LOVE LOVE LOVE label swap!!!! I don't think I have found anything like it in tampa. They carry really great brands like lululemon, free people, anthropology, coach, kate spade. Just overall nice brands you might find in a Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus. A lot of people compare it to Playtos closet but it is much cleaner, the clothes are nicer/better quality, all the workers are so nice and helpful, better value for what you are buying, the clothing is more up to date, and overall just a great place to shop. Lots of the clothes still have the tags on them, and when you try stuff on you don't feel gross after. I have also brought lots of my clothes, bags, and shoes here. They give you a great value for your everything and they almost double the value if you decide to use it as store credit. They also let you build you store credit overtime so if you don't find anything that day it just stays on your account until you decide to use it. My favorite is the designer case, it's constantly getting new stuff. Last time I went they had a Prada Cleo Bag, red bottoms, hermes belt, and a lot more. This place is really easy to donate clothes to and also to sell. They gave me a great rate for cash and also store credit.

I have shopped here in the past but I would much rather go to Triage Consignment. The difference in customer service is night and day. Employees at Labelswap are standoffish and aloof (think Abercrombie & Fitch). The employees at Triage are super helpful and learn your name as well as suggest things you'll like. The payout is also better at Triage if you plan to consign your items. Labelswap is newer, bigger and feels more like a retail store but that's it. The quality of the clothes and pricing are similar. read more

I shopped here for Halloween less than two months ago. I was greeted well and it seemed like a nice enough store. At checkout, I asked what their return policy was and they said it was store credit and I was fine with that. They did not mention a 7-day limit and when I looked at the receipt I didn't see anything about that. I ended up not using any of these clothes so they just sat in the bag as I knew I'd return it one day. When I decided to return this morning, I saw the 7-day words on the receipt. Had I known or had this been mentioned to me I would have prioritized coming back since I didn't use these clothes at all. I decided to go in anyway and explain everything. When I came in, a woman was ready to help me. She had to get a second woman to help do the return. This second woman had no customer service knack at all. After I talked, she immediately and blanketly said it's clearly stated on the receipt and also that these policies were posted on the wall (a sign with a bunch of small text that I didn't see, wasn't made aware of when I first came in and certainly I don't see customers taking the time to digest when your goal is to shop). Was she also not listening to what I said? I said I didn't see it the first time and so it's been in the bag the whole time and that I didn't see it until this morning when I looked at it again. I'm not saying I deserve a return. I also understand having a consistent policy for all customers. This was my first time shopping and it wasn't communicated clearly there was a 7-day window. The way this second employee responded it was also clear she was impatiently waiting for me to finish because I could tell she wasn't listening to me so she could respond as soon as possible her robotic response of the longly worded sign high above eye level and the receipt (which I already acknowledged I missed the first time). I came in knowing I missed out on some things but was met with stone cold nothingness. Ok, I just read this other 1-star review on this site. I don't know if the person I interacted with was Dinette, but I wish I confirmed now (this person had longer dark hair). The "demeaning" and "insulting" has some resonance and the pointing to the receipt as proof of her righteousness definitely feels familiar. Either way, I agree the customer service is unacceptable, and the return policy needs to be communicated more clearly. We're all living in a difficult time and everyone needs more empathy. read more

$150 FREE PEOPLE JUMPSUIT WAS LITERALLY STOLEN FROM ME. I sold 4-5 items and after in the car I go to look through my items (you'd think I shouldn't even have to have trust issues at a place like this) and BOOM I notice I didn't have my bright yellow free people jumpsuit in my bag (kind of hard to miss the colors on this one). I immediately go back into the store and I get a "Oh wow oops my fault! I must have misplaced it"... BS! Very bad vibe from this place, wouldn't trust them with a large amount of clothes. ALSO, very confused as to why they don't want my brand new with tags Missguided and princess polly dresses but they have nasty J crew & Banana Republic pilled sweaters and worn brand less jeans. If I could give zero stars I would. Hour plus wait for them to look through your clothing and you cannot leave the store to come pick it up. You must "stay" there because they have "questions to ask you" yet I wasn't asked any questions. Horrible horrible experience. read more

I was absolutely blown away by this store! I'm not from the area and looked up secondhand stores to do some shopping before heading home and I'm so glad I did! I was greeted when I first walked in and asked if I had been there before and when I responded that I hadn't they took the time to explain the layout and what the store was really about. Everyone who works there was so friendly and helpful and the store had an amazing selection of gently used (and even new with tags!) higher end clothing and accessories. This store would have gotten five stars from me a year ago, but I feel the overall quality and attention to detail has changed. New staff seems young. I feel that they don't look through my bags of clothing that I am selling throughly. Most of the clothes there now are just trendy and fast fashion pieces. When I first discovered label swap, it was evident that the clothes were all carefully inspected. Now, I see clothes with stains and pills frequently. Overall experience went from "WOW what a gem! I don't recommend this place to sell to. I called on the phone earlier and asked a few questions about selling because I never sold here before I even told the girl on the phone that. I then came in an hour after being on the phone. I was told when I checked in that they only take 30 items in at a time and that you can't wait for your stuff,you have to come back and wait a few days for them to call you. I brought in two bags of stuff and it would of been nice for whoever I spoke to on the phone said they only take 30 items at a time and whatnot. I think this place had cute stuff to buy but definitely don't recommend wasting time to sell to them better off at another place. read more

