There were only a few other guests during our stay and things began to pickup as we were leaving. In the past, later at night, we've walked by and the place is quite packed. If you like quiet intimacy and a deal on drinks and food happy hour is your golden time here. I almost hate to share this secret tbh. Don't go. Leave this for me haha. The drinks here are all delicious and lovingly made. Really superb cocktails that taste good. The food is pretty good. It is clearly prepared well and presented artfully. I do think that calling a burger, "A quest for heaven" and not having it be super memorable and mind blowingly flavorful is a miss. It's a good burger and I'd eat it again but it's not a craveable item and I hoped with such a small menu it would be amazing. The charcuterie is super generously portioned and the nduja add on is a huge portion of nduja. Get the charcuterie. The crab toast was good and I'd get it again. We want to try baked brie next time. We also tried the pistachio mousse dessert and it was very pretty but lacked a lot of pistachio flavor. A chocolate cup full of unflavored but rich whipped cream and a minuscule amount of pistachio flavored something that was holding the cup to the plate. We were mostly just confused by the name of the dish versus the experience. It was good just not pistachio mousse. We actually wondered if someone accidentally prepared it wrong. We were here for an anniversary and were given free champagne before our meal and offered more at the end which we declined because of all the other lovely drinks we'd had. The service was great, the staff were polite and informed about the menu and drinks and the bartenders made wonderful things. Will be trying Saint Neri again soon.

Excellent service!…read more From the moment we walked in we were greeted and welcomed heartily. We were the only customers and literally had this place to ourselves the entire time. Made for a 5 star private dining type experience that although I appreciated, I couldn't quite understand as the food was magnificent. If you're looking for a great meal that won't leave you heavy and weighed down, this is it! I had the lasagna because I was told by the chef and the friendly waiter that it was fresh hand made pasta and didn't use ricotta cheese. A total winner for me (not a ricotta fan). It was delicious! Melted in my mouth. Buttery, velvet-like texture to the pasta makingit delightfully delicate. Nice balance of sauce and cheese. Meats had a great flavor. I didn't like I had to order a full appetizer size salad because they didnt offer side salads, but the salad was good as well. My birthday guest ordered the NY Strip steak of which I took a taste. It was FULL of flavor and cooked as ordered. Tender and everything you'd hope for in a steak entree. The mashed potatoes were another story. Lacked flavor and I don't care for the chunky mashed potatoes. I like my mashed thick, but creamy, buttery, and seasoned. I do not recommend them. This review is a 5 due to service and both main's being excellent. The chef honored the birthday boy with a complimentary homemade tiramasu that was airy, slightly sweet, great textures of crunch on top, moose in the middle, and spongyness on bottom. The fruit as garnish paired well, but as we shared the slice it made me wonder "if this is REAL, fresh made tiramasu, I have no idea what "tiramasu" I've been eating all these years." So good! I had no idea why this place was empty at 3pm on a Saturday, but my guess is they are new. Once the word is out I'm sure business will pick up. At least I hope, because I'd love to bring my son back to try so he can compare to his culinary experience in Italy. The restaurant itself was very clean...including the bathroom. My daiare wasn't fond of the hard wooden chairs. The ambiance is more bright, sophisticated modern than dark, tavern-esque as the name may suggest. Check them out and tell Chef Stephen I sent you

Arrived just after 6 pm and was asked about reservations despite a thin crowd. We were seated on…read morethe patio and after several minutes, served water by a staff member who admitted he was not our server for the evening. Christopher arrived, shared a very loud video to attempt to entice us to order the specials; however, several were not available. We had browsed the menu ahead of time and had our choices in mind. We also advised we were hoping to make the show at Revolver Records, if that wasn't too much of an issue for the kitchen staff. My companion ordered the salmon, broccoli, and rice while I ordered the smoked salmon tagliatelle. My companion was pleased with her entree even though her rice was a ridiculous amount of chunky skin-on potatoes and she was not informed that there was a menu change, while I was disappointed at the lack of salmon in the dish. A cute rosette on top with a few flakes scattered throughout does not make for a salmon dish. Christopher was friendly and helped my companion with a replacement napkin (from the waist band of his apron) when hers blew off her lap and onto the sidewalk. Finally, we waited quite some time for the bill, then for the bill to be processed. The reatrooms are gender neutral and adequately lit and stocked; however, patrons are required to climb a set of stairs to reach the restrooms. Other patrons that we conversed with during our meal were still on the patio when we left the jazz show next door and when we asked how dessert was, that we mught be coming back from "round two", they said not to bother because most of the desserts were out of stock. Convenient for our plans but sadly nothing special to write home about. If I were to return, I'd ask for the salmon & broccoli entree and confirm the starch was lemon rice per the menu.

I actually found this restaurant scrolling on yelp. Not sure why it was not a top search. I found this place scrolling. Saw a few reviews and the food presentation was beautiful in photos . I told my husband I was craving a steak of some sort & the local "3 stars " weren't cutting it . This place was already rated well above three , even four stars ! So we took a walk! Upon entering I noticed the "Suzanne " drink" this is my mother's name so of course I had to order ! Just like my mother , the drink did not disappoint! I ordered the steak frites however replaced the frites with salad(I want drinks over carbs - very difficult decision. I know)... not sure what kind of dressing the used but . Wow. I could eat just that salad every night of my life . The steak was cooked to perfect temp as per my request (medium) I personally enjoy the flavor of steak itself but the sauce that had with this.... This brought it to another level . My husband ordered the Porc . I'm not saying we're low class but we are not high class however we do have manners . I have never seen him eat a meal as quickly as he did in the 15 years we have been together . I too took a bite and was impressed by the flavor and the pork not being over cooked . I actually swooped some of his sauce on my steak & this was to die for . My husband & I showed up at 7:50. The restaurant closed at 9. I actually apologized to the server and hostess due to my self eating incredibly slow . Being a former waitress in my 20's I failed to finish my salads despite their encouragement to take my time. The ambiance , service , food , drink was perfect start to finish . This is officially in our line up. Thank you for making my birthday week and most importantly our wedding anniversary special.

Starting with ambiance.......2 full sized bars with plenty of tv viewing if that is what you are in to while there. The seating area is well lit with natural light and comfortable, well spaced seating. We were greeted by our quiet, yet smiley server, Raymond. He was warm, efficient and also gave us great recommendations (coupled with personal stories as to why they were recommended). We ordered drinks (their craft cocktail menu is one of the best I have seen) and then perused the menu. We went with Raymond's recommendation to order 2 cinnamon rolls for the table (we were leary as many places whose claim to fame for having the "best" cinnamon roll, fall short). We also ordered 2 of the multigrain breakfast sandwiches, a smashburger, Brasserie breakfast sandwich, and the biscuits and gravy (highly recommended by Raymond as well). Everything was OUTSTANDING! Phrases like "seriously the combination of this breakfast sandwich with pancakes as the buns is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had." And, the cinnamon rolls!!! Raymond wasn't lying when he said they were the best. All 5 of us agreed that they were the best cinnamon rolls we have ever had, and lo and behold then had a conversation about what makes a good cinnamon roll - these check ALL of the boxes. We are still talking today about the great atmosphere, service and drinks/food at this establishment. And yes, there may STILL be talk about the cinnamon rolls. Don't sleep on this place!
