I went here to shop for some very specific items. Michelle was very helpful and this store has a great variety. The store is clean and well curated. There is a mix of modern items like lululemon and a mixture of 80's and 90's. Every so often I would see something older like 60's/70's as well. Drove up 25miles from St Pete so the cashiers could take off the beeper taps they neglected to remove omg. Brought up the problem to the store manager and was met with defensiveness before we begrudgingly accepted a whopping $5 store credit on our $30 purchase, as they do not accept returns on majority of the items in store. The second time I got a text saying "come in 24 hours or we are getting rid of the stuff!" so I called and said I could come in 3 days but before coming, I wanted to make sure there was an offer. This "thrift store" is way over priced. I bought something that was supposed to be "50% off" still being $10 and when I got home saw on the receipt that they only took 25% off so I drove back to ask them to fix it and De'Ara told me she's a "key holder" and that she's unable to fix it and told me to come back the next day to talk with the manager Marci. I came the next day this is now the second time I had to come back to ask them to fix their mistake. I told Marci how De'Ara said she wasn't able to fix it and to come back to talk to her instead and I was informed that actually De'Ara was 100% cable of fixing the mistake yesterday. Marci refunded the amount as store credit and than charged me the proper amount. I asked her since this has been pretty inconvenient for me cound she do the same return and rebuy process for an item I bought on that same transaction and she said, " I can't just give out discounts for small things like this" The workers reflect the management. Workers who don't care about customer service stem from management who don't care about customer service. I've been a loyal buyer and seller for years and this experience just makes me regret every dollar I've ever given them. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money at this place. read more

We just found this place today and we're pleasantly pleased with the options. They have really cute options and pieces. I was able to find two great work shirts and THEE cutest little purse that I can't wait to wear. The location is right off of Kennedy and easy enough to spot but you can miss it if you are t paying attention. There is a good amount of parking in the back. i enjoy getting to shop here since they turned over new management (I guess they have turned over management a couple of times, not sure if that's a red flag or not). they have good sales and nice inventory. however, I guess now you have to call in to make sure that they have room for drop off buys because I've come here multiple times with my items and have been told that we run out of space because people wont pick their items up. i think its a bit unacceptable to limit the amount of space the store hold for buys, platos, uptown cheapskate, and style encoure never limit the amount of buys they have in store, so why does label swap have too? the girls at the desk told me to come back to check the next day when they opened, however, its hard to come in the next day when you work 12 hour shifts and cant come in to drop your stuff off (note business is open 10a-6/8p). i waited some time then called back to see if there was space and told the employee on the phone that maybe an idea is to get more bags to accommodate the growth of the tampa area. she then told me my suggestion was a complaint and got really snarky on the phone with me. they couldn't accommodate me and my needs being from a population who doesn't work normal 8-5 hours every day. i hope whoever answered my call never works at label swap again! anyways, I enjoy the environment of the store and selection, but please try to accommodate your guests needs accordingly and take their ideas into consideration, I don't want to go back and ever have to experience what I went through and no one else does either! read more

I decided to bring a couple of items to sell, and I was really surprised at how low the resale value for some of my designer items came back at. I knew I wouldn't receive full-price, but the offers were far from reasonable, in my opinion. I'm better off reselling on Poshmark. I typically take my old clothes to Labelswap when I want to get rid of them but my most recent experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. I dropped my clothes off on Thursday April 27th and didn't get them back until Wednesday May 3rd because I was told that they were backed up. That's not even the worst part, they only took 1 item out of the 10 I dropped off. I was very confused because all of my clothing is great quality and very stylish so I'm shocked that more items were not taken. The poor communication also threw me off because I called on Friday to check the status of my clothes and the young man said that it typically takes 3-4 days if I just drop them off and if I browse in store then it will be a quicker process. But that was never communicated to me when I initially dropped the clothing off. It was never like this before so I'm not sure what has happened over time but I hope that it can soon be fixed on their end. read more

