My experience with repair shop has been very unsatisfying. I initially traded in a laptop for…read moreanother from the shop. The following day, I had to return it because it was defective and unfixable. So, the owner gave me another laptop to replace that one. It is now 6 months later after getting it, I had to return that. He says that it needed more memory because he's the expert I followed his advise and paid additional money. Then upon calling him to get an update, he states that it might be a hard drive issue. I didn't get the laptop back same day as promised. Then he explains that it's a driver issue the updates from HP are not compatible with the laptop. He was unable to tell me year and model of the laptop. However, he says he has a fix for it. I pick up the laptop and the graphics are horrible and look very outdated. This has been most inconvenient as I work from home. I have essentially lost 2+ work days and have an outdated computer. Unacceptable!

All items & services were all very fairly priced and had excellent service from entry to exit. What I appreciated most was the honesty & expert knowledge of our needs. Monique she was so helpful, gave wonderful recommendations and wonderful service (even coming in right before they closed). Laptop fix: Anthony could have easily told me to go buy a new laptop or sell me one of his for my son but he was honest, gave technical responses in non-technical fashion and recommended exactly what was needed & didn't over sell. My son is in e-sports so a working portable device is required. He can play all his video games at the speed necessary to compete and it runs better than originally purchased (it was a refurbished one). Anthony listened to our broken explanation of the issue, asked appropriate questions to quickly diagnose & followed up in a very timely manner. When given the opportunity to take advantage of my lack of knowledge, he didn't do that. We will be back soon. Unfortunately my son dropped his phone & cracked his screen protector and a friend of mine has a laptop to be fixed. We highly recommend checking them out.

Communication was good throughout the process, and he did an excellent job repairing my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller. I was having several issues with the controller, but after the repair, everything is functioning properly again and working exactly as it should. It's definitely nice to find someone who actually knows how to work on these controllers, especially since they aren't always easy to find someone locally willing to repair. Matt was professional, easy to communicate with, and made the entire experience smooth. The service and quality of the repair were absolutely worth it. **10/10 experience.** I would definitely use Moore Tech Repair again and highly recommend Matt to anyone needing electronics or gaming equipment repaired. After the repair, the…read morelaptop worked, but I later discovered it was running on a 128GB SSSTC SSD--a very small, low-end drive I never authorized or discussed with the shop. When I asked for clarification, the business stated they had diagnostic photos, hardware inventory screenshots, and a detailed report proving the SSD was already in the machine at the time of service. I requested copies multiple times. They did not provide a single photo, screenshot, or document. The customer portal they referenced contained only an invoice and the laptop's serial number. When I asked again for the documentation they claimed existed, the shop refused to send it and insisted they would no longer communicate in writing. They stated that any further discussion must take place only in person, which prevents any verifiable record. At no point did they provide the evidence needed to confirm their claims. My review is based entirely on written communication and the business's refusal to provide the diagnostic documentation they repeatedly referenced.
