some socks, with headphones with the wonderful music. 45 minutes of pure pleasure. Not to mentions all the good healthy positives that the sauna and salt can do for you. What a joy it is to support this wonderful small business in SA. She is definitely an asset to this community. read more
