We hired this company to come right before the landscapers came on Tuesday so they didn't have to deal with it. It's been such a perfect scenario the landscapers don't even notice we have a Great Dane for the most part. Thanks for the consistent notifications, we appreciate your service.

I've known about the place for several years. Who can miss the grey truck rolling around town with…read morea giant "got poop" sign on it? What I didn't know is they do cat nail trims, among other things too. I figured this would be a fabulous alternative to taking Tigger to the vet for a nail trim, since they come to your home. It's a pain, I'm here to tell you! Trying to stuff the cranky old man into the carrier and then the car ride. God, the car ride alone makes me want to slit my throat. Tigger considers it some form of cruel and unusual punishment too. We had a small scheduling snaffu. Which does happen, and messages get buried. I tried scheduling an appointment online. But they use Google forms, and it is specifically for the dog poop service portion of their business. That isn't relevant to me, so I just sent them a message on social media to explain what I needed. So we made it as far as deciding Tuesday afternoon was good. Then ghosted. Nothing for several days. I figured they didn't want to do it and simply ignored the message that said Tuesday was great. Not a great first impression. Monday rolls around and I finally hear from them again (the first messages were Thursday or Friday) to finish setting up the appointment. Rachel the owner understood the bad first impression and offered to do the nail trim free of charge. I hate letting people work for free because the purpose of a business is to make money. But I also understood the customer service aspect of changing the bad first impression. She wasn't taking my money, even though I tried to give it to her. She gave me a 2 hour window of when she would be there, and followed it up with a more precise time on Tuesday. She was there when she said she would be, and we weren't left waiting and bored. Side note, Comcast could take a lesson here. Lol. Rachel and Russ were the ones that dealt with Tigger. It was very quick, in and out kind of thing. Russ held Tigger and Rachel clipped his nails super quick. Tigger hated it, but still tolerated it. I'd be pissed too if someone came into my house, grabbed me, and cut parts of my body off too. Lol. But it was still easier on him than a trip to the vet. When they left, Rachel gave me a time frame of how often I should be having Tigger's nails clipped. Awesome. I had no idea, I just waited until they were obviously long and becoming an issue. My only future request was they be the ones to do this every time, and not other employees. I like consistency, and it's good for Tigger too. Would I recommend or use them again? Absolutely. Minus the scheduling misunderstanding and the awkward moment of letting complete strangers in my house, they did a great job. Tigger tolerated them better than I expected him to, and it was a fairly painless thing. I will certainly give them a chance to earn that 5th star through consistency and great customer service. I love supporting local business, and this is a good one.

I originally reached out to Oregon Ruff Runners to help exercise my dog Obie while I was pregnant…read moreand after the birth of our baby. To be honest I thought we might just use ORR for a short time while I was pregnant and after the delivery of our baby but after I met Josh and saw how much Obie loves him I knew they would have a customer for life. Before booking runs with ORR, Obie was moderately exercised but as a large breed, working dog he needed more. Behaviorally he pulled a bit on the leash, had some separation anxiety, was frightened of and leash reactive with other dogs. Now though, Obie pulls less on our walks, has learned several useful commands (we did the additional brain games package in addition to the running) and is less reactive while on walks. As a rescue dog he has had some mild separation anxiety and seems to be more social and confident since going out with Josh. After each run Obie is happy for the entire day. Overall he seems more calm and peaceful after a run with Josh. Also, he has lost 3 pounds! One of my favorite things is when Obie sees Josh's car pull up he starts slowly wagging his tail and does a few of what we call "baby deer jumps", it's really sweet. I like to watch them run off together, Obie will look back to me just to double check everything's ok and then confidently turn to run again. It is really nice to see him be excited and not so worried about leaving my side. I am so happy we found Oregon Ruff Runners! They are flexible, affordable, up-to-date on training techniques, truly care about each dog's well being and care for the betterment of Eugene's dog community as a whole. Their newsletters and tips are fantastic and entertaining! I would highly recommend Oregon Ruff Runners!

I recently started having Oregon Ruff Runners take my Sadie girl for a weekly run, sometimes 2X per…read moreweek and it's one of the best things I can do for her. She gets out and exercises which has increased her stamina, her strength, her overall health for sure and she gets to socialize with other dogs and hang out with Josh who is amazing! All I have to do is tell her Josh is coming today and she knows exactly what that means, she gets all excited and can't wait for her run. Josh is awesome with her, Sadie is a rescue and can be timid around new people but she knew right away she was safe with Josh and that was enough for me because if Sadie likes you, you're good people. Since I can't get Sadie out for the daily exercise she needs, this is perfect - it helps both of us as I don't have to feel guilty for working and she gets to make new friends. I highly recommend Josh & Oregon Ruff Runners - what are you waiting for - your dog deserves it and so do you!!

The best time because were able to relax and know that our cats were taken care of, she came twice a day gave them medicine and food, she talked and played with them she just took care of everything. She watered my fuchsias for me because was really hot this week. She checks the mail and keeps an eye on the house. My partner and I have various disabilities that doesn't give us the best option of administering what our boy needs. We called on Tasha to be his nurse and she has truly been wonderful. Having the option of in-home care for our boy has changed our (and his) world for the better. The stress of the carrier, car rides and the vet every week is no longer necessary! Tasha comes to our apartment twice a week and brings a warm, soft blanket just for him. She really takes the time to connect to our fur baby and she takes the time to connect with us as well. Tasha answers any questions to the best of her ability. She's intelligent, patient, incredibly caring and professional. You can tell that she has a deep passion for animals and a lot of training and experience that has given her the tools she needs to provide the very best care. She keeps in weekly contact, checking on our boy and reminding us of appointments as well as offering a different time for her to come in as her schedule allows. We keep an odd schedule and Tasha is very accommodating! Our fur baby likes Tasha and he's comfortable with her too. She's given all of us some peace of mind and the security of knowing she's there when we need her. Tasha has gone above and beyond her call of duty and we are so grateful to her! She's dependable, punctual and a good person with a heart of gold, a sharp mind and a gentle hand. We are blessed with more precious time with our fur baby because Tasha has made it so. If you're looking for someone who is caring, professional and who treats your fur baby as an individual and not just another animal - then Tasha is who you need! We trust her with our fur baby and that is priceless. :)
