The waxing itself was super quick and painless and then Nadia took time to clean everything up with tweezers, also quick and painless. It is a little more expensive than threading at cheap salons, but I got a better shape for my eyebrows and zero breakouts (those do happen after threading). I've been going to Nadia for 5 months now for all my waxing needs. The type of European wax that's used at Lablosh is very gentle on the skin, and isn't like the crappy orange wax used at other salons where it rips half your skin off. Any redness you have goes away after an hour or so post wax, whereas other places I've gone to have let my skin red into the following day. The technique is very sanitary and Nadia doesn't ever double dip with the wax. She's very thorough and won't let you leave the room unless you're happy and satisfied, on top of being the sweetest person ever! I was so nervous to get my first Brazilian wax, but after much consideration and research, I found Lablosh. Some of my friends have said that getting a Brazilian was painful, but they have clearly never been to Lablosh by Nadia. On my first time, she was so nice and talked me through each step and it was not painful at all for me. She also uses a hard wax which apparently is less painful than the other types of wax used. I just went today for my first Brazilian wax. WOW!!! I went in stressed thinking it was going to be very painful. But it was a great experience. I had a really bad experience with my under arms a couple of years ago and it traumatized me enough to never want to wax again. My skin tore, was in so much pain pain even days after and red bumps almost blister like. What made go to Nadia? Her amazing reviews and a friend of mine was very impressed by her. I am baby when it comes to pain, but Nadia took care of me and let me know when it might feel more painful before she waxed. I am very picky and I expect a high level of professionalism, especially for waxing services. I have been living in the city for 8 years and I have never found a decent waxer. Tried a lot of different waxers for a few years. Then went to UniKwax for a few years and wasn't satisfied but I couldn't find anything better. Then tried European Wax Center, which was the WORST experience I have ever had. Therefore went back to UniKwax.