LOVE this store for buying affordable, sustainable, and trendy clothing. I cannot speak to the selling process as I have never tried to sell my clothes. I have found some of my favorite lululemon pieces here and they are always well organized in one section of the store (so it's not a frustrating hunt like some other second hand stores). My favorite part of the store however are the "dot" sales which are 25/50/75 percent off the item's price based on dot color. I never miss a "level up" event (they usually happen around holiday/holiday weekends) during which some items are 95% off (25% goes to 50%, 50 to 75, and 75 to 95). Shopping is always a pleasant experience in this store. The staff are friendly, they greet you when entering, and ask if you need help. There are multiple dressing rooms which are clean. The employees seem to be relatively happy. The store is clean and well organized by item category and size. There is a separate high-end designer section as well. read more

The store is very clean and well organized and they have a lot of nice things for decent prices. Unfortunately, I've had numerous bad experiences with the staff. Nobody seems that interested in working and Ashley in particular talked to me as if I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I left the store not feeling great about my shopping experience. It's also an unfortunate policy that they can't tell you what items they're buying from you over the phone or how much money they're offering. If you decide you don't want to shop in the store for an hour while they look over your stuff, you'll have to wait for an undisclosed period of time to get a text and then once you do get the text, you have no idea if it's actually worth it to drive back. I'm sure they have their reasons for this policy but as a result, I probably won't be back to sell or shop with them again. read more

The store has changed for the wrong reasons. Person that checked me in when I brought in clothing was rude and hard to follow. I was clear I was going to wait in store and she seemed to challenge that ultimately she did not put it as an in-store drop off so a couple days later I received notification my drop off was assessed. Drove back to the store and ridiculously low offer for my clothing and no itemizing, which I was told they have done away with. Last time I do business here. Do NOT waste your time. Only allowed 20 items at a time, and i brought in great brands in great shape. I was told i could wait in the store for my clothes or come pick them up when i got a text. Never was i told that if i do a drop off and pick up that my clothes are not going to be sorted through until the employees get to them (2 days later). After getting the text and driving 45 minutes i get told they can only take 5 out of 20 of my items and get only give me $10... What a waste of time. Also 5 nice items for $10? read more

if you are going to shop here then you will find great deals and items. if you are going to sell designer labels here and think you will get what it is valued, or that you would get more on FB marketplace or anywhere else, then do not sell your items here. I was very disappointed that they pretty much take advantage of your items and give literally nothing back. I brought in items worth about $500 all together used and they wants to offer me $80 store credit or $50 cash. i think it is a slap in the face and I would not recommend selling anything you value over $50 here. read more

If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would because you bring them designer bags that cost over $2000 and they give you $200 or less and it is completely ridiculous and then they go and sell the bag for $900 or more. What the actual FUCK!!! The girl manager has absolutely no respect for anyone she talks down to youand makes you feel completely stupid. The service is awful, they make you wait 30 minutes for an offer and if you choose to accept the offer you need to wait another 30 minutes for them to authenticate the bag. Why not authenticate the bag and while waiting on the authentication, work on an offer so if you choose to accept the offer you can get paid immediately and leave. Labelswap used to be a great place to sell your designer stuff and get good money for it but NOW THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! read more

I've been here two times to drop off clothes. The first time i didn't receive a call and waited over 3 hours because they typed the wrong phone number (mistakes happen I get it, no biggie). But, the second time I came I had to call them because I had been waiting over 2 hours. They said my clothes wouldn't be ready until the next day. The new manager, an older white woman, is incredibly rude. I am a frequent shopper here and since this new manager came on, the vibe of the store is tense. I witnessed her not only yelling rudely at the rest of the (very kind) staff, but also speaking extremely rudely and dismissively to customers. If I could give this place a 0 rating I would. I should have listened to the bad reviews prior to going there. I dropped off 1 bag of clothing there to potentially sell at noon. I called at 5:50pm because I have not yet heard anything and asked when it would be done they said I was next up. When I arrived there around 7:15 they told me that it wasn't looked at yet. I took them home without them even being looked at 7 hours after I dropped them off. Please avoid this place at all cost if you are looking to sell them your clothing. Very rude and unprofessional.
