You have to sign a bunch of paperwork saying you will not back out of the procedure. So I signed the paperwork and paid the entire amount out of pocket PLUS a nonrefundable fee for fat disposal. When I went in for my preop evaluation with the doctor, she then told me that I needed $4,700 more to do other things that originally were not part of the $12,600 quoted on the initial assessment!!! I was mad!! I was willing to pay $12,600, but no more. They should have quoted me one price from the very beginning instead of tacking on more charges just prior to surgery!! Fortunately enough for me, my personal doctor did not approve the surgery and I was able to get my $12,600 back!! Of course, I didn't get the nonrefundable fat disposal fee back, which I think was like $85. I would not trust them because they were dishonest from the beginning. However, everyone was nice, but I don't like how they conduct business.
