I walked in at exactly the time of my appointment (I burned more time looking for the exact location than I thought I would). They had me back within about 3 minutes of my arrival. All three employees I encountered were nice and professional. The whole visit was also quick. I would definitely recommend using them for this service. Just a note, if you are going for the first time as I was, look at a map of Brookwood Medical Center in advance. You have to wind all the way through the campus to the back side. I looked at the map but accidentally ended up getting back on the ramp that forced me back onto HWY 31, so then I had to get back off at the Lakeshore exit and start over in driving through the hospital campus. I missed my turn because there is no sign for Quest Diagnostics on the main signs at Brookwood. But once you snake your way back to the back side of Brookwood the address number on the building "513" is in large numerals and easy to see. Parking under 30 minutes is free, and I was easily in and out in under 30 minutes having set an appointment in advance.

The front desk ladies, the techs, and the Dr were all efficient, thorough and kind. My appt was at 8:00 and I left at 8:25 with results having been discussed with me and a confirming letter in hand. When we got there, my wife let them know that she needed her CT Scan. The receptionist said for her to sit down and she would get it. She noticed that the receptionist was very chatty with others in the office. She had to wait 20 minutes. She asked the tech who did her scan why this was taking so long. At that point, this tech went over and got the copy on the desk of the receptionist. It had been sitting there all along. I also called to talk to a tech in the office who went up to the front desk to check on the copy. She said my wife just went out the door. We were told if you email them then all you had to do is stop by and pick it up. This wasn't the case, but there was plenty of time to be a Chatty Cathy and not look for the copy of the CT Scan.

Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach the billing department. When I called the office for assistance, they were unable to help and simply transferred me back to billing, where no one answers the phone. To make matters worse, the note on the bill threatened collections. I attempted to pay the balance online, but the Phreesia payment system froze and would not complete the transaction. At this point, I have tried every available option: The billing department does not answer calls. The office staff cannot answer billing questions. Calls are routed back to billing with no resolution. The online payment system is not functioning. The physicians may provide good care, but the administrative and billing experience has been unacceptable. If patients cannot get answers to billing questions or make payments through the available channels, there are serious organizational issues that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, this experience has earned a well-deserved one-star review..
