Why are there no "Amazing Amazing!!!" reviews for this place? One of my cats actually didn't want to leave. One who was anti-social began to follow people around and purr. Then she became queen of the rafters above the heater. The soothing meditation music for the cats (heh) made me want to stay and chill also. I love this. This is a late review when I realized with horror, that I had not left one. It was just before Covid majorly hit. I surely hope they are still in business because you want your cats to stay here. I went to Scotland. I left my two babies here and they sent me text photos while I was gone, easing my worries and heartbreak at missing them. Don't get me wrong, Scotland is wonderful, but I was missing my babies and they knew it. It is on an organic veggie farm. They have rescued horses, turkeys, etc. My boy enjoyed the turkeys very much from the outdoor "catio" and I apologized to him for not being able to have his own flock at home. These people truly CARE about every cat there. I went first to "interview" them because I am truly picky picky picky about where my babies stay. I noticed they did not "prep and prepare" for my visit.... they let me see exactly how it was each day. (Big grin.... wear boots you don't mind getting mud on because the little cat area is very clean, but the area you walk across is muddy) - this is semi-rural after all, and a farm. So.... seriously.... each cat there looked happy and not doped up (there are places that do it, I found). They were lively and happy and feeling content and curious. Each cat "family" is allowed time in the catio alone as a family (i.e. no other cats are there with them). This time is shared equally with all guests. I am very sad that I had to move. I have longed to leave my babies there again just so they can have a vacation even if I go nowhere. read more

We had a wonderful experience boarding our cat , Jeeves , twice during the holidays. Both times were at the last minute, d ue to water damage in our house. Shaundelle, and her family are incredible with animals. We could tell that Jeeves had plenty of attention & care. We were sent pixs of him while we were away. I would recommend this cat hotel to everyone, and plan on using them again. read more

This was a great place to leave our kitty for 9 days while we were on vacation. We had never left him before, so we were worried, but we (or he) couldn't have had a better experience. I left my cat with them over spring break and they did a fabulous job! I was really worried about my kitty, since that was the first time I had left her with someone else since I adopted her. But I was knew she was in good hands at Catmandu! I got daily pictures and updates! They cuddled and played with her and she almost didn't want to come home! My cat means a lot to me. Priority list for me: wife, cat, and everything else so when I find someone that can take care of my cat then it's a huge weight off my shoulders. The nice folks in the recently opened Catmandu Retreat take the weight right off, it really is a retreat, emphasis treat. I truly believe that the owners actually care about Roger (my cat). read more