Too pricey to for a "thrift shop". I went for the first time recently and I knew that they had a sale/promotion going on that weekend so I expected it to be busy. But for a store that has been open for 3 years now should have nicer service. I stood in what I believed was the line by the way the sign for the line was facing. I was about 3 feet behind the person currently getting checked out and no one around me looked like they were waiting until about a 2 minutes another person came up and cut me and was greeted. Then a person after her was greeted and checked out. I looked at the cashier who knew I was standing waiting who told me the line was horizontal from the desk and not vertical.... I was by the sign and still the only one in line. I finally go to get checked out and I was asked if I was part of the rewards and I said no this is my first time being here but I did do the text thing from the dressing rooms. But apparently none of that mattered because she didn't ask me if I wanted to join or what the perks of being on the rewards programs were and I could tell she wasn't in the most pleasant of moods. I got a pair of jeans which I love so two stars. I'll stick to actual thrift shops. I also feel like the clothing they sell are either geared towards the older generation or just not something within the generation of style. read more

I love shopping here but after my last encounter i don't know if i'll be returning. i went to return/sell some items to them and then shopped around for a bit. i picked out about 5 items, purchased them, then went in my car and changed into one of the items that i purchased. two minutes later a women knocks at my car door (it was the same women who did my sell/return) asking for my name saying she wanted to understand my purchase which i thought was weird and frankly gave me a ton of anxiety. regardless i give her my name and then another two minutes later she knocks again as if the first time didn't startle me enough, asking about the shirt i had worn into the store, explaining to her that i purchased something then changed into it. i guess she was trying to accuse me of stealing but she never even explained why the heck she was knocking at my car door TWICE. and after all this i didn't even get a sincere apology for practically chasing me, giving me a panic attack, and accusing me of stealing. it makes no sense and it was a terrible way to handle business. a shame because i love shopping here but now i'm too scared to even go here. read more

I absolutely love this place. Great prices for quality things especially business casual clothes. I work so close that I find myself coming every payday! However the last three times I've been checked out by an older woman who makes me and my husband so uncomfortable that we wait until someone else is behind the counter to check us out. I dismissed it the first time because everybody has bad days. However, this is the third time she has been consistently rude. She has rolled her eyes when I've asked for help and has been passive aggressive even towards customers we've seen ask her for help or check out before us. I just hate feeling uncomfortable coming to one of my favorite place to shop. Otherwise customers service has always been amazing and I'd recommend this place to anybody! read more

Unacceptable Customer Service. I purchased a pair of pants from this company earlier this week. However, before making the purchase I asked Tom B. (the sales clerk) what is your return policy? His response was this "as long as it is within 7 days, has original tags, and the receipt". To my shock when I returned the never used item this morning Dinette (todays sales clerk) said i was only to receive store credit. This was not made clear to me at the point of purchase. If it was, I would not have purchased the item. Moreover, Dinette continued to insult me as a customer, question my aptitude of memory, and demean me in conversation. In addition Dinette said "it says this on the receipt". How exactly am I supposed to read whats on a receipt before ai purchase a garment? Ultimately, This is absolutely unacceptable customer service and I urge everyone to stay clear of this repugnant establishment. read more

If you are looking for good quality used pieces, then this is the store for you. Although they do tend to over price some items. The rotation of smaller sized clothing is extremely rare as well. I have been coming here for months looking for new size small dresses and see the same dresses every time. Also, if you plan to sell clothes, for your first time they require you stay in the store as they filter through your items. I had to wait 45 minutes and I had plans that needed to be rearranged because of this. I asked to wait in my car and got snapped at by who I assume was either the owner or the manager. The poor employees looks rather embarrassed and said I could wait in my car. Their goal was to encourage people to shop during that time. But I did not want to shop and did not want to sit by the register for 45 minutes. I would have brought my items back another time but wasn't informed of this detail until they had already started sorting my clothes. Keep these things in mind as you contemplate selling there. The reaction of the manager has really impacted my impression of the store. I'm not sure how likely I am to shop here after this experience. read more

I have been a frequent shopper at this store since it opened. Not sure but think it's new owner. I usually take a few things in at a time however I did a major clean out and had 2 large bags. Brought them in, they said it would be a long wait till they could go thru them so they would call. Later in the evening they called, said they didn't want anything. I was a bit surprised But whatever. Anyway I picked the bags up the next day.and they HAD NOT LOOKED AT MY STUFF. THERES NO WAY THEY COULD REPACK BAGS EXACTLY AS I HAD.
