Seems pretty basic to call a potential customer back (and I would have been a repeat customer) if you are a business, but hey what do I know? The best time because were able to relax and know that our cats were taken care of, she came twice a day gave them medicine and food, she talked and played with them she just took care of everything. Therefore, my phone service stopped working. I didn't remember that this happens, so it didn't occur to me. After a few days of not hearing from the cat sitter, I thought no news was good news but wondered if I should text her instead of waiting. She called my brother and yelled at me on the phone, accusing me of ignoring her alleged messages--messages I wasn't receiving. She was condescending, accusatory, and arrogant. I was utterly flustered and had no idea what she was talking about. Right after I hung up, someone suggested I completely turn off my phone, so I did, and when I turned it back on, I suddenly received many text messages, including hers. But that doesn't excuse her behavior. There are much better ways to communicate than insulting and accusing your customers. Also, my cats had gained a lot of weight while I was gone. Holiday season or not, I prefer cat sitters who spend some time playing with my sociable cats rather than dashing in and out.
